Edit: I know that pneumonaultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is lung cancer from inhaling volcanic ash (or something similar, it's been a while since my ninth grade volcanoes class; point is, I know it's a disease that has something to do with volcanoes and the lungs). I'm referring to the fact that it's a word that you won't really use unless you're a doctor or someone who has said disease. Me and my sister have always loved this word!! Ever since we heard it in an episode of Wizards of Waverly Place. One time a kid at school asked my sister what the longest word she knew was. She instantly said Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. He was surprised and was expecting the word from Mary poppins. I’m glad someone else knows this word, and also has thought about it, and the irony behind the name. I love knowing long words.
My mom and I one time spent an entire car ride learning to pronounce pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis. This is now one of my favorite videos of all time.
