Definitely appreciate the comment! Thanks! Regarding structure, on this and my drum channel, I always avoid the jams. Like you, those just bore me. So, whole songs by current artists seems to be an antidote.
Hi - Thanks for saying that. I agree 110 percent. To my ears, vocals are an instrument, too. When a creator removes vocals, he/she is at risk of removing an instrument unnecessarily - and all-too-often the creator is left with a composition that has been artificially thinned. On this channel, all that is needed is for the bass to be removed. That's it. I know that most people disagree with me, though. So, I am heartened whenever I meet someone who appreciates the vocals.
@@jamhqbass I definitely agree with you! It also makes more sense if you're practising for live performances. The focus should be on the band as a whole, anyway.
Absolutely. The vocals on these track are a game changer for sure. It completes that "band" feel and adds a level of drive to your playing. Keep these coming guys.
Yup, good point dude. Them vocals bring some nice energy into it. Felt like I was looking around at the band, everybody smiling grooving and head nodding “yes sirrr!”
I only played along to vocal free backing tracks so I was surprised and then got hyped on the beautiful singing. Really gets me motivated to dive deeper into RnB Bass. Thank you very much. Hat lots of fun
Hey - Thanks for the kind words. I am definitely looking for more tracks I can do with vocals, although it has to be with other artists. The current one - Darcey Williams - I have a license for, as well as another of hers that I have already done. I would run into copyright problems, though, if I do any more of hers. However, there are a lot of good vocalists/alternatives out there!
This made me realise we shouldn't just take anything for granted. This track is actually pretty good because it has vocals on it. Thanks to everyone who made this happen! Who sings and who plays that solo?
Her name is Darcey Williams, and the other musicians I think are from a music college in England. So, if I am correct, they are college age. Also, you can find Williams on Spotify. She has since been replaced by a singer named Elsa Hackett who is also quite good. You can find her all over TH-cam, too.
I swear to God that for a while she was singing in brasilian portuguese. Such an amazing song, the melody and rythm...feels like I´m in Ipanema beach, on a sunny day drinking beer and caipirinha😋🍺🍋🍋
Hands down the best bass backing track. My new fender jazz bass loves this. The vocals and the entire experience is awesome. Please upload more like this and thank you 🎉
Yea! I play half a step down so that bridge took me to D. Then came the solo (I also play lead guitar) and that demanded a real strong groove. Thanks man it was like jamming with a real band because I didn't know the bridge was coming (it said so in the description but I just started playin) and during the solo it all came together. As if it is real jamming. It gave me a jolt, thanks!
Well, actually you are correct. The musicians are real humans. They are all college kids from a music school outside of London. the best Bass backing track in TH-cam's History!!
Yeah!! Thanks fo the kind words!!
I agree
Seriously, this track is 10x better than anything else on TH-cam by far. Every bass player is tied of playing to a jam. We need structure!!!
Definitely appreciate the comment! Thanks! Regarding structure, on this and my drum channel, I always avoid the jams. Like you, those just bore me. So, whole songs by current artists seems to be an antidote.
I honestly think it's the vocals that make this so much fun. Everything else is just jam tracks.

Vox-less. Interesting idea. Thanks!

Amazing backing track but does anyone else also think it's made by an AI??
