Apologies for some of the weird mic audio moments... just got a new mic, so still figuring things out! Also, particularly speaking towards the Canadians, stay tuned for what may come within the next few weeks 👀
Robin Buck,Andrew Ranger,Jeff Lapcevich,J.R. Fitzpatrick,Kevin Lacroix are a few other notable great Canadian road course drivers. J.R. Fitzpatrick & Andrew Ranger had some wild wins at the “Circuit De Gilles Vellenuve” on the Montreal road course when they shared that weekend with the then “Nascar Nationwide Series”. Ron Fellows had some of the best wins in the Nascar Trucks & Exfinity Series i remember but unfortunately couldn’t get that Nascar Cup Series 🏁 Anyways keep up the great work “Reegser”! I really think you have a special talent for being in front of the camera & getting the point across to viewers.
If Ron Fellows joined DEI from the second half of 2003 to 2009, I believe that a few good things would've come out of it: 1. Ron Fellows would become a "jack of all trades" kind of driver and would eventually sharpen his oval racing skills, and would still be a talented road course racer. (Like AJ Allmendinger during his time in Kaulig Racing in the Cup and Xfinity Series [2021-Present]). However, he could've also been a Part-Time for Steve Park or Michael Waltrip on the road courses before possibly going Full-Time in 2005 or 2006, allowing DEI to stay in NASCAR until the end of the CoT Era. 2. Fellows wouldn't have to deal with the "open-wheel" invasion or the economic crisis at the same time, which would allow him to practice more. 3. Fellows could've helped multiple road course racers (Like Juan Pablo Montoya, Marcus Ambrose, Boris Said, and even current drivers like Alex Labbe and AJ Allmendinger) by teaching them during the "open-wheel" invasion and onwards. He could've taught them to look back on what he, as well as those he's teaching about the NASCAR experience to improve their skills, when transitioning from open-wheeled cars to stock cars. 4. Fellows could've brought some Canadian sponsorship and viewership to NASCAR and DEI, as well as further enhancing the popularity of the CASCAR Series.
Imagine playing hockey, living in the same city as Ron Fellows. Looking at the other team's bench, coach looks familiar. Wait, that's Ron Fellows as the coach.
In '03 (I think) at Sonoma, I remember him getting spun in the hairpin heading to a caution flag; note that at that time there was a gentlemen's agreement not to race back. He was otherwise on track for a much better finish and ...maybe... even a win with a bit of luck.
Oof. But yea, it’s crazy that he was so up and down with his yearly runs, especially in Cup. Could start off great and then falter in some form. Could also never be considered a factor early, then he comes outta complete nowhere towards the end.
Huh, weird that Ron would collect gills like that. You’d think he’d like to keep the whole fish as a trophy and not just the gills All jokes aside I love your videos! Keep up the amazing work brother!
he'd finish second at texas at some point, and not sure how mesa mrin got on his schedule or someof the other ovals unless he was just trying out roval racing to think about going full time in nascar. i meanmesa is a fun track on video games, but it's not really a nascar track for long i mean his race there was one of the last they'd hold because of their pit road and not getting big enough purses.
Robbie Gordon wasn't the real winner he didn't keep pace with the pace car which Marcus did the same thing in a cup race at Watkins Glen and cost him a cup win

I miss the phrase , Double Dippers. When a ringer would race the xfinity then the cup road coarse race.
i think the reason he was in the 7 was the 87 was part time didn't have enough points. and something broke in qualifying.
Winning at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, was Ron Fellow’s Daytona 500 or Indy 500 win.
Pretty much! Always nice to look back on.
Dude, he won the Le Mans 24hr three times lol

Ron Fellows was set for 2002 in a 4th DEI car
Ron Fellows is my uncle, I'm not even joking
