Isha pretending to be Jinx because Jinx doesn't want to fight reminds me of the story of Achilles and Patroclus. In the story, Achilles doesn't want to fight in the war, so Patroclus takes his armor and leads his men into battle, killing himself. Achilles, filled with guilt and grief, quickly fights and puts an end to the war. Then he gets his ankle shot at. This is likely how Jinx's story is going to go.
As cool as that'd be, I think the impact will be more metaphorical or mental than physical, just because Arcane is officially canon to LoL and as a result would make it highly unlikely for a champion in the show to die (Jinx).
Considering how season 2's OP has their characters follow major literature stories [Example, Caitlyn having the same silhouette as Macbeth], You may be on point!
Isha treated Jinx as her FAMILY, you always find her chasing jinx hugging jinx, painting herself like jinx acting and moving like jinx. Jinx was everything for Isha, she was lonely till jinx saved her, she was the same situation of POWDER, she just wanted to prove herself and protect her beloved one. Actually, I am shocked till now of the ending scene of EP6.
i feel like no one talks abt the fact isha wears bunny ears and implies that isha is a form of the bunny plushie of vi and powder's from s1, like a new version of the bunny that doesn't haunt jinx but instead makes jinx realize that identifying as powder again isn't a bad thing. with isha (most likely) dying, it could mean the full finale of powder, and powder's death, or for jinx to accept her two identities as herself.
Yeah I feel like ishas death is in a way the 'good ending' of powders tragedy. I imagine jinx wondered so many times, what if she'd been the one who died instead? What if her bomb worked and she went out with a smile, instead of everyone else paying the price and having to live with it afterwards. Isha is kind of the second coming of powder, a version who was able to choose her ending and go out on her terms. And while I know jinx is devastated by this it'll also surely make her reflect on powders role and what it would have meant if she HAD died there. Maybe help her move on and face the future. But God, ouch man
Death can be seen as a force to become a better or a worse person, we’ve already seen Caitlyn take the bad path, and I think Jinx will see the love and the sacrifice Isha made for her, for all of them, Isha will be the inner strength she needs to pull through life with childlike wonder and love.
@@McJethroPovTee in s2 ep4, you'll see once jinx stops narrating the fighting scene it goes into isha and jinx watching the bugs, and isha is wearing the bunny ears then. all throughout s2 i was wondering where the bunny plushie was, but it makes so much more sense for the bunny plushie to be gone, and isha becomes this new bunny plushie/symbol for the bunny
What had me bawling about Ishas death was this small detail as she runs towards Vander. The closer she gets the memories of her time with Jinx flood in and the more they do the wider her smile becomes to the point she cries tears of happiness. She's content giving her life up like this for Jinx her older sister.
Yesss! I loved her tears of happiness!! So much of act 2, especially the last episode, was about love and rebuilding and connection, and her tears and smile in the battlefield showcase that perfectly. She wasn't running because she was scared or miserable but because of love, pure and simple! Whereas season one was generally about misery and tragedy in general, season 2 seems to be the opposite. It's about hope and even though it may be difficult to get through and traumatic things will happen along the way, you are always fighting to get towards hope🎉
This exactly, this! The creators should be commended for how beautiful the scene is. She has a smile on her face and closes her eyes at the last moment. Honestly, I can't describe my feelings and this is how the art should be. So beautiful that it can't be described
i feel like Isha took the Hexgems out of Vi's gauntlets, because she saw Jinx do it. Seeing that the Gems are important, and even if they cant have their weapons themselves, in that area, they should still keep the gems on their person. I guess its safe keeping from others who might try to steal them. Because yes, they are still in Zaun. (at first, i thought isha was just stealing them from Vi too, just to show off later to Jinx or to trip up Vi, or i thought she was a spy for a wild second -gasp- BUT thinking back over it. Isha wants to be part of the family, so she was probably thinking ahead to keep Vi's Hexgem safe too.)
Powder and Jinx seem like they are two constants. In season 1 this ie embodied in jinx, and when she embraces jinx in season 2 act 1 powder comes back as isha. When jinx starts leaning more into powder, isha embodies jinx. So with isha now dead (presumably), we'll see jinx conflicted between her two halves again.
