The dark gourds are actually an acorn squash. One of my favorites. If your vase has too large of an opening, place a smaller jar inside and your arrangement will stay in place. Love your style of decorating.

I just scored a vintage pottery vessel on eBay that has a similar look to the ones on your dining table. It’s only about 6” tall, but I can’t wait to use it this season. I really think the blackish-greenish “gourds” you have are acorn squash-really good eating. That’s just what they look like on my screen. I really miss the farm stands we used to go to in Pennsylvania now that we’re living in Northern Arizona. Not too many pumpkins here. lol

I’ve used acorn squash to decorate too. They lasted about 3 weeks for me before getting mold last year. They are delicious, so I cook them after a couple of weeks and add new ones.

Hi Valarie! Those are acorn squash, and they are delicious halved baked with maple syrup, cracked red chili and salt and pepper and butter, we serve ours with pork chops… you can slice them and bake to… love your video’s…. And LOVE that boucle chair❤️

I think you will be pleasantly surprised by moving the basket with blanket and two textured cushions from under the console and fill the gap even more next to the boucle tub chair. Console stays empty beneath.

Hi Cynde! Actually, it's quite the opposite! I have two little ones who run around and am constantly having to put things back into place 😂 We do use the kitchen, but anyone is welcome to relax and lounge wherever they feel most comfortable! Hope you have a great weekend!

The cheapest places I have found it is Hobby Lobby. Amazon also has it, but it's a lil pricey online. It's called blackbeard wheat!
