The first year we had our "real boat" boat (summer 2019) we kept her at Bruce and Johnson's in Branford, CT. I was pretty overwhelmed by the tidal currents and really choppy seas in the sound. Thanks for your videos. I learn something in every one of them.
Al put himself through Electrical Enginnering and Computer Science the the University of Cincinnati BSEE '68, Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Kappa Tau while being a marine mechanic. Advice: Sea Foam and StaBil for outboards, and Eradicate for Diesel Bug.
Like to SEA how you resolved the motor issue - ever use Sea Foam as an additive to your gas since one cannot always get high quality marine gas without additives like ethanol?
Hi! We were anchored in Newport RI initially, then we anchored at Fishers island and ended anchoring in some islands off of CT. No marinas in this one!
W O W ... Was that ever a N1CE looking, well restored 1957 Plymouth..!! 4:35. 😱😎👌👍✅
I'm impressed with Will's comfort level making repairs. What were your professions before cruising?
He's come a longgg way. We were both accountants at hedge funds in NYC😮
@@CalicoSkiesSailing you seem too fun to have been accountants. Maybe that's why you quit? LoL
“I CANT REACH THE BOTTOM”. 5 WORDS IVE NEVER SAID
Yes! Want to see how you fixed the OB issue. You guys truly are the best! 😊

Totally! You are pretty close to the race in LIS, pretty crazy currents out that way! We've had it handed to us out there many times 😂

@@CalicoSkiesSailing I think you have to buy him a bottle of rum
I agree a rum would be welcome the next time you are in Atlantic Canada.
We would love that! Are you in Nova Scotia?
Prince Edward Island not far from Nova Scotia
Spark plug gap tool! Better than the feeler guages that always get rusted together
Thanks for the vids! I would like to see what you did to resolve the motor issue..

Sure, let's see the resolution of the outboard issue.
Ok! :)
Yes please post a video of your Dingy, lol

I think you have too much oil in your gas, it shouldn't smoke like it did when you started it! People forget gas evaporates and oil doesn't!
Good point! We tend to smoke when fuel tank is low. More oil leftover than gas 🙃