Personally I like to believe Jinx fully took over when Silco died, and we haven't seen Powder since. Imo how Jinx acts in season 2 is not similar to Powder. Jinx just has a different meaning now, Jinx has a good and bad side.
I feel like this season requires a rewatch to catch a lot of the details and really digest it. I feel like this is a consequence of the pacing but also I need to praise the writers for how well they've condensed everything. I do feel like it's a bit more flawed than season 1 right now, but it's still phenomenal.
I'm having way more FUN watching this season than I had in season one. don't get me wrong, season one is perfect, but this season has my heart on the edge a lot more often. first when the chemtank guys jumped into piltover and we had an amazing fight, then when Jinx was interrupted when fixing Sevika's arm, then at Sevika vs Smeech, Vi vs Jinx, Viktor's first Jesus act, Warwick vs Jinx, Vi embracing Vander and trusting Jinx, Jayce schizo shooting Viktor, and then finally Isha's sacrifice... I don't remember feeling that many heart pound moments in season one.
@@yourunclejohn984 I mean with Season 1 I felt like I understood it for the most part in regards to its themes and messaging. Rewatching adds a lot but I got the gist. That being said, I watched it shortly after all the episodes were out so I got the full picture. We don't know how season 2 ends and that will radically affect how we percieve Act 1 and 2.
The imge of "Two sides of a coin" is heavily depicted in this act. I believe after Isha's (presumed) death, Jinx cherish both of her identities and a will to step forward. Another thing I noticed is that Isha was the third Zaunite to use Hextech after Vi and Jinx
part of the reason i love isha so much isn’t just because she’s a cute little kid but it’s because she’s so well written. even though we never hear a word from her we still get so much personality through her movements, expressions, the choices she makes, etc. we’re also close to having entirely no flashbacks or hallucinations from jinx, which usually connects her to the ‘powder’ (more emotional) side of her that she continually tries and fails to shut off. isha is a stark reminder of jinx’s humanity but then ofc she gets ripped away.. anyways i can’t wait to see her break down shave her head like britney and completely crash over this 🤗🤗
While I liked the analogy at 9:46 of her vision getting clearer/blurrier being associated with the spyglass, I think Isha was actually stealing Jinx's Zapper gun back. I did enjoy the parallel of Jinx using her pistol as her "punchline," same as when she first met Isha.
This might be controversial, but Isha reminds me a lot of young Vi. She’s brave, bold, protective, and hopeful which reminds me more of Vi compared to Powder. I get the Jinx comparisons for sure obviously, but Isha’s the perfect/morally good Jinx
:) also the fact that Jinx's arcs parallel Ambessa's updated Noxian Trifarix: Vision (intelligence), Might (strength), and Guile (adaptibility), reinforced by Sacrifice. Powder had a natural intelligence from the start, s1 act1-2 was the "arc of might" act 3-s2act1 was Guile---the shimmer and the change from the void created from Silcos death. Finally, sacrifice is brought out by Isha. BUT WHO KNOWS
I had another one : Vander/Warwick embodies exactly the quality Ambessa talks about while Caitlyn and her are sparring : Tunnels in your eyes Lava in your veins Shadows in your heart
Wow this was a great video. I really liked the reflection that as Isha embodies Jinx more the more Jinx embodies Powder. It’s a warped but wholesomeish relationship. They aren’t really solely like sisters, mother daughter, nor mentor mentee. It is a warped blend of all of them. Isha was a survivor with no Vi like figure to shield her. She was all on her own. However, upon meeting Jinx I think she sees a path where running isn’t the only option. Isha has the heart of a fighter (a quality Jinx sees and probably relies on as an emotional crutch) but understands direct confrontation isn’t an option for her. I think originally she wanted to learn from Jinx, and like you said she resonated with Jinx’s ramblings (I also think the wanted posters played a part). This is displayed by her ambush tactics against Smeech’s man. It almost felt like Isha chose to follow Jinx as a