    Before Fisk’s home run, it took a Bernie Carbo three run homer to straightaway centerfield to send that game to extras. It’s not a top 10 homer, but worth a mention.

      Thanks for the feedback. We are working on a way where we are allowed to use only the good footage.. because sometimes youtube or other channels won't allow us.. so then we need to put some images between 😬 (which is very odd)

      Gibson coming in to pinch hit when no one thought he would play because he couldn't even walk without a very noticeable limp is crazy. The fact he hit a game winning home run is almost unbelievable. That play gives me goose bumps and I don't even like the Dodgers.

    Hank Aaron STILL IS the home run king. All the steroid junkies and their numbers should be scrubbed from the record books. The most amazing thing about Aaron's record is that he never hit 50 in a season.

    What about Dan Johnson in the Tampa Bay Ray's final game of the regular season in 2011 that secured their playoff spot as well as capped a comeback after the Rays were down 8-0 in the 8th inning? The guy had a .108 average and was barely known, but he had a seat in the park dedicated to him after that strike.

    So tired of seeing Fisk wave his Homer fair. Mark Bellhorn had the exact same homer back in (I think) 2004 when The Sox actually won the championship. Only difference was Bellhorn ran around the bases without any dramatics.

    I am a life long Yankees fan, I saw Bucky Dent's homerun, Henry Aaron hit his homer without taking steroids ( I still say he's the home run leader. He did it on hard work and talent) How can you forget Roger Maris in October of 1961? He became the single season home run leader. A record he held for 37 years ❤ no steroids!

    • @davester1970
      @davester1970 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What made Hank Aaron special was that he could do more at the plate than hit home runs. He finished his career with 3771 hits. If Hank Aaron never hit one home run in his career, he would still would have amassed over 3,000 hits. He never hit more than 47 homers in one season, but he consistently hit 30 or more home runs year after year.

      What makes what hank Aaron did in his career even more impressive knowing he did it all while receiving a ton of death threats against him and his family. To be able to block out what he went through off the field and not only play well but to become one of the greatest hitters of all time is incredible.

    Well some of those home runs were acceptable, like Ruth's, Aaron's, Gibson's, but come on now....Joe Carter's? Mark McGwire's? What's next....Manny Ramirez hit a juiced ball over the wall whilst he was doping up on steroids? Look how about sensible ones like Ted Williams final-at-bat, where he launches a monster of a home run, into the bleachers? Or how about George Brett's three home runs, which included a grand-slam, against the mighty New York Yankees in the 1977 AL playoffs? Or even Cal Ripkins home run while breaking Ty Cobb's consecutive playing streak record? Just saying.

      I don’t care about PED’s, McGwire hit 49 home runs in his rookie season without any steroids. He was always going to be a home run hitter. Bonds should also be on this for his 756th. On his way to break the all time record pitchers wouldn’t even pitch to him. He would get maybe 2 or 3 pitches to hit in a game. In 2004 he was walked 232 fuckin times with nearly half of them being intentional and he still hit 45 home runs over 100 RBI’s and had like a 360 batting average. Sorry that’s not because of steroids use I don’t care what anybody says. I played baseball at a high level and was also using juice and it didn’t really help as much a people believe. People who have no idea what they are talking about will believe anything they read that some jerkoff who has never played sports at any level let alone a high level like D-1 college, the minors or majors wrote or everything that the media says when 99% of it is bullshit. PED’s will help you recover from fatigue and injuries quicker and give you a little more power and I’m talking about being to hit a ball an extra 30 feet at most which doesn’t make all that bit of difference for the most part when guys can already hit the ball 420 feet plus. Shit I hit hr’s that measured 450 feet when I was 17 without juice. I’m not saying they don’t help with certain things but it’s nowhere near as helpful as people believe
