This lens is not stabilized. What we're seeing is body stabilization. And oh boy check out that distortion. If you really want lens-based stabilization in a rectilinear 10mm f/2.8 ultra wide, there are a few of them out there incl. Canon, Nikon. But do you really need stabilization in an ultra wide? If your purpose is photo/video journalism, go with a wide zoom, like a 14-24mm, or 24-70 or 80mm f/2.8 stabilized pro lens. Then you've got versatility and can zoom in when needed. Ultra wides are great for landscape, cityscapes where you typically aren't moving much.

@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis now I want it, can’t keep up with your pace xD
Is that camera overheating?
Never overheats on me the way I use it unless streaming in 4K
THANKS
Is it a full frame 10mm or a 10mm intended for APSC?
Full frame
Does it have stabilisation?
No stabilization
I can’t help but compare this to my sigma 10-18 f2.8. Is the hype around this just cos it’s prime?
Ah… I get it… full frame 👍🏻
Do recommend the sigma 10-18 f2.8 for a sony a6400?
YES! Was filming with it yesterday and it performed great. @@Bview-kc1lm
Looking for a good wide angle for apsc Sony filmmaking. Does Mark (or anyone else) have any good, affordable solutions? (Wide. Just Not this wide)
I’m testing the Yongnuo 11 right now. so far it’s good amzn.to/3P0TI2t
if you have a bigger budget - the sony 11 is amazing amzn.to/3OTGUe3
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis very nice, thank you. And yongnuo, that has me nostalgic for my old canon DSLR.
Please tell me it works with Zv e 10
It does, but you'd be better off with the Sony 11 1.8. - It's cheaper, got a faster aperture, and much smaller. This Laowa is great for wide on a full frame, but on apsc, it won't be much wider at all than the sony 11
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis bet! Looking at your video review on it now’