mentee/underling. However, somewhere along the line she came to love Jinx. As she chose interposing herself between Vi and Jinx, and later acting as a human shield to deter Caitlin. By the start of act 2 that love is familial in nature with a touch of hero worship. She sees the results Jinx’s actions has on the world and she realizes that fighting doesn’t just have to be a way to stay alive. Probably for once in her life Isha has the breathing room to care about fighting for a cause. A cause that has Jinx as its symbol. However unlike Sevika that isn’t all Jinx is to her. It’s why she wanted Jinx to dye her hair. It has an element of wanting to mimic a cool older sister. On the flip side Jinx sees the inner strength to fight in Isha that she wanted so badly as Powder. It is also why I partially disagree with your take. I believe Isha is who Powder could have been had her attempt to save everyone worked. She could have stoked the spark of that victory into a blazing inner will and self esteem. It’s why Jinx tells Isha she sees Vi in her. She has Jinx’s craftiness and appreciation for gadgets, but when shit gets real she has the resolve to go full send like Vi. It’s what makes her sacrifice all the more tragic. She probably knew Jinx would never leave Vander surrounded by Noxian soldiers. She also watched as this freshly pieced together family was being smashed to pieces by events and people outside of her control, just like how she was before meeting Jinx. However with her new found strength she throws herself into the thick of the fighting. Her sacrifice was done out of love. Partly to save Jinx from possibly dying, but also to save her from having to fight her father. She also does it as an act of mercy to end Vander’s pain and suffering. She just wanted to help (a tragedy made more tragic in how she did it by using three gems to overload the pistol). Yet just like Powder I think she failed to understand the consequences. It was clear she understood she was going to die. I think she underestimated Jinx’s inner strength. A part of me thinks Isha never really saw the self doubt that plagued Jinx. If anything Jinx portrayed aloofness in front of Isha. Like she couldn’t be bothered to spearhead a revolution. She never saw how truly unstable Jinx could be. Isha has no concept of how devastating her death will be to Jinx. She was basically an orphaned street rat, the loss of a loved one might be something she had never experienced. I really hope echo shows up. Like he pops out after Jayce and follows him. He is too late to stop him from killing Victor, but is just in time to save Isha. I doubt it, and understand it would hurt the story, but good writing makes the audience willing to sabotage the story to save a character.
I love Isha so much, and I'm so upset she's dead. However, I do think that her death will be instrumental to act 3; most likely pushing Jinx to do something, or giving her/enforcing an idea. As always, great video. I can't wait for more. Live love Isha 💗(the edit was just a grammatical error, mb)
To be honest (this is very, very hopeful thinking), there is definitely a possibility she survived since it works both ways, whether Isha dies or survives. Either way, it will wake Jinx up and step up since the way I see it is Jinx is this seasons Silco with a daughter figure Power/Isha and Silco did everything to save Jinx so wouldnt it be the same here? Again, this is very hopeful thinking since we all love Isha, but I just think, regardless Jinx will have the same realization after watching her "daughter"/ younger sister nearly die
There's also to note that we haven't seen Ekko, so there's also that just as much as I love Jinx I think she would genuinely lose her mind losing Isha at least with Isha in the background she has a reason to keep fighting, to be sane, to smile and laugh the way she does in the game cause at the end of the day she has Isha
Honestly, I'm okay with Isha dying if it means for the better story (I freaking hate that they made Isha die omg whyy), at least she died like a queen and she'll still be alive in fanarts and fanfictions 🥹🥹
This concept of the hextech adapting to the motivations of the user is interesting. What if Isha's use of the gun on Warwick delivers some kind of hope message? (as you pointed to) I think ultimately Mel will seal Ambessa's fate.
