+Pavel201 Do people really find this still funny? I mean.. it was almost a year and its not THAT good of a joke. Im starting to feel worried about future of mankind here.
Fantastic Review! stuff you did not hear from all the rest who received the knives early June and rushed to be the first to glorify it...:-) As a collector I already purchased the 51 in TPE and it's predecessor the 36 mainly because the story behind them. I liked how fast Schrade reacted to public opinion and made some mods to the 36, Kudos to them! Blade thickness is just in keeping with the Becker trend setters BK2/7 :-) want a slimmer blade go with the 42D, it too has a similar story behind it. Cheers BB
Interesting enough I will probably never buy a weapon that you will ever showcase even though I would like to but I still love watching your weapon videos. (Knifes, swords, axes, bows, crossbows, guns etc). Simple because my fiancé doesn't feel to safe having them at home which is totally fine and she has her reasons. But I still enjoy all this even the reviews.
Great review, I love the attention to detail! I only own folding knives and was looking to get my first fixed blade for hard use. This seems like a pretty descent one especially for the price.
Oh nice, I was looking at the black handled one. I noticed the ones online I am looking at have the jimping on the bottom as well whereas yours do not. Odd.
Hey Skall, I had an idea for a video that would interest me and possibly other people, large historical weapons (Zweihanders and what not) Just seeing as there are so many horribly inaccurate depictions of large weapons it would be fun to compare it to how large weapons were actually used. Anyway, enjoy your content, have a great day!
For a Canadian buyer, the SCHF37 is probably a better option. Looks like the same sheath and accessories, a near identical blade to the SCHF52 with a slightly different style of grip (Same materials available - micarta and the TPE). To get one of these, I was looking at about $125 after shipping, tax on the border and converting to Canadian dollars. The SCHF37 can get to my door for about $57. Both prices are from Amazon, so I'm not comparing between vastly different sources.
I just got the 52 and its a beast of a blade, honestly I think the length adds to the use as you showed in your video. For going through brush and taking off limbs its work horse, I think the smaller version is in direct competition with Bekers BK2, a sturdy short pribar with an edge that won't break. The choil is weird why so big????? Yet perfect on the smaller one.
i wish i had seen this before i bought my first field knife. i ended up with the kay-bar USMC short. which is a great little knife until you have to do prolonged work and then the only shaped handle tears the skin of your thumb and forefinger.
+Skallagrim would it be possible to a video on the ideal multi-blade folding knife (e.g. swiss army knife)for EDC, and if possible could you review a knife that complies with UK law? (that is, the largest blade does not exceed 3.1 inches)
Skallagrim I don't know if you read your comments but if you do... Do you have a video on a very good quality scimitar/kilij? Not the one where the blade was literally shaking but one where it is good quality steel. If not can you maybe make a vid on one that's as good quality as maybe stuff like Dark Sword Armoury's products?
+Lionheart I reviewed one not long ago. th-cam.com/video/UyNaXEO8YAU/w-d-xo.html Overall there is a serious lack of high quality scimitar / shamshir / kilij reproductions on the market.
+Hendlton The Trail Blazer cuts a lot better and holds an edge longer. It will probably also last even longer as far as long-term durability is concerned.
+Hendlton The thing is material quality in knives takes a price jump, you'd rack up way more used $50 knives in your shed compared to the more expensive knives. I would buy the higher quality knives if I was camping 4 days a week.
+Resanctify The Becker BK-9 and Bk-10 from KA-BAR are around $80, and are of exceptional quality from a tried and true company that really knows what they're doing.
The short one reminds me of the becker bk2, and the idea behind it is to have a knife that's relatively good at everything, though does not excels at anything
What's up with spears having metal handles in fiction, I haven't seen any historical examples of it and I am sure it would make it a pain to repair and add a lot of weight to it; and I am sure you have commented on it before; forgot the video.
