Hi! Make sure that the width of your fabric is 60". Divide 37" by 2, it is equal to 18 .5". The number of pleats are 9 counts and the width of the folds are 4". Start from your right (facing the fabric) put 1" allowance for the zipper, then start marking 4" for the first fold then 2.1" for the first pleat, then repeat 5 times, so the total pleats for the first 5 is 10.5", then use 2" width of pleats for the remaining 4 pleats to make 8". If would add 10.5" to 8", now you'ld get 18.5" for the front. Do the same on the back part. All the measurements your folds are 4" and the seam allowances for the sides are 1" for the zipper & pocket. No need to use hip measurement. I hope it helps. Thank you!

Hi! Yung magiging sukat ng pleats, 5x na 1.9" and 2x na 2". Kasi waist is 27" ÷ 2 = 13.5", kaya 1.9" × 5 = 9.5" then 2" × 2 = 4", iadd mo yang 9.5" + 4" = 13.5" ang lalabas sa front lang yan, uulitin mo lang sa back kaya pagpinagsama mo ang 13.5" × 2 = 27". Sana nakatulong

Hi! No Mam you can use 3", 3 1/2", 4", 4 1/2" and 5" depending on the esist measurement. The bigger the waist size, the narrow the pleats so that it will fit to the size of a 60" width of fabric. Yhank you!
