- Scenic mountain drive on I-5 through northern California. We begin near the Oregon state line and head south on I-5 through the Klamath River Recreation Area and Shasta National Forest on our way to Redding, California.

Hello, as a small tip make but in the videos where you are driving, a map with purely. So that the route can be followed or it can be tracked on Google maps.

I enjoyed this one several days ago but didn't leave a comment. Great memories; I lived in Chico (70 miles south of Redding) for some years and went up to the Shasta-Trinity region a lot. Seeing Mt. Shasta again was like coming home. Too bad you couldn't get your side camera angled to show your viewers the incredible Castle Crags between Dunsmuir and Castella.
Then when you got to Lake Shasta, I was gratified to see that it was entirely full again. Hubby and I still have fond memories of spending 3 days on a chartered houseboat there in 1991.
Thanks again and am about to do the Klamath Falls to Crater Lake binge watch (another section with fond memories).