What is up bro. I am sorry to say that I recently purchased one of the schf 52's as my go-to survival knife and after light use while but awning and shopping white pine with knots in it I discovered that the blade grind had completely bent to a 90 degree angle upon further use before I even reached the knots I will not be buying this again as it is a clear sign that the heat treatment on this knife was poor
I guess Gru decided to take a break from villainy and review knives :) In all seriousness, I think you got it backwards in your pros and cons section in the description. You wrote that the SCHF51 is the one with the most practical design and the SCHF52 is the smaller of the two knives.
These knives are laser cut and stock removed to shape and sharpen correct? Would you say these are a lower quality than a hammer forged knife? You spent a lot of time on the aesthetic value of these knives, would hammer marks add to, or take away from that value?
Skall, have you considered reviewing the ZT Felon? I'm quite interested in it but noone has done any actual tests and reqiews on it, the most I got was a fat man swinging it around through air like an idiot haha
skall if possible could you review the KA BAR Big brother or the KA BAR warthog? I'd send you one but I have trouble receiving them from my local knife store.
This is rather off-topic but I don't suppose you would ever get a hold of a Katar? Assuming it's legal of course, I know they're illegal where I live unfortunately.
I know pocketknives aren't your thing but have you tried the Mercator K55K? I'm attracted to its slim profile but am cautious to how it feels in the hand, don't see it as the easiest knife to grip.
+paradiceislost9 I have owned that knife for while now, and it's fine as a low-profile EDC. About the handling: Well, if you choke up on it, so much that your index finger presses against the small guard, that well be uncomfortable during use. That's because as the guard is not one solid piece of steel but two times a sheet, with the corners not being rounded too well. But if you keep your fingers in the middle of the handle, it will be fine for light to medium cutting tasks. Cutting hard wood is painful though, as you are in for the same experience as on the guard. If you wanted, you could sand the edges down yourself, but as the knife is coated in black, that wouldn't look that good. Other aspect which may be of concern for you: Edge retention is not that good, at least on the stainless steel version. I'd advice you to by the one sporting carbon steel, if you can live without high corrosion-resistance. The back lock is quite strong, you will need to have a strong thumb to get it to close. It will most likely develop blade play over time. The blade geometry is nice on the other hand. Still, I'd recommend it for you if you only want it for smaller cutting tasks and can get it 25,50$ like me or preferably even less.
+Kotha Elser Thank you so much for your lengthy response. It's mostly going to be used for box or twine cutting so it should be ok. I'm in Europe so it's probably going to cost a little more but that's the way things go.
Lol, I actually used a money converter to change Euro into Dollars just for you ;) Don't you worry, Otter is the current manufacturer for the Mercator, a German Company. Used to be Kaufman, another Solingen brand, but oh well, they went bankrupt and now the model is made elsewhere. Anyways, you shouldn't have to pay more than 30 Euro for it.
Yeah looking online it seems cheaper on US sites, I was looking for something aesthetically well designed as well as being a decent knife and so far it seems to be the best of both worlds.
+Skallagrim I'm guessing the shorter one is thick as it is cause it's inspired partly by the KaBar Becker BK2 (a truly awful and useless knife IMHO). And I have to agree, such thickness and weight is unnecessary (to say the least) on such a short knife. The large one however seems quite good... I'm not a fan of hollow grinds on large blades, but this still seems strong enough, nice size and shape and very affordable... might give it a try.
Hello Skall, I've had a question on my mind for a while now, but haven't been able to find anyone capable of answering it. The original question is "Would the Twinblade from Dark Souls be a realistic weapon design? If so, who would wield it, and what would it be useful for combat-wise?" Thank you to Skall/anyone else who answers this question.
Pretty nice looking knives, however, it seems to resemble the Becker BK series of knives, including the sheath design. I'm not saying that one is necessarily a copy of the other just that there's a strong resemblance. It is nice, however, that the Schrades come with accessories. I have a Becker BK7 and it came with nothing but the knife and sheath.
+gajeel redfox I think he does, but I am not positive. Given the abuse tests he subjects them to, I'd imagine the reviewer probably lets him keep them, since I am not sure they could re-sell them at that point, anyway.
