Ms Ms this actually can be done on finer hair, even women that suffer from alopecia. The parting/sections just have to be different, but it’s possible.
And the removal process!! It has to be a nightmare!! But it s really beautiful and looks really natural I would pay to have this done and then pay to have it removed
I think she should have gotten hair that matched her kinky texture. Straight hair is hard to maintain and the heat will damage your hair in the long run. She will have to run the flat iron through her hair to maintain it.
You are one of The Best young hair dressers I have seen in a long time . ❤️ I’m always excited to watch because I know in the end the customer is going to be satisfied and hair on fleek 💯
I would totally let you do this style to my natural hair❤ Give me a year. I promised myself no NOTHING for 1yr. Retaining length ladies. Wish me luck! To be continued☺
Be careful not getting those ends clipped though. You can actually loose length if those splits go too far up the shaft. Even if it's just once every 3-4 months. Good luck though 👌
I’ve had this done before and it’s a pain to get out plus you’re hair will eventually curl back up and frizz up if you sweat or take a shower regardless if you wash your hair or just from the steam. If possible it’s better to get it in your hair texture then straighten so then that way when your hair changes the texture would be the same. I have very thick 4C hair but at the time of install I had chemicals processed hair damage so it wasn’t my curls that came through but the frizziness.
MerKaBa so the maintenance is ok.. I also have low porosity hair so a dry scalp. For me i think I did this hairstyle with yaki hair (I was new to weaves and which hair to get and everything because I didn’t have anyone around who wore weaves but now I know not to get that hair lol) anyway that synthetic hair lasts a month. However even if I got human hair I wouldn’t have kept it in for no more than a month and a half. That hairstylist that did my hair tied the hair to my hair then put the beads on. So on top of my hair and scalp being dry, the bead being right at my roots causing major knotting and dreads when I washed my hair, my hair didn’t match the texture of the install hair, it also was a major pain to take out and I had to get help from my mom. Now I’m not the type to go to the hair salon and have them uninstall wash and then reinstall because the installation process is long enough for me lol and I know how thick my hair is and I’d rather just deal with it at home. All in all in my personal opinion you’re better off doing the t zone method (can’t remember the technical name) but basically they leave out your crown and leave out hair to make a cross on your head so that if you wear your hair half up half down or in two French braids they won’t see the tracks. Works the same since both this hairstyle and the t zone one has your hair flat ironed anyway
@@TaylorSlater I'm sooooooooooo sorry you went through that. That's not the proper way to install micro extensions whether you use links, keratin or threading. I went and paid the money to get properly trained so as not to damage or break off clients hair. I do AGREE with getting the extensions in your hair texture, especially if you're natural. Since they don't come that way we normally have to make them. It's a bit more expensive yet it gives extra versatility. Maintenance is recommended every 3-4 weeks or sooner if your hair grows faster or you have scalp issues. Also with maintenance it's more of a retightening of the extensions that have grown out, especially around the perimeter and crown areas.
I understand what you saying...but i love my thick natural hair But twice a year ill wear braids or a weave...just for a different look and a break/maintenance...But i would definitely rock this going on vacation, etc
I know a lot of people like to use weaves and I did for years because I worked mostly outside, but these days I don’t bother with more than the occasional clip on ponytail! She looks awesome! The stylist did her thing!
This is not fusion clips because it’s not using glue, which is damaging. This uses metal rods with silicone inside of them to protect your hair, that you clamp into each hair strand .
This is beautiful and you can tell she was happy with the end result. I like it curled best. When it's straight I could see where her hair ends. I like that undetectable look🙂
I love these videos 😍 I've always loved doing my hair and am ok at it, but watching these videos learning about all different hair types and methods of doing things I'm absolutely hooked. You beautiful ladies do hair magic! I didn't know watching a hair video could be so soothing and stress relieving. Beautiful job and beautiful client
Sisssss youu need more recognition!!! Youu do an outstanding job !!! Just watching this got me sooo excited to grow out my twa ! 😍😍🤗👑👑 Great work Siss ! As always !! Thankss for sharing w Us ! 🖤💪🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Yes please show how you do your nails!! How long does that hairstyle last? I am ready to make the 10 hour journey cause I’m not flying, but curious how long the hair will last. What does this run price wise? You have the hair there? I love to see hair stylist that take care of themselves and take care of their clients. You exude your passion!! Such an artist! You are amazing. 🙌🏽💯
I would love to get my hair done because I can't not 😭 do my own hair 😭 anymore because my Right shoulder blade is mess up and I have surgery 😫 on its soon. My name is Ms. Cynthia King And I would love to see you about my hair. I'm so so Glad I seen your TH-cam video. Thank God 🙏
The video was fab, and YES, PLEASE do a video on the KISS nails! I’ve shied away from getting acrylic or gel sets done because it tears up my nails. I’ve been rockin’ kiss for 6 mos. now and I love that I can be fierce without worry!
Excellent work, it looks great!! Really pretty!! The links appear to be placed close to the client's scalp which as I understand it is a big no no. Of course it could just be the angle of the camera. After the hair is attached it should not hurt the client at all so my only concern would be if the client is experiencing any uncomfortableness and if so, how well the client's hair would hold up with the links attached so closely to the scalp.
This was awesome! I was a bit concerned with her leave out in the front being shorter than the weave but once she curled it, it was bomb! The stylist is so dainty and gorgeous, go head gurl😍😍
We need a wash routine/ treatment vid from u Bc the hair so sleek and shiny on the press it’s has to be the product combo. (I know that’s ur secret) but your clients hair be healthy 💪🏽🙌🏽💙😍.
It look like braids @ the roots! It looks great! How do you take them out! Can you grease & oil your hair with them in! Will it hurt! Will it help your hair grow! How is this hair different from a sew in etc!
