Watch for more close ups of the air intake to see if the throttle body is turned like on the new gen 117 road glide’s
Great video, you have a sharp eye. All this new stuff gets everyone excited until they see the price tag and loan interest rates to buy one. Then the Harley-Davidson bashing videos come out because everyone wants it for free or a lower price. Paint options, controls and possibly new engines are going to be huge price driven increases in the Softail lineup. Good day. For me, the most beautiful Harley is the Low Rider S. I dream of its modern version. If I had the opportunity to decide, I would call it Low Rider DI (from the word display) and it would look like this - I would take the Street Glide as a base and remove the rear fender and install the Low Rider S. Then I would mount the exhaust pipes on one side as in the Low Ride S. I would remove the front fairing with speakers, leave the display and mount a small, neat fairing. Of course, the fairing would be stationary as in the Road Glide. Such a dream of a Harley lover from Europe 😀
Will be a sad day if the Softail Standard gets shelved. I dont want a rev max, nor a used bike. Whole of 2024 i was trying to get a softail standard and no dealership had any stock.
Be nice to see if they have changed the sportster s. Own one so would love to be able to change somethings and hopefully this opens up more of an aftermarket for the back bc it’s seriously lacking compared to the other more established models.
I have a 24 low rider st and they already have an high out put 117. I was wondering if seeing the red accents will they be putting out an CVO version of a low rider st.
I bought a new lowrider ST in 23 in white sand pearl. I just put 22 S instrument gage on my bike with risers. If they in fact do have a larger right side bag I hope I’m able to order from parts and accessories cus that is huge!
I did catch it, but forgot to mention it. This was the new cover for VVT when it was introduced but my non VVT SG has it. I suspect it is just a new standard cover going forward but hard to say.
So new controls? Maybe an IMU so we get rider modes on our ‘25 Softails? I wouldn’t get too excited on a 117 H.O. Lowrider with a cam bump & factory two into one. Remember, the motor company has to deal with EPA & CARB requirements. Any cam will be limp at best. The bigger question is.. are they gonna have water cool heads, I.E. Gen II M8 engines in the 2025 Lowrider S & ST models? Water cool heads with a small cam bump/ 2 into 1 exhaust with catalyst (😐 I know) could make the power go up another 10 or 12ve. Not bad. I was really surprised to find the Fat Boy as an initial carryover on their website (early January ‘25). Harley is usually big into their 35th anniversaries. One big one was in 2006 when they did an anniversary Super Glide to commemorate the 1971 FX Super Glide Boattail. Maybe they’ll do a midyear like you mentioned..