+Skallagrim Hey Skall, do you still use your WorkSharp on a regular basis? I've had the original one for like 4 years now, it's so damn good. The edges on secondary bevel knives it gives are insane, I highly recommend REMOVING the guard, and only sharpening on the SLACK side of the belt, by sharpening on the slack side then rotating the machine or moving around a table and sharpening the other side of a knife on the slack side on both sides you get a far more convex edge and you can adjust the angle to a more shallow angle (like 15 degrees), my edges can go from blunt to sharp enough to slice cleanly through tissue paper, kitchen towel, and newspaper or normal paper is just super easy. It's great for crappy grinds like on this Schrade, fixing a shitty grind by hand is hard but the little machine is really useful. :)
hey Skallagrim, I'm looking for two knives for a bug out bag, one long and the other short for under $75-100 combined. What would you suggest? I've wached a lot of your videos but I'm a little hesitant to commit. I was looking at the marbles parang for the long. What do you think?
+Andrew Attard primitiveprogression on ebay has great knives. 1095-D2 tool steels for around 50$. A small knife? Just get a mora classic, or if you're thinking of a folder- a case knife or an opinel
Could you please Show the knive in comparison to your hand in this direction▶️✋ because i'm from Germany and if the Blade is longer than my hand sideways my parents wont let me buy it
i think the short one is just there because in countries like germany you're only allowed to carry knifes that have a shorter blade than 15 cm. having a little version that's below 15 cm will give more sales.
+LATRONNIK yeah 12cm definitely (i'm familiar with the law) but it's just for the blade and only for fixed knives. so the knife length over all can be longer and if it's a folder the blade can exceed 12cm (there are some huge folders on the market with up to 15cm blade). but this law applies to carrying the knife in public places. if you're out in the woods by yourself noone will give a damn about your knife :D. just make sure that you put it back in your rucksack as soon as you return to civilization.
s0me1up the thing is it seems like a knife could come in handy now that there are terrorist attacks in germany. i'll maybe get me one that i can legally carry around.
Hi, I've found a sword that is a 12th Century Crusaders sword, made out of Spring steel with EN45 steel with a single tang and a leather grip for around $340 Canadian dollars, should I buy it? It's on the website King of swords and it's made by depeeka. It states that it's battle ready, so should I buy it? Thanks
what are your thoughts on the Becker knives (specifically the BK-7) worth getting? and would this blade be better just from a price to quality standpoint?
+TheElvenArcher The BK-7 is a great knife. Kabar is a good company with a solid name and reputation, and their knives generally are of great quality. I stripped the black coating of off mine and forced a patina on it, and gave the edge a mirror polish (6000 grit on a belt sharpener) and it's a freaking survival beast. It keeps its edge for a long time and it's as tough as nails. The only gripe i have with it, is that the texture of the handle scales is very slippy. You can get around this by adding sports griptape for tennis rackets, or just by pulling the handle scales off and sanding them with a coarse grit sand paper. Edit: The sheath that the BK7 comes with is a POS... Either make your own from Kydex, or buy one online if you cant make one yourself.
Pjieter Mjeijer I was asking because maybe he takes care of his hands since he shows close ups of them when talking about weapons. Unlike some people on youtube who show their hands close up and they are tore up and nasty.
hey Skall love your making some more knife reviews but I kinda feel like you filmed this on an off day. I don't know if it's true but sounded like you had to force yourself to do this review.
+Doug Allen I think it's just because he was doing this after having them for so long, so it's not the same sort of "hey I just got a new thing" enthusiasm, plus there weren't a whole lot of glaring points that needed to be addressed. I didn't have an issue with it, but I can see where that'd give it a different vibe
+BiohazardCrow blacksmiths still exist I personally know one, and know of a few others. they are just hard to find and some work gates and sculptures ect; rather than knives
tbh I thought at first that those knives had snake skin on the handles - and that's why I don't like this design very much, the TPE version is a lot better. :-/ As for the blade thickness on the shorter knives: I'd guess that Schrade simply stamps out the blades from the same steel plates to save material and money.