This doesn't hurt you unless the stylist does the installation to tight but some clients will put up with that idk why taking them out you use plier like tools your hair is always growing I'm sure these have the keratin inside the beads your stylist during consultation will discuss with you on how to care for it at home and bring up products for your hair in class I was taught that with extension's treat it like your own hair routine what I was told as a student was the difference between the weave tracks and this is when you run your hand through your hair it goes throw the hair easy while with tracks it's bulky with braids and you can feel the weave and braids tugging and pulling with brushing or combing
I like her hair before but I truly love micro link hair because it's so versatile. I do mine myself but literally it's so cute and you can do anything with them.
Heck yeah! I would try this on my natural hair. Only if she did them tho. Once again she slays. I like the versatility with the microlinks. Keep doing you boo.
Absolutely beautiful! I understand the links lasting for so long. However, what do you do to keep the natural hair from reversing to its natural state?
That DEEP middle part is everything!! Her hair looks gorgeous 😍😍 my hair would revert probably same day because everytime I straighten my natural hair RAIN seems to just appear on the forecast😫😫 mother nature be hating LOL
I’m not hating but I love this method. It’s so much better than the lace front as far as the realness of the tresses. Those lace fronts with the baby hairs are a dead giveaway. I love this look, it’s very natural in appearance
Wow- she looks great if she just had a baby. How many kids does she have? Or was that her first? I snapped right back after my first.... my second yah- 9 years old and I still have my pooch. Sigh 😔
Yeah I got this done in 01 or 02 when I wore a perm. I would not do this with natural hair. Too much time and won't last long. Plus the heat you would have to put on your hair everyday would be murder on your natural hair
That's a good question actually you can still comb your hair and put it up into one showering going to the gym the maintenance isn't bad just treat it how you would with your regular hair routine the stylist will give you all the information and products on how to wash style and manage your hair that's why having a consultation is important so your stylist has an idea of how you treat your hair at home some styles are high maintenance and some easy for simple every day that's why they ask so many questions what I like about these extensions is you can part the hair any direction you want when you sleep it isnt uncomfortable the links mold to you unless you get it done and the person who does it doesn't do it properly it's best to tell your stylist when you feel tugging or pulls or if it feels tight also it's best to get the hair extensions in the texture of your own hair so if you sweat it out or steam it gets wet and reverted back to beautiful curls just style it with cream jel to slick back the hair and put it into a ponytail 😊
I am getting extensions put in around the beginning of August. I am going to be the model for the student getting her certification. I thought I had settled on tape ins but what would you recommend? I have thick half straight and half wavy 😌 hair. I would like to style it different styles and have it last as long as possible. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Great video!
Ok second time watching it she did a great job with her hair everything is closed or closing here in Michigan I don't know anyone that do this technique anymore is it expensive to live there - cost of living yes I would try this on my hair it turned out beautifully
I think this is kinda cool. Does the metal effect the heat in your head or visa versa should I say... it's beautiful. Can you wash your hair with it? If I did my hair like that I would texturized dye and do...
Its beautiful! I see a lot of women complaining about the possible damage to remove but its really not difficult or damaging to do or remove. This method have been around for years. Its nothing new. It's more common for Caucasian women to get this done but a lot of black women are doing it. If you have a stylist who knows her craft you don't have to worry about accidental damage being done. Now what you do on your time at home and how you care for your own hair will play a role in how damaged your hair will be.
You do such an amazing job! I have a personal question that. How much does one charge to do this? It looks very labor-intensive. I just really enjoy your videos.
These are seriously the most neatly done micro links I have ever seen. BEAUTIFULLY DONE!
I’m soo happy I came across a black stylist who does tape ins and micro links . 👏🏽. That’s definitely rare .
If you have strong thick hair I think this would be fine. If you have fine fragile hair then no. Very neat work.
Ms Ms this actually can be done on finer hair, even women that suffer from alopecia. The parting/sections just have to be different, but it’s possible.
MRZ QUINTIN I think she means that those with finer hair will experience breakage. Their hair probably can’t handle the extra weight.
Wow amazing
Can always opt for the weft install as well
I had this done this before. My hair was much healthier. Now is would not work
The hair is gorgeous but can we just talk about your post baby snapback...yesssss!
Your smile is as bright as your client's. Your passion shows through your work. Love your channel!
Thank you soooo much
The initial style is beautiful. However I am thinking about the maintenance being a challenge.
Exactly. Imma need the stylist too move in for at least 3 weeeeks
And the removal process!! It has to be a nightmare!! But it s really beautiful and looks really natural I would pay to have this done and then pay to have it removed
Agreed! It’s definitely not a protective style.
I think she should have gotten hair that matched her kinky texture. Straight hair is hard to maintain and the heat will damage your hair in the long run. She will have to run the flat iron through her hair to maintain it.
Cassandra Wade she had another video that showed how she removed it on the same girl and it’s like a two second removal.
Stylist: "Girl you know I'm go be filming today right"
Client: "Ooooh ok.....Let me beat my Face sis"...😆..lol!....Beautiful work
Lol oh naw her face stays done ERRDDAAYYY!!!!
She is an amazing cosmetologist and all of her clients are gorgeous including her.
No. I would not try this on my natural hair. However, I do appreciate your talent and all the work that went into this beautiful hairstyle.
You are one of The Best young hair dressers I have seen in a long time . ❤️ I’m always excited to watch because I know in the end the customer is going to be satisfied and hair on fleek 💯

