I was a waiting for a question around his experience on dealing with his first death under his care at Tipene. I’d imagine the first one would be one you would always remember.
Interesting talk about the age group that currently affects suicide the most in NZ. That breaks my heart! 😢

If it wasn't for Casketeers, I don't think I would of got through my beautiful Dad's tangi. He was the first person I had ever helped to dress. I remember Francis talking to the deceased while he dressed them as if they were just sleeping. I did the same with my Dad, I spoke to him & told him exactly what I was doing and spoke to him in our 'dry sense of humour' way lol.. It helped immensely getting through this. It went from being a highly anxious and traumatic time to one of pure love and gratefulness. Thank you Francis for helping me get through that moment.