1:25 interesting point, that hextech maybe adapts to how Vi is feeling!! honestly I felt the same with Isha... first I was so confused about the whole scene, but after some time it totally makes sense... Ishas's role, the impact on Jinx further development etc. it's a masterpiece in writing
This video is beautiful. I LOVE this perspective and these two concepts of Vision and Resolve, and how the only true hope is when they combine. It even helped me understand a vicious emotional cycle that's happening in my real life, but I'll save those details for those involved. Isha's ride or die thing was genuinely precious to me, it's important to me, and seeing it explained in a way I never considered made it even better! "But Isha learned that hope comes in strength, and she has a vision to showcase that strength." was so hype ngl?? Instant subscribe. Thank you for showing me even more reasons to love this little gremlin. x3
Everything is about duality in Arcane, this connective tissue throughout the plots is one of the reasons why it’s so good, and what Viktor said about the arcane at the beginning of ep6 - “at once self-replicating and self-annihilating”, this applies to jinx and isha as well
Damn, I didn't realize she died. Then again when it comes to explosions in this series, you don't fully know for sure who got blown up until they show the aftermath later
Great…. But I also don’t agree with the last part. I think jinx and powder go hand in hand. Like what victor said 2 side of the same coin. I think both serve a purpose. I think this will be the catalyst to fight but I don’t think we will see her being like lost..like season one. Her redemption is already happening, when you grow, and “progress” in that way… change.. I don’t think she will go back to that dark place. She had to go Through that to become who she is.. or meant to be. She was always capable of being the hero.. even vi said it. She may access it to be able to fight but she isn’t lost anymore. She never born bad…and thats not her nature…the story started with jinx/powder… and will end with her. I think she will make the biggest sacrifice.
I think one thing you missed is that Vanderwick's downfall to Warwick is not due to Viktor dying, it's because the orange serum that Singed concocted was injected by Singed himself while others are outside, this is evident because you can see Singed's silhouette near Warwick, and the orange liquid effect while Vander is losing control.
I really liked how Jinx become a Powder again beacuse of Isha, she got the chance to heal a part of her again. And its really sad and tragic for Jinx when Isha dies beacuse she wanted to be like her. And Isha sacrifices herself to save who she loves It really made me emotional...
So like iv been siting here in my chair running through thought's and this video basically confirm what I already thought and if i can Focus to get my thoughts to paper i explain why I think that the Jinx we will see in act 3 will be a better version of jinx, reinforced melding of the parts of Jinx & powder form season 1 & Act 1 s2. Looking forward to see the new look and the very Dilibret and directed chaos jinx will unleash, and everything coming full circle.
Isha saved Vander as well. Not just Jinx, Vi and Caitlyn. Vander falling back to the hands of Singed and Ambessa will be the worst that could happen so him getting disintegrated there, I say, is what's best for Him. Isha is cool, Isha is brave, Isha is the best!
Well.... that's an interesting theory, but I'm pretty sure that Jayce designed the gauntlets for mining and so included an automated shield to protect miners from falling rocks and cave ins. So when Sevika leaps into the air and comes down in an attack from above, the proximity of a heavy object falling from above triggered the defense.
i dont think isha sacrificed herself because she thought warwick would kill jinx. But she realised that Vander was gone and that she couldnt allow noxus to take warwick as a weapon and that it would kill jinx for him to be taken and used like that.
This is a great commentary analysis. I've seen too many people on insta and TikTok misunderstanding what isha is all about. they say that she added nothing to the series and was just there for jinx and as a throwaway character when infact there is so much more to the character.
