I wouldn't say the RC 600 is user friendly . In order to access the effects you have to be Michael flatley I find it cumbersome I also find a tiny screen from boss typical all their screens look like 1980s computers . The sound is excellent I will give it that but it's definitely not user-friendly.

I can't stand when somebody talks uninterruptedly like that, like in American ads. It's just unbearable.

Speaking rapidly while music is playing at the same time, irritating at best

Besides the looper, do I need an audio interface? I play the bass.

Hey bud. I noticed he didn't answer your question. You do not need an audio interface unless you want to record to your computer. If you just want to lay down a loop with your bass and then jam over that loop, you only need your bass, a cable going from your bass to the looper and a cable going from the looper to your amp, and you're good to go. If you do not have an amp, you might want to check out the Line6 HX Stomp. It has a basic looper, digital bass amp models that are very good, AND it also can function as an audio interface. It's not cheap. But it can allow you to loop for jamming as well as then recording to your computer if you dig the loop you've created. Plus it has a lot of cool effects you can play with that can be pretty cool and a lot of fun. Hope that helps, bro.
