One of my favourite pieces of music. I love the orchestral version conducted by Crudele. But this one here on guitar enters straight away among my loved ones too. Touching and wonderful. Absolutely great.
I just heard a variation of this piece for the classical guitar on another video. This version on this video sounds the best, and the one I memorized. Having heard this 35 years ago, I knew I had to get the sheet music for "Pavane pour une infante défunte ." My mistake, the version I memorized by (Arranged for Guitar by Julian Bream). This version is also very good.
Big Ravel fan here. This is perfection: playing, ambience, lighting, camerawork, editing. It's rare to have all these elements all so well brought together. BRILLIANT JOB.

Décidément cette pièce aime être arrangée en sol pour la guitare. Quelle beauté. Mais sans le cœur et l’Equilibre de l’interprète elle ne reviendrait pas à la vie. Alors bravo bien sûr mais surtout merci parce que c’était directement du cœur à cœur. Et la beauté des images y est aussi pour quelque chose.… il y a quelquechose de spirituel dans tout çà…