Ishas probably my favorite character since shes the only one with a full, well paced, and complete character arc. Just that her overall story aged a bit poorly since it barely impacted act 3. (Jinx got sad but got over it with one ekko conversation) which might be why people see her as a plot device
Dude act 2 knocked me on my ass, they are putting literally all of the characters in a meat grinder and I'm not about it anymore man. Its too fucking nuts. Like im going to keep watching but my god can we talk about what happened to my boy Viktor 😭😭
I dossgree with the fact they would run away. Its ssid thst they would use warwick as a weapon and it shows they were slowing him down. Vi and powder wouldnt leave him so isha went for the murcey kill to give them a chance to escape. The sean also mirrors powder in S1. Also jinx doesnt have strong feelings towards zaun just resentment towards everything piltover took from her
Yes well said! I think maybe Jinx might spaz out for a little while but the part of her that was Isha will not let her go back in any way. Yes she might widthraw from people or want to be alone but it won't be the same mental state as after clagor and milo died or after Silco died... Also I think Ishas song was perfect because it indicates what Isha wants for Jinx and Jinx up until now hasn't exactly done anything to disappoint Isha or to break any promise or not do what Isha has asked... some stuff like becoming the symbol occured in a roundabout manner but in the end Jinx gave Isha everything Isha wanted. The song's first verse literally being something like "even if its hard and you're scared to do it (the thorns when you're barefoot), still do it.... also the bit about moving the mountain so you could see her sounded like it was saying put aside your difficulties and look at me i.e your healing and finally the part about how the sun sets and night is dark but the darkness makes the moon brighter; meaning your happiness may leave you and the pain might be scary but there's still hope that can arise and it looks so much more beautiful after you've braved the pain.... Gahhh those lyrics got me good! But nonetheless Jinx is doing something more meaningful that isn't crashing out and hiding...at least at the end because for now she has to go through the thorns, the mountains and the dark night
If becuse of her death jinx will just go crazy again instead if being inspired it will be redundant and disappointing. If they wanted her to be crazy they already had enough setup for it...
@@danchiziofficial2159 Thats cause Jinx is narratively written to be the final antagonist, but its important to tease her possibility of redemption to make her actual one not feel forced
Ekko cant rewind time because hes obviously not even near the scene and viktor’s “death” leads to his revelation that humanity is the biggest flaw, ekko rewinding it would make the speech pointless and viktor would have to find some other reason to go full robot
Surely it Warwick survived as he is a well established character in the lore and universe isha must survive if only isha dies it makes her character wasteful
and also Vi holding jinx back to try to save Isha and will also kind of blame Vander going rogue, cuz she tried to calm him again hoping to,, will definitely put a strain of them being a family once again, it would feel like they betrayed her, she'd also blame herself and going full throttle Jinx again
I feel it was underdeveloped, but there was one scene where Maddie turns away from Caitlyn disappointed at the memorial to the councilors, then Singed's speech about love being the reason for most of the world's horrors, it began ticking in her head, both about what Ambessa has said, and what others (Jinx, Vi, Renny, etc...) did. I bet there was a better explanation on the cutting room floor, but was deemed too fatty for the fast lean pace of this season and everything they have yet to go through.
@@lonemotheo1964woah, that’s would have been crazy. Also, could have been a bit of revenge to jinx for killing here mother. But dang, I have no idea how things would work out between Vi and Caitlyn after that. Especially since Vi and Jinx just sorted of started to patch things up
She didn’t switch up tho she still hates jinx but didn’t have grudge against vi. Considering when she saw jinx save her, she said “it’s you” very angry. She also already didn’t trust ambessa. The faults people keep talking about all comes for there lack of comprehension not saying you lack it cause I’m sure you some sound points but a lot others just be talking and not paying attention.
12:23 I know what you mean but I think it’s more about jinx realising the importance of the revolution than completely dismantle her ideas of family, (quite the contrary). Even at the end of season 1, jinx doesn’t really care about the future of Zaun, when she shoots that rocket it’s more an act of rage than a political one. We still see that before she meets Isha, she stays on the side while the drug lords fight for Silco’s place. Of course Isha’s death is going to bring back Jinx, but ultimately I think it’s more going to make her realise the importance of the revolution because without it, no family including her own could ever prosper in Zaun and thus she’s going to embrace the symbol that Isha made for her and realise her crucial part in the movement
I have a bad feeling that there's too much to wrap up. That's my only complaint. I don't trust modern writers to know what the end is. I want to be wrong.
I have a feeling that the last episodes are going to be longer than most of the run time. Idk if the show is confirmed to consistently run episodes the same but that’s how I see the show being able to run its course properly.
I keep seeing people say there too much to end, but like what really is there to end? I can think of like six real topics, four of which are likely gonna come together into one big thing.
Isha is deaf. Isha couldn't hear the music from Sevika's new arm, she couldn't understand why Jinx was dancing. When Isha jumped between Vi and JInx, she was looking at Jinx with the gun pointing at Vi as if Isha looked at Vi she couldn't tell what Jinx was saying. You see Isha and Jinx using sign language between each other several times in the story.