+ZachFilms Yeah, I was quite surprised to see that. Someone suggested that they might have done the cutout after heat treatment and were too aggressive with the grinding, which may have ruined the tempering. Seems possible.
Damn it must be getting pretty difficult to find room for all these knives, swords, and what ever other types of weapons you have xD Edit: Massive brain fart I forgot you moved to a larger place in Victoria.
It'd be extremely difficult to (even intentionally) break any quality 1095 knife over 3mm thick. If you are willing to carry a 5in 6mm-thick blade that weighs nearly a pound (!), you might as well carry two thinner knives that cut better and are nearly as (if not equally) indestructible. One might argue that the weight is for chopping, but again-a thinner, just as durable blade will be longer (i.e. better for chopping) for the same weight. A 6mm sharpened crowbar is absurd unless you're an elite superhuman Hulk commando in my opinion, but some people may be perfectly happy carrying one.
Anyone have any ideas for a good self defense knife? I'm going to college soon in a relatively large city with a high crime rate so I'd like to have something to deter would be assailants
+Mr. Zimbo S&W (taylor culery) _might_ have some decent knives, but those others are just pure garbage www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1322248-Mtech-knives
+Skallagrim united cutlery... so anything from BUDK? XD Sounds about right. I seem to be the only person who likes Mtechs. Im a begginer though and I am a sucker for a cool design. (to a point, they still need to be practical) I will admit though, Heavy use stay away from them but basic simple stuff many of their knives are hard to beat for the price, especially on a wholesale site. But I've been happy with the use I have gotten out of mine, and for the price....
Skall someone is banning commenters for having fun with a channel related meme, and I was hoping to share a video of yours with them in response. The pair of videos where first you explain that you are banning 'end him rightly' commenters, and then you come back and apologize. I examined the titles of all of your videos in the past 11 months (when the original pomel throwing video came out) and I cannot find the apology video to share it. I was hoping if you see this and the video still exists (maybe unlisted or private?) that you could reopen it (or help me find it if my double check was not good enough) and share the link.
+Andrew Brown I guess it's this one you mean? th-cam.com/video/HgOh2npHuyU/w-d-xo.html It's still public actually. And who is banning commenters for memes? I wasn't doing that, and nobody else should be able to.
+Andrew Brown Honestly I'm fairly sure you misremember. I occasionally mentioned that I think a lot of people were spamming the pommel throwing comments without any creativity, but that's it. And sometimes a pommel joke can actually be pretty funny. It normally isn't on my mind, so I was surprised by your comment.
One of the better done reviews.......
No throwable pommel?
+Pavel201 they don't know what a real knife need
+Pavel201 I think this knife IS a throwable pommel.
Omg, what have I done, don't do it, Skall, the world can only take so much awesome! O.O
+Pavel201 I was really hoping I'd be able to end my opponent rightly.
+Pavel201 Do people really find this still funny? I mean.. it was almost a year and its not THAT good of a joke.
Im starting to feel worried about future of mankind here.
Tenshi Heads up Tenshi. I sense some pommels coming your way.
And by the Way you are one of my favorit youtubers... Keep going!!

Look at that chopping speed by Skall! Sign of a veteran knife user.
Schrade make an incredibly nice looking knife
+Jake Driver where do the company comes from ?

Just bought one on Amazon $46 shipped with Prime. Can't wait.
And it's pined to my "DOES WANT" Album. Thanks for the review :)
Oh nice, I was looking at the black handled one.

Out of the 10xx steels like 1084 or 1075, 1095 is actually very easy to mess up the heat treating. When done right I do agree it is a good steel.
Were you talking about Tac's review of the Ka-Bar Potbelly in your irony statement?
I usually hate hollow grinds but that thing looked sturdy.
I'm more of a saber/convex kinda person myself... Sometimes chisel.
