Thank you for the demo. I still have a question though. If we're essentially just reversing the signs then why wouldn't the first number in the question change as well? For example: 5- (-9) = -5 + 9 or the other problem, -3-20 = 3+20 Anyone have thoughts on this? I just don't understand why the first number wouldn't change as well?
It technically doesnt ever change, since he is using KCC, keep change change. You keep the first number, and if the addition/subtraction sign is a - sign, turn it into a + sign then if a number is -1 change it into 1, and if its 1 change it into -1. thats what i learned, sorry if anything is wrong!
