BBC learning English programs have been helping me hugely on my listening ability in the past year thanks to 6 Minute English, News Review and Lingohack. Takeaway English is another brilliant one as well. Your programs make me never feel bored in learning English.
My tips: - Listen to your favorite songs while reading the lyrics. - Listen to podcasts (about English or any topic you find interesting) - Watch movies or TV series with English subtitles first, and then without them.
I just enjoy BBC Radio and it really helps me. I imporve my listening as well as my vocabulary of spoken english. Also, I love reading books, but now I'm simply listening audiobooks, of course it's kinda tough but really effective.
I don't have trouble understanding spoken English, but in exams I find it hard to keep concentrating for an hour or so. My attention drifts to other things and I end up missing details.
I have the exact same problem, my listening skills are pretty fine when it comes to movies, songs and all but as soon as I have to concentrate I drift away after 10 seconds
Not to mention they choose the most boring audios ever. Another problem i have is that its multiple choice but if it wasnt i'd be able to answer the question with ease

i often listen to program bbc news review to improve my listen english skill and extend my vocabularis. But the program does have sub so that i can know exaclly what the program saids.
Hi bbc, i am in a little confused that the word often. In a pronounciation tip, the "t" is silence but in this video, it doesnt. So the "t" can be silence or not. Or base on the situation. P/s my english is bad (^_^)
It's a good idea to have subs, but don't keep your main focus on reading them. Only try to check it when you think there was a word or sentence which you didn't understand. This way your main focus will be on listening, plus you'd get a chance to enjoy the movie perfectly.
His is not the problem my school doesn't goes 1 by 1 it goes randomly in listening so I have to listen again and again and still don't understand which one.
English is second language but kinda 1st too, have been listening to British English or American by watching more videos for a very long time n now I feel gross when I hear people of my country with different pronunciation/accent 💀 btw I've listening test tomorrow
Shout-out to people learning English as a second language. I've known it my whole life and still mess up here and there.
Logan at my school in the Netherlands I learn Dutch (obviously) but also French English and German it’s really annoying haha
Just keep on that bath..you will see the light as soon as you work your ass off.

Without, definitely. Having them turned on one of the biggest mistake
Listen to enough metal songs to reach the level of understanding everything they say. C1 level guaranteed!