For a Canadian buyer, the SCHF37 is probably a better option. Looks like the same sheath and accessories, a near identical blade to the SCHF52 with a slightly different style of grip (Same materials available - micarta and the TPE). Both prices are from Amazon, so I'm not comparing between vastly different sources.
Are you aware of the Gough Custom knives? They seem very well made, I'd like to see a review of them
Schrade usually makes a good product.
to fix the sharp angle on the micarta use some 1000 grit sandpaper to your liking
Looks like it performs well for $50. Time to go take a look the catalog.
looks pretty good, I've been searching for a knife like that to take out when I go camping.
Nice Skall. first knife review in a while. Busy with stuff lately?
Sorry for nitpicking but in the Pros/Cons section of the description you have the SCHF52 as the shorter version.
Yet perfect on the smaller one.
your video quality looks great, new camera
Do you ever sell anything? Just a thought I had :) Love the videos! Thanks a bunch
If I were to throw this knife in a way it would hit someone with the bottom end, could that be considered a pommel throw?
+Joao Gomes If you throw a knife handling it by the grip you're throwing the blade. To be a pommel throw, handle it by the blade !
Dear Castiel Half-knifing? Sounds promising.
i wish i had seen this before i bought my first field knife. i ended up with the kay-bar USMC short. which is a great little knife until you have to do prolonged work and then the only shaped handle tears the skin of your thumb and forefinger.
skall, do you have a video explaining how to maintain a sword? If not, do you think it could be useful?
+Vitor Pereira dos Santos
Yes, and you could have found it by using the search on my channel page. :) th-cam.com/video/l_6uGbsjMvs/w-d-xo.html
+Skallagrim Ah the days seemed gone when you would rant about the damn search bar xD
+Alucard Hellsing sometimes obvious solutions do not show up at first. Sometimes it is just stupidity haha. I really could have searched....
Vitor Pereira dos Santos I was just joking because Skall would rant and rant and rant about that damn search bar
+Skallagrim would it be possible to a video on the ideal multi-blade folding knife (e.g. swiss army knife)for EDC, and if possible could you review a knife that complies with UK law? (that is, the largest blade does not exceed 3.1 inches)

+lothar13PL
I already did that 4 months ago. th-cam.com/video/eToVS3ST4WU/w-d-xo.html
ohh.... Sorry, i find out about that trailer like 2 weeks ago
Any chance of a giveaway of one or two of the extra knives?

+Skallagrim Oh well thats a shame. Thanks anyways man!
that made me wanna go play PZ for some reason, i just got to my 1st 'safe place' with an axe and a bunch of tinned goods :)
nice review sir, very nice. if I was in the market for a fiddy dollar niphe, I would pick one up.
Schrade always did make decent knives
What's the difference between this and the Trail Blazer? Why spend 380-500$ on a knife when a 50$ knife can do just as well?
+Hendlton
The Trail Blazer cuts a lot better and holds an edge longer. It will probably also last even longer as far as long-term durability is concerned.
+Hendlton if you are not a hardcore user, Not much...
+Hendlton A technical answer: The steel.
+Hendlton The thing is material quality in knives takes a price jump, you'd rack up way more used $50 knives in your shed compared to the more expensive knives. I would buy the higher quality knives if I was camping 4 days a week.

Has Skall ever reviewed a swiss army knife? - I want one for christmas!
It would be awesome if you cloud do a review in a few of the warhammer 40k weapons like the chainsword.
The short one reminds me of the becker bk2, and the idea behind it is to have a knife that's relatively good at everything, though does not excels at anything
Cool video! :) I think you would enjoy reviewing traditional Finnish knives. Varusteleka is a company which sells them. Just a thought. :)
Can you review Mora Knives? Or at least say whats your opinion on them? Thanks great video.
hello, i have a question for you, i'm a big fan of scythes in games and series, now how they could be in a battle?
skalgrim do you have any reviews on codpeices it would be halarious just as a funny viedo.

Any chance on Ka-Bar USMC or Steel Will Cager 1410 review?
