    I wish I could've finished it but life happens lol
    I will upload a video about my wreck in the coming weeks. The bike is fine and so am I.

    How much further back did the new bars allow your hands to be compared to the old bars? Thanks for the great video.

      I didn't measure it but the listing says it brings it back about 65mm so around 2.5 inches. It allows me to actually reach my backrest that is installed on my rear case when I am cruising. It can vary based on installation though because you can change the angle of the bars.

    What’s the bar mounted on your Speedo?

    • @marsy_mcmarsface

      It's from Kijima. It is called the Handlebar Mount Bracket. It is very nice! I use it to mount my GPS currently.

    Hey that’s a good tutorial. Would this also work for drag bars? (Some off brand from EBay) and can you still handle lock the bike? Thanks and lovely bike

      Should work for any 1" handlebars, but the control cables may not be long enough. You can extend them with other parts.

    Thanks for the attempted fitting guide but you left out the hard bits and how you overcame that install.

      Yeah I planned to do more. I was going to talk about it during the ride after.

    Any tips you didn't get a chance to say in video? I'm getting these same bars in a few days. Thanks

      I've had them on for months now. They survived my wreck with no damage! Still going strong. I absolutely love them on the bike

      @@justchillin619 put your throttle on before mounting the bars! That's the biggest thing I struggled with.

    Fifty years of riding, forty bikes. First off, NEVER work on your handlebars without covering your tank with a big, thick bath towel. Second, when installing your new bars, slide the throttle assembly on BEFORE you put the bars in the clamps. You're welcome.

    • @marsy_mcmarsface
      @marsy_mcmarsface  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was thinking about that yesterday actually. It would've been much easier to install the throttle first! Live and learn!

    Do these fit a 2023 Rebel ABS SE?

    • @marsy_mcmarsface
      @marsy_mcmarsface  ปีที่แล้ว

      It should. I don't think the handlebars have changed between the newer model years. This was installed on a 2018.

    How do you like it compare to factory handle bar? I'm thinking to get me one.

    • @marsy_mcmarsface
      @marsy_mcmarsface  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely an improvement for me. It allows me to sit back further and not be hunched over. Some complain about the way the handles are angled but I have no problems with it. The finish is different from the stock bars, these are glossy black instead of matte. As with any Kijima product, quality is great.

      @@marsy_mcmarsface Glad you like it. As my wrist pain when ride after 30 minutes using the factory handle bar. Thank you for your great video.

    What was that metal bar above the speedometer?

    • @marsy_mcmarsface
      @marsy_mcmarsface  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's called the Kijima "Handlebar Mount Bracket" and it can be found on Webike. It is just another mounting option for bar clamp stuff.
      If you look in my newest video I use it to mount my GPS. Very neat product though a tad bit over priced.
      It screws between the speedometer mount. Very easy!

      It was part number 204-3386 but it seems to be removed from Webike. I found this part number 204-3387, which appears to be the same.
