I used to watch her on Search for Tomorrow with my grandmother where she played Jennifer Phillips. She fell through a plate glass window and I was hooked on that show and Ms. Fairchild for years to come.
I love Morgan Fairchild. I saw her in Flamingo Road. And saw her Happy Days and Mork and Mindy. Later she was Friends. She’s a very good actress. She’s a beautiful actress. She looks good for someone who’s 70. Keep up the work Morgan of acting. I will always admire her. Thank you for this video on Morgan Fairchild.
When she was part of the cast of"Flamingo Road". The production company used the old Ambassador Hotel on Wilshire boulevard for a lot of interior shooting. My family had offices in a nearby commercial building. Back then I would go and have lunch at the restaurant at the hotel cafeteria Style restaurant, Wonderfully old school. Afterwards I would walk the property and the grounds and inevitably I would see a lot of the production and the shooting. She was one of the few of the cast members who were consistently always kind and generous and very appreciative of her fan base. And the others were not so! I am so happy to hear that she is done so well and she continues to thrive. She is Definitely deserves all the best in life. She was simply a gracious lady. A class act 👍🤩💨💌💞😷
@@jdsundstrom I might actually have seen that one myself when checking in on my mom. She watches all these Christmas movies on streaming. Pureflix, Hallmark etc... Along with horse ranch stuff like Heartland etc...

I have seen her in many things but what stands out in my mind is a certain Old Navy commercial. Sometimes commercials can be more entertaining than the sponsored programs. Thank you.
She was a memorable mean girl in “The Initiation of Sarah.” Her character’s name was Jennifer Lawrence. It also starred Kay Lenz, Shelley Winters and the other Morgan née Brittany.
"Pee Wee's Big Adventure" is a pretty darned good and funny movie. I do remember Morgan Fairchild as the "movie" version of Dottie. Not to mention that I loved James Brolin as the "movie" version of Pee Wee, known as PW.
I love following Ms. Fairchild's tweets! She's also a big animal lover! Btw, she also does cameos if you wanna get a loved one, or yourself, something special!!!
She was also great as an adversary character on "Cybill" in the late 90s! I wish I had caught some of the scenes she did on Days of Our Lives as Angelica! This character had originally been created by legendary Jane Elliott and that's a tough act to follow by any actress!
In 1986 my girlfriend and I were in Las Vegas to see the Monkees at the Las Vegas Hilton. One day we were sitting in the lobby area waiting for Micky Dolenz to maybe walk by so we could get his autograph. All of a sudden I heard a familiar laugh. Morgan Fairchild has a very distinctive laugh; kind of like Phyllis Diller. It's unmistakable. Sure enough there she was standing by the elevators in a little gold mini dress talking with Gary Puckett and Jan from Jan and Dean. I didn't want to be the annoying fan and interrupt their conversation for an autograph but it was still cool seeing her that close. She literally looked like she was glowing in the dark!
Her and James Brolin's cameo at the end of the movie is one of the most surprising and hilarious appearances in movie history. Even better than Johnny Depp at the end of 21 jump st.
From the Golden Era of great tv! I’ve been putting together a long list the last few years of celebs born names and just added hers to it: Morgan Fairchild born Patsy Ann McClenny
If I found out that Morgan Fairchild was going to be on ANY show I always made sure to watch!! One of the most beautiful women in the world. And I really liked her personality too.
Yeah, Morgan is great. She used to pop up in guest appearances everywhere it seemed, up until the early 2000s. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen her 😆 but I think the one that sticks in my mind the most was playing Chandler’s mother in Friends. She was so amusing, and still incredibly sexy! The first time I recalled seeing Morgan Fairchild was as the first Jenna Wade in the 1st or 2nd season of "Dallas", long before Priscilla Presley took over. I wish they would have gotten Ms. Fairchild to reprise that role. She was a far better actress than Ms. Presley, IMHO.
Reading your comment, my first thought was surely you are incorrect about Morgan's "Dallas" role, but it's true! According to Wikipedia, Morgan Fairchild was the first Jenna Wade character for one episode. Appropriately enough she was born in Dallas, TX too.
@@ronaldschild157 Ah yes, as my family and friends can exasperatingly tell you, I am a veritable Trivial Pursuit- style wonk on all things "Dallas". Stay safe and Happy Labor Day.
I was watching a rerun of Two and a Half Men the other night and Morgan was in a bar. Charlie took her to a hotel room and did what Charlie would do. And my husband and I noticed that she still is a beautiful woman.
Yes, I remember her on Happy Days, Mork and Mindy, and the Initiation of Sarah where she played a bad girl. In that movie she was a true villainess. Perhaps the 70's wouldn't have been complete without her.
Please do a video on 'Ultimate bad guys of tv we love'. Morgan Fairchild [Flamingo Road], Larry Hagman [Dallas] , Joan Collins [Dynasty], Jane Badler [V] and others. I did not know M.F. was born in Dallas.
I must say Mr. Dave, she looks pretty damn good for 70! Another one of those "poster girls" that looked so good on our walls!! She really epitomized the 80's!
I think I first saw Morgan on Happy Days as well, followed by the Love Boat and of course her TV movies. You weren't kidding about magazine covers, there was at least one or two mags every few weeks with her face on the cover when my mom took me to the supermarket. There was one magazine I picked up in the early 80s and she was wearing a couple of bikinis and full swimsuits, there's no disputing she's a very beautiful woman.
The Mork & Mindy episode was a classic. I couldn’t stop laughing. Robin and Morgan’s awkward scene truly showed Robin’s comedic strength. I found her character as Constance in Flamingo Road compelling with her scenes with actor Howard Duff’s Titus. Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. Yes. One of the greatest films of all time. I remember seeing her in the Old Navy commercials and, though I haven’t seen it yet, Holy Man with Eddie Murphy. In an interview on Entertainment Tonight, or another show like PM Magazine, Morgan was out on an archeological fig. She thought that archeology was interesting because of the hands on approach to uncovering the past. Whether she plays the heroine, the damsel in distress or the femme fatale, Morgan Fairchild was the go to actress.
MF has to be my longest running celeb crush. Like you Dave, I can't remember when I first saw her. (For the longest time, I mistakenly thought she was Sissy Spacek's tormentor in "Carrie" lol.)
She was born Patsy Ann Mclenny, and she got her name from the 1966 film 'Morgan' starring David Warner. During the 70's, she also did numerous episodes of 'CBS Radio Mystery Theater' which ran from 1974 to 1982, and hosted by E. G. Marshall. [There are several websites devoted to this show, Dave, and they have EVERY episode, so you should find them and listen] There was also a short lived magazine in 1983 called 'One Woman' [only 2 issues published] which featured Morgan in the very first issue!!! [The second issue featured Cathy Lee Crosby] Just like Barbi Benton, i would watch ANYTHING that starred in or made an appearance in. [Also check out 'The Girl, The Gold watch And Dynamite'] I have that TV Guide cover you show along with the 'People' magazine cover. I used to keep a scrapbook of all the hot TV babes, so whenever i found a great pic of one of them, i would buy the magazine or whatever it was just to get the photo.
I remember her mostly from Flamingo Road and her work after that. I thought she was funny on Friends too. I’m with those who commented on way too much plastic surgery. To me she looks terrible. And she was such a beauty. Why people can’t age gracefully I’ll never know. Most look freakish.
I understand that. I feel bad that they feel that pressure to do so. What I don’t understand is the pressure to keep doing it and looking worse every time. I remember Diane Keaton once said that her wrinkles are a road map of her life or something like that. Lauren Hutton said something similar. There are many who haven’t had it and still get great roles. As far as men goes there have been a few who have. Andy Williams comes to mind. Oh well, it’s their choice but after a while they all look the same. I don’t like getting older but it’s part of life and my philosophy is to do my best to embrace it. Not always easy. I get it.😊
The juxtaposition of Morgan Fairchild over Connie Stevens on that magazine cover is not lost. There was a time when Connie Stevens was the top tv blond.
In so many ways, Morgan Fairchild seemed like almost a parody of the quintessential media star. Perhaps that is because she really was the quintessential media star during her heyday.
I was so hot for her!! Through out the 70's and 80's she was, hands down sexiest Top 3 TV babes, of those decades. I saw a poster of her wearing a leopard print swimsuit. I wanted it so bad!!

