I've read about these yachts. Their hull design is based upon German WW2 Schnellboot technology... the Allies referred to them as E-Boats. Absolutely beautiful to watch them slice through the water.

The yacht in question is c@sea, a Riva Dolcevita 110, and is specified to be propelled by two MTU 16V 2000 M96L Diesel engines with 2638 HP. Of course there is the slight possibility the owner could have outfitted it after-market with an electric/hybrid system, but since the build year was 2022 I doubt anyone would have rehauled the expensive drive unit completely after just one year.

Just as we get really close the fisherman finally is rowing for all he's worth, just clearing us in time. As soon as we're past him he rows right back out there. There's another ship, some distance away but getting closer. "Rinse and repeat". 😂
That's a channel entrance at a river. You're typically allowed to plane through them in the US and probably in France too. It's dangerous to go slow on many of them.

I’m a lineman. I was on storm. Hurricane Florence. For a month. I come home from working 16-18 hours, 7 days a week for 5 weeks straight to find out not only do I have a warrant for my arrest but that’s not enough the hateful wicked witch at the dept of ss suspended my commercial drivers license causing me to almost lose my job and eventually I did. See in my state. NC IF YOU OWE ANYTHING they can or could at the time idk about now, revoke your license. So I miss a week of work turning my self in and then posting the fines and fees. Then have to go to dmv to post something like a $150-200 “reinstatement fee”. And if that’s not bad enough I was also put in mobile patrol on the dead beat dad list even tho I pay over $1000 a month in child support for one child not including alimony and other expenses. So next time you gals wanna talk about privilege Remember. You don’t have a clue the hell and the oppression and inequality we as men and fathers face. He’ll you guys get to vote and own land you’ve never been made to even fight for. And STILL Don’t have to sign for draft or military conscription. For men that’s a felony charge and fine of up to something like $100,000+ and can never work in government plus other shit n all along the way if we open our mouths about this oppression we are called racist or mocked or called chauvinist or told that we deserve it…. Men are not going to allow this for long. Fair warning. When we’ve had enough all your words will fall on deaf ears and be at the end of hot battles shitting lead. We are bearing down on him, I keep reporting the rapidly diminishing distance. I remark to an officer near me, "if he doesn't move he'll get plowed!"
Just as we get really close the fisherman finally is rowing for all he's worth, just clearing us in time. As soon as we're past him he rows right back out there. There's another ship, some distance away but getting closer. "Rinse and repeat". 😂
