Hey man....This is a really good video....easy to follow, right to the point, I changed out mine (The metal side post piece where you put the wrench was so worn down as it was the factory original on an old truck and couldn't get a wrench to grab anymore so it wouldn't tighten, I almost thought I would have to replace the whole wire but instead was able to swap the old part with a brand new one without having to replace the whole wire assembly....Much faster and easier to change the metal sidepost than to replace the whole cable! Only took a couple minutes and now I can put a wrench on it and tighten it down all for the price of the part and literally probably took me less than 3 minutes to do the swap and hook up the battery! You mentioned you are going to be looking into finding the source of a drain, I'm having a drain issue myself, the truck is older and usually I just keep the battery disconnected when I'm not driving it so your other video you mentioned sounds like that might be helpful as well....This was a great video, told and showed what to do, stayed right on point, helpful...A lot of similar videos they drag it on and on with a bunch of talking like they are just doing videos for attention like they are some comedian looking for stardom or something....I like videos that tell, show what to do without a bunch of filler stuff.
Thanks.! I love simple and this technique is sure enough simple.! You mentioned battery drain. I'm eliminating my battery drain with a remote battery disconnect switch from ZOZO Motors. Part Number 30248 bought on Amazon for less than $40 bucks. Already spent over $150 for a mechanic to find the drain to no avail. Now I've got another remote switch I'm going to just leave somewhere in the car. Again, thank you for your simple fix I couldn't figure out.
Thank you. Much easier that using vise grips to remove the old bolt. Some mechanic replaced the negative post bolt with one so short that I can't get jumper cables or a jump pack on it. Thanks for the warning about over tightening, heh.
2:04 OVER TIGHTENED........cut the camera ....Take 2,action! 2:08 OVER TIGHTENED AGAIN.....cut dammit, just close it & tell the viewers to do it carefully! 2:09 Jus be careful like i did......cut, NOT LIKE YOU DID......... .....WTF!!!!!

Glad I can make the mistake so you don’t have to!
How did u fix the leak?
How do you go about removing
10 seconds with a heat gun and they come out by hand
2:04 OVER TIGHTENED........cut the camera

Also makes it much easier to to attach jumper cables.
Millionth video I’ve seen that doesn’t actually show how to remove the terminal from the wire not just the bolt smh
I’m in the same situation. Have you found any video out there that shows how to remove from wire?
5/16 is better to use to remove the old terminal
2:00 the same thing happened to me unfortunately lol
Happens all the time haha
I think you just stripped the extender.
7/8 not big enough
*Strips it out*
"Good to go!"
