    Your description of becoming saviors on Mount Zion was a beautiful masterpiece. I love the way your heart and mind work. You are a dear brother and I love you very much! Thank you!

    Much of the reason our church and Community of Christ have begun cooperating more is that our Stake President, Dennis Cato, used to be a part of them before his conversion, come 30 years ago. He knew all their leadership & began reaching out to unite all believers in the Book of Mormon. I was a member of the High Council when he began the process 9 years ago.

    I am so grateful to you because you make room for the Lord, and I learn so much listening to you. You are my ‘cooking partner’…I listen to you as a batch bake and cook.😊 Thank you for your clear explanations and insights.

    I'm getting so depressed that I cry every day upon hearing about the condition of our young people and the stuff that is going on. I love your lessons. I'm having trouble because I'm 78 and it's hard to take the things in society.

    Thanks again bro! I see the Israelites in Zion too, I want to do better. When I was a little kid learning the Old testament I swore to myself that I would be a person who listened to the prophets and follow them and not make repeated mistakes. I've always tried to live up to that standard and when I messed up, I'd clean ir up and fly right!

    Thank you, Brother Jared. I love your explanation of the last verse of Obadiah and becoming saviors on mount Zion. I've understood that service for a long time and was reminded by your perspective of why I do what I do in T and FH work and Temple service. Thank you for the boost!

    I had an awesome seminary teacher for Old Testament year, so I actually was looking forward to this year learning from you. Not disappointed at all! Sometimes feels a little like being back in his classroom, only better!

    This was so good, your story of the man changing his tire in a down pour of rain touched my soul.
    I am grateful you and your companion helped push cats out of the puddle, that’s what we need to do, help push or lift up those around us with simple and sincere kindness.

    My mom, born in 1910, used to say" there is nothing new under the sun". I didnt realize then she was quoting from the bible. She was right i have come to learn. We make the same mistakes today as people back then. Im thankful we can repent and because of Jesus, try again.

    Obadiah 's lesson of healing family ties is a painful reminder of the Edomites in my own family and the damage they have caused for years. How I wish their hearts understood the effects of their choices. We could have so much together, and the choose Pride and division. I am grateful for the Lird who is still my captain through these painful waters. Once day, there will be a healing.

    Through the House of David, God Himself will raise it up, He will raise the fallen tabernacle of David. The gates of hell will not prevail against my church, Matt 16:18. Jesus Christ died so He could gather together the children of God that were scattered, He gave His life for us, and salvation was restored.

    You realize after some time, that the scriptures are simply an endless cycle of those keeping covenants warning those breaking covenants who are then punished by Heavenly Father for doing so.

    I think it was your daughter doing it. Where can I find those???

    • @irisalton8372
      @irisalton8372 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think "the clips" refers to the timestamps found under "More" in the blue box--they break the lesson down into smaller bites and people can always come back to where they left off without missing anything.

    Amos 5:18-24
    The Day of the Yahweh
    18 Woe to you who long
    for the day of the Yahweh!
    Why do you long for the day of the Yahweh?
    That day will be darkness, not light.
    19 It will be as though a man fled from a lion
    only to meet a bear,
    as though he entered his house
    and rested his hand on the wall only to have a snake bite him.
    20 Will not the day of the Yahweh be darkness, not light-
    pitch-dark, without a ray of brightness?
    21 “I hate, I despise your religious festivals;
    your assemblies are a stench to me.
    22 Even though you bring me burnt offerings and grain offerings,
    I will not accept them.
    Though you bring choice fellowship offerings,
    I will have no regard for them.
    23 Away with the noise of your songs!
    I will not listen to the music of your harps.
    24 But let justice roll on like a river,
    righteousness like a never-failing stream!