She is deaf, being mute is a byproduct. I have a deaf daughter, and a deaf granddaughter. She is reacting to vibrations. She only reacts to words when see sees people speaking. Her head is always swiveling looking for threats, because she cannot hear them.
Isha is fine. Powder used unstable crystals, Isha did not, see S1E4 Progress Day. Jayce said "It's perfectly safe", when he it with a hammer. I'm sure this is a fakeout.
The Crystal on the tip of Zapp was a raw stone, the cut gemstones were the powersource but it channels through the raw stone. With 3 Gemstones powering the beam the raw stone exploded with enough force to detonate the 3 polished gemstones.
Dude that level of fake out would make some people sooo mad. The Walking Dead and Stranger Things pulled a similar card (Except worse because it was a cliffhanger between seasons) and the fandoms were FURIOUS (Albeit relieved as well.) I mean, I'll be happy, but some of the fandom might feel cheated. Which sounds messed up but it's true. Also the impact frames, dramatic song complete with happy memories reallyyy makes it look like a tragic death scene. But it could be set up that way to fool us.
A couple small corrections. In S2x6 Isha steals Jinx’s gun for her, not a spyglass. Also, Singed injected Vander with the serum that would prevent him being fully saved by Viktor. This can be seen as Singed is standing in the destroyed greenhouse after Warwick bursts out. So while Viktor’s touch was removed, it was not the sole cause of Vander’s regression into Warwick 2.0
For those who keeps saying that Isha's death means the death of Powder, I don't think that's gonna be the case here. It wouldn't make sense to reinforce what was already established in jinx's arc in s1. And no she wouldn't lose her mind completely either, it wouldn't make sense to undo all her development in s1. The point of s1 was for Jinx to descend into madness and then the final moment, shooting the missile into Piltover, was the moment of burning it all down. The reason why we got that song "What couldve been" and strong emotional scene was that Jinx CHOSE to GIVE IN to her mad world. That's why we don't see any "jinx scratches" in s2 unless her close ones are potentially dying, which are reminders of her Powder trauma of killing everyone she gets near. What I think Jinx's arc is: Powder completely (beginning s1) > identity crisis Jinx or Powder? (after timeskip s1 - end s1) > Jinx completely (act 1 - 2 s2) > Fusion/reconciliation of Jinx and Powder (act 3 s2) Isha is what reminded Jinx of the Powder part of herself. I think Jinx will end somewhat in the middle, reconciling her 2 identities and realizing that she doesn't have to abandon one for the other. (a sort of dialectic narrative, with a synthesis at the end)
Yes well said! I think maybe Jinx might spaz out for a little while but the part of her that was Isha will not let her go back in any way. i believe singed will combine not only vander and viktor, but also include isha's dna in the mix some how cause he fucked up and it's hard to separate exploded kid from the rest of it
The force field is less a power up to the gloves and more so an anti-cave in mechanism seeing as the gloves were made for mining I just think Vi doesn’t really know how to use them properly seeing as all she does is punch and I think this furthers the point when back at the memorial when she was using Jayce’s hammer despite being the first person to see it in use right next to her at the factory she didn’t know how to reload a shot which was as simple as twisting the handle a little
All good points I would also like to point out that Jinx mimics Vander in episode 1, when Vi accuses Vander of getting soft. In the same way, Silco couldnt give up Jinx for everything that Jayce offered bc shes his daughter. Jinx has blurry vision bc she loses track of the goal: Free Zaun, and she gains clarity bc she's happier now like her fathers before her. UNLIKE her fathers before her, Jinx outlives her child.
