Dom's Sketch Cast Hahaha! Bruh, I had to pull that shit together last minute, but luckily being such a nerd I already had shit I wanted to know for myself. The fact that you guys enjoyed it, too, was just a kicker.

Myke C-Town I was really happy that you asked about Last Hazzah. That verse is one of my favorites of all time. Just make sure you ask about Despot's album next time!
Great interview! Can't wait for the review.

Marsman1337 Nah I've learned from other interviewers that he's not fond of that question. Since he doesn't do Def Jux anymore he has no real control over when Despot drops his album.

As a dude who spent some of his teenage years listening to El-P and the Def Jux camp, I kind of went another direction towards rock and jazz music as I got older (trying to get closer to the beats that I liked alot). And, I think a lost a little faith in how appealing Hip Hop could be along the way. Run The Jewels has brought back that faith to me and I'm trying to listen to more hip hop as I'm already listening to this new record like crazy XD

I = producto, or even just P. This makes sense because the first title in each name can be disregarded, and alphabetical order would still remain, like so:
    big Juss
    mr Len
    el Producto or el P
    J, L, P are in alphabetical order.

Finally saw RTJ in Detroit last night, show almost didn't happen with their bus breaking and flight being delayed and Despot and Ratking canceling, Danny Brown and Bruiser Brigade stepped in to make sure the show went on and it was NUTS

forever craving an El-P and Earl Sweatshirt track

I'm a middle-aged rock /metal fan from New Zealand; I dabble in Hip Hop, but don't pretend to know anything more than what I like. Del, El-P, Company Flow, ODB, Beastie Boys, NWA, Cypress Hill, a few of the classics (I'm old enough to remember when Paid in Full came out...)
I got into Hip Hop courtesy of Del's track with Dinosaur Jnr on the Judgement Night soundtrack, Missing Link, to this day one of my favourite songs, regardless of genre. And through Del, I got clued in to El-P.
I literally remember the first time I heard El-P, on Del's track _'Offspring.'_ Dude sounded feral, I was thrilled!
*_UP JUMPS OUTKAST, SEVER THE CONNECTION_*
PS: I could bore you silly with some of the references I've unearthed in esp. Del's stuff (like for e.g. Deltron 3030: a Code 33 drop if ever I saw one ;p)
