I love Apashe. He's an amazing edm artist. You should definitely go down this rabbit hole. I found his music during lockdown, he did a virtual live performance for League of Legends and it was awesome.
Probably lots of people found him through that one stream ^^. For me it was TH-cam and Soundcloud back in the day. Saw him live 2016 in Germany on the date he released Copter Boy, his first album. I've been following him on/off since then. Watching him evolve his style and craft has been great :)
Apashe really is one of a kind. Great reaction, definitely should check out more of him. I'd recommend wathcing: RIP, Lord & Master, Human, Uebok (Gotta Run), Majesty, Behind My Eyes, Witch and Revenge Of The Orchestra. I know it's a lot but he has just this many great songs and that's only the ones with music videos, he has a lot more great songs that just haven't received a music video yet.
I'm glad you discovered this song/video. Your deep analysis of the meaning behind this song was really amazing and easy to listen, you are a very well educated and rhetorically experienced kind person. Thank you and keep going ;)
apashe is a one of a kind. i havent found a single artist that hits the tone between classic and edm like he does. i crave his style. both his antagonist album and his renaissance album are simply majestic. also just generally big props to him for addressing the issues about cults and sects. i rarely see people talk about it.
Apashe actually composes all of the orchestration and has a live orchestra perform it in his music, he even has a live orchestra in his live shows! One of my favorite songs and videos is Uebok VIP 🤪 th-cam.com/video/gM4xZy39kNE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4qzLSXHhkLgJc2so
I've been a fan of Apashe for a few years now, and one thing I've learned is that the topic he engages with are things that few artists will touch. Most artists today will never go beyond the falling in and out of love in a relationship, but the artists who really embrace all the various facets of existence, both beautiful and ugly, their work is so much better. Whether it's Apashe, Kate Bush, Bjork, Ren, Diablo Swing Orchestra, etc, they are willing to speak to sensitive parts of our society that make us uncomfortable. And they do so with tremendous grace and skill, and in my mind that make them better artists than whomever is topping the charts over their latest breakup song.
Apashe fan for 10ish years here and he's one of the most unique edm artists...as you can tell he mixis classical music with heavy bass music and it's something i fell in love with because of him.... I'd love to see even more of this🖤
Hey beautiful Rosalie. I'm not sure if I'm behind or ahead on this but just wanted to send you love❤ and holiday cheer 🎉 tis my 45th bday in 9 days and you have helped me make it through the year so thank you very much♐❣
Awww Kate! Your message encourages me!! Happy Early Birthday!! (Hope it's ok I say that, I know some don't like early wishes :) ) What are you planning to do for your bday? Hope you have a wonderful day whatever you choose to do. Know that you're loved and seen.
@@rosalieelliottofficial Hi Rosalie. Ermm , I'm going to pay my respects to my beloved Nin { maternal grandmother }resting places. & my Nain { paternal grandmother } as they are both buried in a place called Denbigh in North Wales and when they passed away I was in prison and now that I'm clean I feel that I should go and pay my respects to them as obvs whilst in prison i didn't want to go the funerals in cuffs. I'm ashamed to say that it's taken me 12 years to do this but at least I can put flowers on each of their resting places.
@@katedavies5698 oh hun. that's a beautiful way of honoring them. don't be ashamed. the past is over. you are here now. and if they were as sweet as I think they might have been, then maybe they would be proud of you for how far you've come :) may that trip and time be full of peace, healing, forgiveness and new beginnings for you. keep dancing in the light
Very unsettling video with incredible music... I live not far from the Branch Davidian compound. When it was lit to burn I recall our science teacher wheeling in a tv for us to watch it happen live. I was just in 8th grade but I remember how surreal it was knowing there were kids like me in that place who were not able to escape. Such a complex situation of right and wrong and the forcing of individuals on every side into corners and situations which no person deserves to ever be in... This video is incredible in capturing the insanity of manipulation and the horrific ramifications of the cult mindset. Unfortunately, some of my own family were recently involved in a different cult where manipulation and sexual perversion like this was occurring in North Texas. The revelation of what was going on nearly destroyed that congregation and thankfully my family saw the light and left it, but the manipulative leader never fled, but continues his cultish tactics even now after pleading guilty to his sexual crimes. This stuff is real, and it truly destroys lives when sick minds use sincere hearts to further their selfish needs.
Nice reaction, nice that you are so into the video content and not just the music. The video is impressive and I believe that it is also intended to draw attention to current political issues.
I actually don't like these "x sees y for the first time and reacts" videos. But when I saw the "Catch me" video for the first time I really needed some time to regain my sanity. Apart from the musis which if phenomenal as always with Apashe the video was outright painful because these things have happened for real and *will* happen again... My reaction was about the same as yours...
Okay, I found something that I'd really love to hear your take on. It's a real mindfu*k of a song, and I fell in love with it, although I recommend just listening to it because I found the video rather disturbing:music.th-cam.com/video/VN5VtWncH0A/w-d-xo.html

Apashe is one of the greatest! I really think he will be known as one of the best composers!
Wow! Never seen anyone react to Apashe before :o

I'm so happy to see you discover Apashe! Witch is my favorite, it hits me in ways I can't even explain.
Interesting song to start with haha, mostly cause of the video. Almost all of his songs are amazing and the music videos are usually pretty damn fun.
APASHE: Must review RIP!!!!
Love the shirt Rosalie!

May I suggest listening to Johnny by Call Me Karizma?
Its all but confirmed this is about the waco standoff, so it's not your bias!

So, would an ultra-religious person who cooks fantastic briskit be a "Brunch Davidian"? (-; ••• PEACES!!!