Very nice analysis. Two things though: 1. Isha didn't fetch the spyglass ("Slippery as an eel, I knew you could get it"), she fetched the pistol ("No weapons! The herald insists") - And you had it in your cut one second after you said she fetched the spyglass ;) 2. Isha giving back the strength to Jinx is not really working out in Act 3, is it? Only in E9 she manages to integrate Jinx and Powder into a complete personality, but in the process she drops the look of "Symbol Jinx" and leaves, so Zaun's "Symbol Jinx" (kinda started by Isha) keeps being a Symbol and Jinx doesn't really step into this role. And I think this was the correct way of writing them. Vi and Powder aren't *really* representing Piltover and Zaun fighting, that was Vander and Silco, but they're caught between a rock and a hard place, being forced to take on those roles to survive. Jinx being made a Weapon (and later, the Symbol) by Silco is not creating her character but abuse. Vi joining the enforcers is not her changing sides but just "trying to do the right thing"
I'M SO SCARED BECAUSE I FEEL YOU ARE SO RIGHT

Death can be seen as a force to become a better or a worse person, we’ve already seen Caitlyn take the bad path, and I think Jinx will see the love and the sacrifice Isha made for her, for all of them, Isha will be the inner strength she needs to pull through life with childlike wonder and love.
In season 1 she was saying powder was dead , in season 2 act 2 she said jinx was dead so act 3 she just goes crazy
I feel like isha’s death will give us a powder-jinx combo who leads Zaun and piltover against ambessa and noxus
Also jinx was smart when she gave up her gun and kept the gemstone. Kinda dumb for vi to leave the gemstones inside

I don't think she'll be conflicted... she'll be enraged! Jinx will be in full force
Personally I like to believe Jinx fully took over when Silco died, and we haven't seen Powder since. Imo how Jinx acts in season 2 is not similar to Powder. Jinx just has a different meaning now, Jinx has a good and bad side.
Not conflicted, be whole again
I think Jinx will integrate Powder into herself.
harmonized, not conflicted. (hopefully)
as that was the purpose isha served.
@@cadumartins7213 This season feels ADHD as fuck. Everything goes super fast.

Same thing with the painted gear Viktor drops!
Isha is a champion in my books
I'm still sad about her death tho 😭
part of the reason i love isha so much isn’t just because she’s a cute little kid but it’s because she’s so well written. even though we never hear a word from her we still get so much personality through her movements, expressions, the choices she makes, etc. we’re also close to having entirely no flashbacks or hallucinations from jinx, which usually connects her to the ‘powder’ (more emotional) side of her that she continually tries and fails to shut off. isha is a stark reminder of jinx’s humanity but then ofc she gets ripped away.. anyways i can’t wait to see her break down shave her head like britney and completely crash over this 🤗🤗
While I liked the analogy at 9:46 of her vision getting clearer/blurrier being associated with the spyglass, I think Isha was actually stealing Jinx's Zapper gun back.
You're right. That's mostly why jinx is attached to her, she is both powder and Vi, representing the more innocent and hopeful past they shared.
Jinx actually says that at one point, that Isha reminds her of vi
@@Dan-or6zbno , she said powder
:) also the fact that Jinx's arcs parallel Ambessa's updated Noxian Trifarix: Vision (intelligence), Might (strength), and Guile (adaptibility), reinforced by Sacrifice. Powder had a natural intelligence from the start, s1 act1-2 was the "arc of might" act 3-s2act1 was Guile---the shimmer and the change from the void created from Silcos death. Finally, sacrifice is brought out by Isha. BUT WHO KNOWS
Ohh, good catch!
I had another one : Vander/Warwick embodies exactly the quality Ambessa talks about while Caitlyn and her are sparring :
Tunnels in your eyes
Lava in your veins
Shadows in your heart
Oh my goodness, this is actually a pretty good retrospective of the episode.
Amazing read. One clarification though: when does Jinx say Isha reminds her of Vi? I know in episode 4 she says Isha reminds her of Powder.
@@QuillWorks i dont remember exactly when but she definitely says something like "you remind me of my sister"
Have you seen the Act 3 teaser. Jinx had eyes that looked like it could kill, surrounded by glasses resembling jaws, possibly Warwick's jaws.

Jinx will never be happy because it's necessary for Arcane in order to tell the most tragic story 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Isha was a fighter at heart without the strength of a fighter, Jinx had the strength of a fighter without a goal to fight for
To be honest (this is very, very hopeful thinking), there is definitely a possibility she survived since it works both ways, whether Isha dies or survives.

