    I have used tung oil on my lath work for years and I find it very good I have often recoated the bowls or platters a year or so later..

    Have you tried Walnut oil? I love it, it polymerases and no heavy metals. Thanks for the video.

    Most experts say to wait a week between coats of pure tung oil and a month to cure.
    Also, you risk contamination of your oil can by dipping the towel into it repeatedly. Better to pour some in a container or directly into the bowl.
    Otherwise I liked it!
