Jamie, Congratulations, you did a great job with this video!!! Just yesterday, I was passing through Marion, Massachusetts, where as a kid, some of the 1914 Marconi towers were still standing. As early as July 1907, the Fall River Line steamers were equipped with "Submarine Signal" devices to help navigate Long Island Sound [their fleet already had "wireless telegraphy" in 1904]. Have often seen the more than 20-foot anchor & other artifacts from the Str. REPUBLIC at the museum you mentioned. There was another shocking steamship accident on the crystal-clear early morning of January 18, 1884, when the Str. CITY OF COLUMBUS ran off course landing on rocks of Devil's Bridge off Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Most crew & passengers lost their lives. A surviving steward on the CITY OF COLUMBUS had provisory been employed on the Fall River Line Str. BRISTOL. Again, great video, Andrew 👍👍👍
Excellent video Jamie. I'm really starting to look forward to your videos, I'm also glad you narrate your own stories. So many people are taking the easy way out and use A.I .
Jamie, are there any notable collisions between 2 Italian ships that English only speakers may not be aware of? Excellent job on this video, and as always it’s wonderful to see how you’ve grown this channel.
Well done! And as always very thorough. It would be nice to see your face occasionally as you narrate. Don’t be shy, your quite handsome! Also , photos of the interiors of the ships are of great interest, particularly when describing the ship as popular with millionaires and how attractive the accommodations were. Plus it gives you more a feel of what the surroundings were and what the experience of being aboard was like. Thank you again so much for these, always enjoyable!
@ I noticed that a lot of the sites with larger numbers of fans promote not just the content, but the person presenting the information, viewership goes up particularly when there’s an attractive narrator…your charming and attractive, it couldn’t hurt to see your face more in the adds for the pieces and on camera itself…don’t be shy, we’d love to see more of you.
Hello Jamie, I love your videos. You cover ships that barely get a look in because of the "famious" ships. Would love to hear about the ss Transilvania. She sailed under the anchor line. Thank you.😊
Jamie you did an absolutely FANTASTIC job on this video my friend! Well researched, great images, and the perfect amount of audible commentary of the survivors via AI Chat. Keep up the great work!!!
