Bc I don’t think that’s the problem but I think I know what you mean when you hear a lot of “fanboys” on the internet talk nothing but v8’s and swapping them into any chassis bc they think it’s cool. That’s an annoying fad tbh. I love 90’s and 00’s circuit models way more than the typical expensive luxury sports cars.

Best induction sound ever! Period.
I remember as a young guy we went to see rally's in Belgium, you could hear Patrick Snyers miles before he went flying by in his Bastos M3..... That body line with the squared arches still defines BMW what it represents in Motorsport and Rally, nothing can overrule this, not even the newer cars....
True, they are still spectacular to see at rallies.

I had the 320is E30 (S14B20) MPOWER. 192HP ... is the best car, fantastic, unique !!! I did so many races !! it was my first and only love !!! all car manufacturers should learn something from the German philosophy !!

Imagine a turbocharged four-banger M3 today. I know that sounds too far off the spirit of the original M3-E30 but let’s face it, not much companies are willing to go the natural aspiration route and squeeze as much power as they could out of four cylinders. Emissions standards may suck, but it’s probably for the better (well imo)
