As i recall back in 98 on playstation there was a game I baught at the store that was suppost to be "Magic the Gathering" but Robot's playing ball just like this accept with Chain saws and other weapons.... I just can't find the name of it.

The Game you're referring to is called Dead Ball Zone or DBZ for short. It was an amazing game and they never made a sequel to it sadly. I saw it as a spiritual successor to Speedball 2

When it comes to speed upgrading your team changes all that in both games so hard to tell if one is faster.... 2 is deffinetly smoother with a slight edge on controls

The Amiga version looked better than this muddy crap.

Amiga version looks and sounds bland, like there was nothing but the gameplay, I rather enjoyed the customization and crowd activity from this one