Hey skall, how would you compare the SCHF52 to the SCHF28 that you've reviewed as well in terms of sharpness, edge retention and grip?
I'm looking to buy a karambit knife online for around $50-$60. Where could I go for a good selection in that price range?
Hello Skall, I've had a question on my mind for a while now, but haven't been able to find anyone capable of answering it. The original question is "Would the Twinblade from Dark Souls be a realistic weapon design? If so, who would wield it, and what would it be useful for combat-wise?" Thank you to Skall/anyone else who answers this question.
can you do a review on the fighting style, realism and weapons from the series: vikings, from your point of view
Pretty nice looking knives, however, it seems to resemble the Becker BK series of knives, including the sheath design. I'm not saying that one is necessarily a copy of the other just that there's a strong resemblance. It is nice, however, that the Schrades come with accessories. I have a Becker BK7 and it came with nothing but the knife and sheath.
do you get to keep the once you get for revieuws bc that would be awesome.
+gajeel redfox I think he does, but I am not positive. Given the abuse tests he subjects them to, I'd imagine the reviewer probably lets him keep them, since I am not sure they could re-sell them at that point, anyway.
+gajeel redfox They're made in China, so they're not really worth the cost of shipping them back.
+gajeel redfox
It depends on who sent it and what it is. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
I don't think I could complain at that price. The larger knives are quite nice imo.
hey Skallagrim, I'm looking for two knives for a bug out bag, one long and the other short for under $75-100 combined. What would you suggest? I've wached a lot of your videos but I'm a little hesitant to commit. I was looking at the marbles parang for the long. What do you think?
+Andrew Attard a vintorinox and a coldsteel srk is a good start
Thanks. I'll check them out.
+Andrew Attard primitiveprogression on ebay has great knives. 1095-D2 tool steels for around 50$. A small knife? Just get a mora classic, or if you're thinking of a folder- a case knife or an opinel
this micarta is very nice:) meabe i'll make similar to my next knife. black finish isn't hard - "ice patine" is much better ;)
Should i go with the short or the long version?
Could you please Show the knive in comparison to your hand in this direction▶️✋ because i'm from Germany and if the Blade is longer than my hand sideways my parents wont let me buy it
Are these any good for hunting?
i think the short one is just there because in countries like germany you're only allowed to carry knifes that have a shorter blade than 15 cm. having a little version that's below 15 cm will give more sales.
+LATRONNIK
I have no problem with a short knife, I just think that this one is too thick and heavy and doesn't cut well enough for its size.
***** so short, really? i thought the number was 15 haha
Maybe the 51 is thick so that you can throw it, idk why throwing would be important but its just an idea
Any Kershaws mentioned?
Hi, I've found a sword that is a 12th Century Crusaders sword, made out of Spring steel with EN45 steel with a single tang and a leather grip for around $340 Canadian dollars, should I buy it? It's on the website King of swords and it's made by depeeka. It states that it's battle ready, so should I buy it? Thanks
Skall: There was a guy selling three seaxes on Myarmoury the other day. Do you own a seax? If not, are you planning on purchasing one?
+RegurgitatedNews
No, the seax has never really interested me.
you should make a review of m9 and m16 bayonets pls c:
what are your thoughts on the Becker knives (specifically the BK-7) worth getting? and would this blade be better just from a price to quality standpoint?
+TheElvenArcher
The BK-7 is a great knife.
Edit:
The sheath that the BK7 comes with is a POS...
Either make your own from Kydex, or buy one online if you cant make one yourself.
ok how about i comparison with this knife?
+TheElvenArcher
I haven't tried any Becker knives so far.
Whats the most effective weapon against plate armor
nice design, good ergonomics, poor heat treatment so i don't know if its worth buying
You have beautiful hands, do you do something to take care of them, or they just like that?
+Athalia not sure if this is a serious question
+Pjieter Mjeijer Beautiful hands are actually a thing, so I think that's a serious question.
