6:03 You dont have to press the button on the wheel. All you have to do is to tap the accelerator pedal. Like in the Corolla too. Somehow I like this movement more than always having to reach for the steering wheel. By the way: Do you remember how high the consumption was while driving? Does the autopilot drive efficiently? That would be great, because I drive more efficiently than the autopilot in my Corolla. Which isn't really something you can pat yourself on the back about.
Yes, I know about gas pedal :) The reason why I use the button on the steering wheel is: it is necessary to be visible on the movie what I am doing :) About consumption: yes, it is normal, that experienced driver is more efficient than ACC. Unfortunately I do not have any precise numbers because I have different situations etc. during the recording of both movies. I cannot compare them.
hi, as always your videos are very useful and practical - well done and nice quality! Can i ask you if the android auto instructions are shown in the instrument cluster?
Does it follow the car in front when there is no lane like in previous models? I haven't seen this feature. It seems like it gives a warning instead of following the car in front when it can't read the lanes. In previous models, when it couldn't find a lane, dots appeared to show that it was following the car in front. I couldn't see them on this one. What are the differences between the previous ACC and LTA models?
Thank you :) Watch the first couple of seconds of the video, you will see how I turned semi-autonomous driving. Navigation does not have to be active, the system will not turn left/right on the crossroad.
These systems should add on big cars like Toyota Sequoia, Land Cruiser and other! Why only small car? Small car like this should have less driver assistance
@@1001cars I just can't seem to find a fuel consumption test of this car with the 1.8l engine anywhere. And that's the engine I'm planning on getting because with the 2l one, I'll have to pay luxury tax where I live
@@Capy-K the consumption of 1.8l is not much lower than 2.0l. Here you have the results of 2.0l AWD: th-cam.com/video/xiTXB_BZHzE/w-d-xo.html Of course, because of the AWD, the difference will be bigger, but still not higher than 10%.
According to the manual you shouldn't use it in suburban. It's highly dangerous. This car doesn't have any kind of auto-pilot. It's just adaptive cruse control with line assistance. Looks amazingly well done
All good if the road markings are clear, have you visited the uk? Would not work so well here most of the white lines are missing.

my rav 4 (2024) same thing ........just perfect !
I just got my new chr, what about if lane center didnt work at turns? I am afraid of using in 2 way trafic on single road, on highways its best

very good job man! you really show well the technology of the car. I like the car much more now i see your videos@@1001cars

IT WORKS better than tesla autopilot
Hello,
What model is the car? Advanced or premiere?
Great video by the way!!!!!
Premiere
Awesome car but I wish that toyota can reduce the middle infotainment bezel lots more 😅
Good video! Do you know which Toyota models have the same system?
Definitely Corolla 2023.
@@1001carsthanks
Hello.
Which edition is this?
chr gr sport 2024 have this option? thanks
As far as I know, it is a standard in all versions.
Is this the new system with 2 windshield cameras ?
My Grand Highlander has toyota 3.0.It works well
does it slow down automatically if you enter a 30 zone?
It does not have a capacitive steering wheel, it uses a torque sensor.
Hi did the system automatically corrected steering wheel at 7:34 or is it you?
at that time, the lane keeping assist system did not work
What happens if you don't touch the steering wheel? Does the car brake and stops like VW?
Yes if you don't touch the wheel the car slowly stops and turns on 4 lights inductors
Hello! Thanks for the video. How do you activate autopilot? Do you add a route to the GPS and press a button? Thank you

Yes, as soon as I can.