She also has gain the support and also grown to be able to deal with grief

I for one, want Ekko to save then all. We don't need another repeat of Season 1 episode 3.
A bit of both, the fingerprints did appear on his forehead too
I really liked how Jinx become a Powder again beacuse of Isha, she got the chance to heal a part of her again.

Guys isha is not dead
Well.... that's an interesting theory, but I'm pretty sure that Jayce designed the gauntlets for mining and so included an automated shield to protect miners from falling rocks and cave ins. So when Sevika leaps into the air and comes down in an attack from above, the proximity of a heavy object falling from above triggered the defense.
Yes, first generation hextech is linear functions, but the symbolism is still there and why can't use the shield later
i dont think isha sacrificed herself because she thought warwick would kill jinx.

Different crazy, driven by strength and vision. S1 crazy jinx didn't have vision until silcos died

the end of this video is diabolically psychopathic
Surely it Warwick survived as he is a well established character in the lore and universe isha must survive if only isha dies it makes her character wasteful
and also Vi holding jinx back to try to save Isha and will also kind of blame Vander going rogue, cuz she tried to calm him again hoping to,,
will definitely put a strain of them being a family once again, it would feel like they betrayed her,
she'd also blame herself and going full throttle Jinx again
well uh nvm , would've loved more Jinx than her being gone..
Did Cait switch up alittle too quickly for everyone or is it just me
Yes she did
I feel it was underdeveloped, but there was one scene where Maddie turns away from Caitlyn disappointed at the memorial to the councilors, then Singed's speech about love being the reason for most of the world's horrors, it began ticking in her head, both about what Ambessa has said, and what others (Jinx, Vi, Renny, etc...) did. I bet there was a better explanation on the cutting room floor, but was deemed too fatty for the fast lean pace of this season and everything they have yet to go through.
@@Hawkido yeah I thought she was going to do something really crazy like killing Isha and then realizing she went too far like Jayce

The fact that Isha is mute and she can't be one of the voices inside Jinx's mind

Honestly the only plotline I'm concerned about is the Black Rose/Mel stuff. It just seems so disconnected from everything so far

I just thought she’s nonverbal since she does react seen to sounds
Isha is mute, not deaf
Like Jinx is talking to her all the time
she's mute.
She is deaf, being mute is a byproduct. I have a deaf daughter, and a deaf granddaughter. She is reacting to vibrations. She only reacts to words when see sees people speaking. Her head is always swiveling looking for threats, because she cannot hear them.
All right then, time to watch 4,5,6 :)

9:48 not a spyglass - isha brought zap, Jinxs other gun
Isha is fine. Powder used unstable crystals, Isha did not, see S1E4 Progress Day. Jayce said "It's perfectly safe", when he it with a hammer. I'm sure this is a fakeout.
Well there might've been a hextech crystal that is sticking out of the barrel and we saw it shatter
Momy madarta tryed the refined hex. Yet the goat person reduced to atoms how about that?
But it could be set up that way to fool us.
lmao whatever you say dude
A couple small corrections. In S2x6 Isha steals Jinx’s gun for her, not a spyglass. Also, Singed injected Vander with the serum that would prevent him being fully saved by Viktor. This can be seen as Singed is standing in the destroyed greenhouse after Warwick bursts out. So while Viktor’s touch was removed, it was not the sole cause of Vander’s regression into Warwick 2.0
10:17 Singed snuck in the back to inject Warwick
Isha is teemo 😱
(after timeskip s1 - end s1) > Jinx completely (act 1 - 2 s2) > Fusion/reconciliation of Jinx and Powder (act 3 s2)
Isha is what reminded Jinx of the Powder part of herself.
Add her to the list of Cinnamon Rolls… ✊
i believe singed will combine not only vander and viktor, but also include isha's dna in the mix some how cause he fucked up and it's hard to separate exploded kid from the rest of it
The brainrot in this video helps me cope
Two things though:
1. Isha didn't fetch the spyglass ("Slippery as an eel, I knew you could get it"), she fetched the pistol ("No weapons! The herald insists") - And you had it in your cut one second after you said she fetched the spyglass ;)