Elodin this is a weapon showcase channel....
Pjieter Mjeijer I was asking because maybe he takes care of his hands since he shows close ups of them when talking about weapons. Unlike some people on youtube who show their hands close up and they are tore up and nasty.
Athalia okay
Seems like you could just put a better edge on that $50 knife and have a nice keeper. Seems like it would take a long time to beat that thing up.
hey Skall love your making some more knife reviews but I kinda feel like you filmed this on an off day.
+Arrowdodger ya it's not a big deal. Just been watching his channel for a long time so I noticed a difference is all.
are they made in china/ Taiwan
Wish it came with a better sheath
Pitty that there is no more blacksmiths and we have to buy this pre-made knifes from factorys. By the way Skall have you ever made your own weapon?
+BiohazardCrow blacksmiths still exist I personally know one, and know of a few others. they are just hard to find and some work gates and sculptures ect; rather than knives
look up michaelcthuhlu
tbh I thought at first that those knives had snake skin on the handles - and that's why I don't like this design very much, the TPE version is a lot better. :-/
As for the blade thickness on the shorter knives: I'd guess that Schrade simply stamps out the blades from the same steel plates to save material and money.
Tactical didn't go too much out of his way in breaking that Kabar.
+ZachFilms
Yeah, I was quite surprised to see that. Someone suggested that they might have done the cutout after heat treatment and were too aggressive with the grinding, which may have ruined the tempering. Seems possible.
***** That would do it, but I'd expect more out of Ka-Bar, wouldn't you?
Damn it must be getting pretty difficult to find room for all these knives, swords, and what ever other types of weapons you have xD
Edit: Massive brain fart I forgot you moved to a larger place in Victoria.
Use a toothbrush to vlean the handle if you're particular.
We need to give Skall a small loan of a million dollars.
'small'
+Friendly Darkwraith 2.5 dollars per wiewer roughly
Anyone have any ideas for a good self defense knife? I'm going to college soon in a relatively large city with a high crime rate so I'd like to have something to deter would be assailants
does anybody know where to buy twin swords or two short swords for around 400 dollars for both swords?
"That's what she said."
The over all finish of the blades does not seem to be the most sturdy thing, more of a paint then a secondary material baked or applied to the metal.
brand of knives I should definitely stay away from? I'm looking to buy my first tactical knife.
+Ruben Zimbo
I'd say United Cutlery, Mtech, S&W.
Awesome. Thanks for the reply!
+Mr. Zimbo
S&W (taylor culery) _might_ have some decent knives, but those others are just pure garbage
www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1322248-Mtech-knives
+Skallagrim
united cutlery... so anything from BUDK? XD Sounds about right.
I seem to be the only person who likes Mtechs. Im a begginer though and I am a sucker for a cool design. (to a point, they still need to be practical) I will admit though, Heavy use stay away from them but basic simple stuff many of their knives are hard to beat for the price, especially on a wholesale site.
But I've been happy with the use I have gotten out of mine, and for the price....
short one looks like big boss' knife in the phantom pain
Skall someone is banning commenters for having fun with a channel related meme, and I was hoping to share a video of yours with them in response. The pair of videos where first you explain that you are banning 'end him rightly' commenters, and then you come back and apologize.
I examined the titles of all of your videos in the past 11 months (when the original pomel throwing video came out) and I cannot find the apology video to share it.
I was hoping if you see this and the video still exists (maybe unlisted or private?) that you could reopen it (or help me find it if my double check was not good enough) and share the link.
+Andrew Brown
I guess it's this one you mean? th-cam.com/video/HgOh2npHuyU/w-d-xo.html
It's still public actually. And who is banning commenters for memes? I wasn't doing that, and nobody else should be able to.
+Andrew Brown
Honestly I'm fairly sure you misremember. I occasionally mentioned that I think a lot of people were spamming the pommel throwing comments without any creativity, but that's it. And sometimes a pommel joke can actually be pretty funny.
It normally isn't on my mind, so I was surprised by your comment.
