I interned at the studio in North Brookfield, MA -- it's called Long View Farm Studio. A lot of legendary 90's rock records came out of there. I remember seeing pictures of Snot, Sevendust, Living Colour, and so many more on the walls. Sevendust was one of my favorite bands growing up and it was amazing to work in the same room.
One of the greatest drummers in the scene. It’s ridiculous how Morgan is not talked about more with that. His solo EP was sic also dudes vocals are great. We’re use to his Crow Vox but dude can sing awesome! His drumming on Call Me No One, again just ridiculous. Luv Morgan, good people 🤘
I seen these guys like 5 times lol. They always happened to be at festivals i went to in the summer. They busted their ASSES on tour, i can attest lol.
I remember hearing Sevendust back in Highschool and they had already been out for awhile but hearing black and bitch I was like holy shit these guys are badass who are these guys and I've been a fan since
Love 7D and Home. Prefer self titled though, it's my favourite. Second and third swap between Home and Animosity. Fourth is Black Out the Sun and fifth for my top five is probably Alpha. Also lol at dude not remembering he wrote certain riffs 😭😂
In one of my drum magazines from way back in the day I remember reading Morgan saying Toby Wright rode his ass in the studio. Just hammering him take after take. As a drummer, i've been there, and it can be rough if you don't have thick skin and other ideas drum wise. That's what separates the men from the boys.
Sevendust are always good for a pump. They are insanely energetic. Morgan rose made me love this band.
Me too!!💯
Home was the dopest album ever
is.....
I love you Morgan Rose, you are one of the greatest percussionists in history, so underrated bro. Sevendust are incredible!!
I remember the first time I heard Black on the radio. I was totally hooked on their sound.
Same. That track changed my life and got me into metal
Will carter check out Sevendust live and loud on you tube
Sevendust live and loud

I hope more members of sevendust come on here. It would be so sick to get some 311 dudes on here. PNut!

What a champ!
Great podcast man, finally someone who lets the guest SPEAK!
Man....sucks to see these rock stars getting old.
Every time I've seen sevendust , Lejon had sung so loud he blows out the speakers
It does but the alternative to that is them dying, so I’d rather see them get old
Means you’re getting old too
@@Riichr it beats the alternative ....
bro hold up. They wrote Home in Mass? Like whattttt I'm from Boston. That's awesome.
Hear ya man. Born in Boston, raised on the Cape. 7dust forever.
So glad I’ve found your podcast.

I close my eyes, and hear Robb Flynn talking instead of Morgan Rose
Was about to say he sounds nothing like him but he just said "You know..." and I kinda heard it 🤣 But not much.
Drugs are not cool.. even if they try to make it out to be.
ATL REPRESENT
Licking cream is a tune off that album