One of the VERY FEW to age well at least. LOL I don't recall hardly any of these appearances though...
She married Tommy Flanagan. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Ferdinand Cesarano, Damn, stole my thunder too!
3:47. Too bad she went the Botox/ duck lips/ surgery route. Looks like a reboot of ‘Mask’.
Maybe you know my wife, Morgan Fairchild, yeah, that's it.... that's the ticket.

I'm glad I never knew Morgan Fairchild.
Why? Contrary to the characters that she has played on-screen, she seems like a delightful person in real life.
I remember her mostly from Flamingo Road and her work after that. I thought she was funny on Friends too. I’m with those who commented on way too much plastic surgery. To me she looks terrible. And she was such a beauty. Why people can’t age gracefully I’ll never know. Most look freakish.
It's the entertainment industry. Men can age gracefully. Women who choose to do so find it increasingly difficult to land roles.
Very insightful, Stephen!
Connie Stevens was a total knockout also! Similar kind of vibe to Morgan..sexy, classy and feminine.
In so many ways, Morgan Fairchild seemed like almost a parody of the quintessential media star. Perhaps that is because she really was the quintessential media star during her heyday.
Well said!
I was so hot for her!! Through out the 70's and 80's she was, hands down sexiest Top 3 TV babes, of those decades. I saw a poster of her wearing a leopard print swimsuit. I wanted it so bad!!
You forgot her marriage in the 80's to Tommy Flanagan.
I wonder if anyone will get that.😎
Well...there are at least 3 of us who do. You, me and Jon Lovitz.
I remember her as being married to Kirk Gibson.
She was a very beautiful woman sexy pretty fine absolutely gorgeous