Yes it’s worth it!!

Someone, please explain to me why this video has 242 thumbs down???? Her hair is beautiful and the beautician did an amazing job!!!
You can see the number of thumbs down? I thought TH-cam got rid of this because I can’t see it on my end 🤔
I’m so curious, What happens when she sweats and her real hair wants to puff up?

Her hair was already pretty before the weave🤷🏽♀️
Exactly I think she should have kept it as is but it's beautiful both ways
Yep I agree
I know, doesn't make sense! But, to each it's own
I'm sure she knows that, but people like what they like 🤷🏿♀️
I understand what you saying...but i love my thick natural hair But twice a year ill wear braids or a weave...just for a different look and a break/maintenance...But i would definitely rock this going on vacation, etc

I love it! Can you do a video on how you take these out? Thanks keep up the great work your videos are so therapeutic for me lol
I'm sure you will need a professional to take them out. For the money you spent.
This is strand by strand.. this was a weave option back in the 90's.. I had it done in 1995 and it was cute.. I enjoyed it!
They called it Fusion in Detroit and they did it with little globs of glue instead of those clamps
Microlinks
This is not fusion clips because it’s not using glue, which is damaging. This uses metal rods with silicone inside of them to protect your hair, that you clamp into each hair strand .
This is my favorite channel, I think it’s the precision that really gets me
I used a hot iron straightener on my hair and it caused breakage and thinning. I also used hair extensions. Now I just leave it natural
Gurl you ain't had no baby lol, I'm sick of you with that flat stomach. Blessings lovely!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Right
Lmao gotta remember everybody body different .

Yes ma'am I sure would try I-Tips. Love them!!! Her hair is gorgeous ❤️!! I like your black wall art also. Beautiful Salon!!!
Without watching, the answer is no. Not trying any style which requires a pliers for installation on my hair.

I would just get an expensive good quality wig for all of that you still can't part it in any direction
I think this person didn't ask for it to be versatile but it can be. You also don't need to use that much extensions either
Tree braids would be a good alternative, I think they are more protective too
