Thanks! I'm not really doing anything special. I'm fortunate to be able to fish a lot and I definitely put in the time. I also fish hard. This was my 36th season of fly fishing pyramid and have always been known by my friends as the guy with the iron bladder 😅. I don't take many breaks which is my secret to success. Thanks for the view, I do appreciate it!
I average between 70 and 80 days or half days a season. I usually get a 3 day license and have a place out at the lake that I stay at when I'm out there. Over the last 5 seasons I average over a 10lbr a day. This season dropped off drastically due to the lower population of fish. The 1.1 million fish that were planted between 2014 and 2016 are gone now. And the fish plants have been way down since then.
I throw a full sink type 6 if I'm fishing water where I'm only throwing 80' or less cast. and an Airflo streamer express 250 grain 40 ft head with a intermediate sink running line when I'm making longer casts.
Just curious as to how many days on the lake do you guess it took to catch this many nice fish? I'm local and after adding up the drive, $24.00 licence etc. I have been holding out until the prespawn is in full affect. Time I have endless money not so much. Thanks for sharing.
Took her down for a littleXD! My name is Lucas Waltz and I met you on the pelican beach not to long ago, I was wondering if I could fish with you one day and learn a thing or two from you? Just thought I’d ask :) I enjoy watching your videos and appreciate every single one you post!
Never met you but I’m Pretty sure I see u out there and u def pay your dues. We float tube most of the time and we have passed each other pretty early in the am while u were leaving your spot and we r just arriving. We call u the “the guy in blue gloves”. Good to see u kicking ass like usual.
Yeah, I definitely put in the time. I've been tempted to get out there in my tube. It can definitely be more effective at certain times of yr but it's just easier to plop my ladder down and fish.
This year seems like the fish have been hanging little deeper and the ledges r little further now since water has come up. Pretty sure u seen us out there as we all have orange outcast fat cats and wear the green gloves.
I know you always watch and comment on my videos. I really appreciate that and wouldn't mind fishing with you. Next time introduce yourself so I know it's you!
Love the toss on the release!! Great 📹
Always look forward to your compilation video of the year! Great catches this year man! Your a awesome fisherman! Thank you for the video!

Awesome,you're a champ Man!
Thanks! I'm fortunate to be able to fish with a lot of good fishermen. We keep each other up on where the hot bite is and that definitely helps.

some awesome fish in there!
Definitely! Makes all the casting worth it!
Hey love the videos. Was wondering if you use a full sink or sink tip line? Thanks.

Do you have a way that I can message you privately? Maybe we can fish another reservoir, stream, river, etc?
The only social media I have is X. Peter Thompson

Do you catch the majority of your bigger fish indicator fishing or by stripping flies?
All I do is strip. I don't have the patience to indo fish out there. I do do it everywhere else I fish though.
