Loved the series! Would be great to see another Academy challenge in either Ukraine or Sweden. Try to dethrone Shakhtar & Kyiv as no other team as won the top flight since their independence back in 92. Sweden would be great trying to better Graham Potter in taking a team in the bottom division to European glory!
Denmark was the one I went with this time but a few people have said Ukraine and Greece too, so we have options!
What a brilliant save! I've bingewatched it for the last couple of days and it has inspired me to do my own youth academy challenge after my current save and I honestly can't wait!

Your a incredible manager no matter what save it is you make the game look easy and know exactly what you want your team and players to do and also know what the issues are and when to fix them and how to fix them
I think we’re all big football fans to even play a game like this but I want to understand the game as much as possible to be as good as you and other players on your level
I want to be able to tweak my tactics and formations every single game depending on who I’m playing and how the match is going
I dislike the idea of when people just do a tactic and leave it for a whole season or multiple seasons and never adjust anything I want to be able to micro manage the team
But the game is very overwhelming it’s easy to read the player roles and say yeah I want a fullback and a winger and a mezzala
But then you need to understand the pros and cons from these positions but also what they go well with and to cover your teams weakness aswell as attack your opponents weakness
There is also going to be situations where your opponents are passing at a very high % and dominating you and in those situations you personally will know what to do while people like me are just clueless and overwhelmed
I want to know how to spot problems my team is having or weaknesses in my opponent to then make quick changes on the fly automatically because I know what type of instructions and roles that will fix what ever my team is going through at that time
I want to be able to also understand what shouts to use and in what situations
I watch content creators like you and never quite understand why you picked certain roles and adjusted certain things
What I usually do on FM is play a season with a tactic that works and win by just clicking continue and get bored I the real joy is making your own system and tactic and having engaging games where your having to think and analyse how the game is going
The joy of making your own tactic and succeeding is just incredibly uplifting and a general great feeling I’ve done a few before but I don’t truly understand the in depth concept behind it all
And I think that is the issue among alot of new FM players where if you play FIFA you do a 4231 and the system basically plays its self but on FM you will have to know the difference between a Mezzala, DLP, CM etc the weaknesses and strengths and the good combinations to play beside them and at lot of football fans don’t really look that in depth and would label someone a CDM or a CAM but never the actual role or job
If there was a way for people like me who want to transition from FIFA etc to FM and understand FM more in depth then I can imagine a lot more people getting addicted to the game and enjoying it more
It’s like if you picked up a cricket management game now you may know certain position or fielding names but you won’t know the meaning or reason for those roles and what happens when you put them roles side by side in attempt to force a batsman to hit a certain shot hoping to catch him out
It’s the same with FM and I know it will possibly be near impossible for you to try and explain and educate me or others as in depth as I’m asking because it most likely comes to you naturally now
First of all thank you for the fantastic comment and the praise. It does come naturally to me and you are right it is very hard to explain as I have been playing FM for a lot of years now!
The differences between each roles are on a few videos I have done, the tactic series would help a lot as I explain each decision and the impact it will have on other areas.

Congratulations! What a brilliant series and you have to be proud of how you managed this group. To get the challenge done so quickly was mighty impressive. Ive finished binge watching this series and will do the same with the other YO challenge now. I kinda sensed you wanted the save to continue longer to see how the players developed! Maybe if you have time before the end of this FM cycle holiday 10 years into the future and see what these player look like. What a brilliant save and series though and fair play!

Not an FM player, albeit an old Championship Manager player, but have been watching some FM videos recently as keen to get into it and stumbled across this series. Really enjoyed the detail and content, its been quite the journey. My only comment would be to perhaps include a brief list of those players who have played a part, and then depart the club once you move onto the next season e.g. Brenne. A very minor point as the series has been great. Thanks

Super lucky CL title, well done! Definitely doesn't look like a team who would win it when you pulled up their CA/PA but sometimes things roll right.
100%, I think the team cohesion plays a big part in these things, I also got lucky with playing Rennes, I know they had a tycoon but its still no City or Madrid.

I’m actually shocked bianco isn’t a legend. The guy started off in serie C and is now gone on to win everything had a play vital role in all of them games.
I know, he was amazing, came through in the holiday intake which is crazy, never had that before. Livornos answer to Buffon :D

I really enjoyed the series and I watched every episode from 1 to 45!🎉 I would like to see a save at Greece or a build a nation at countries like Iceland, Faroe Islands etc.
A lot of people have said Greece so maybe some point we can sort that out!

Great wrap-up here with showing the player CA/PAs, not really surprised by any, and it looks like you got the best out of everyone, playing them in the right positions, in the right tactic and developing them perfectly. Especially with the wingers, making the most out of Boschetti and Vangioni (shout out to Vantagiatto way back in the day). Also, love how many times you mentioned a possible switch to the back three formation throughout the series, for it to never happen :)
Would have loved to see the Consistency and Big Matches attributes as well for the players who had been around for years, I'm sure they improved quite a bit there.
Glad to see that Bianco, Fino and Gargiulo made it all the way and won the Champions League, with Bianco even getting a 7.5 in the final! I'll bet he had 15+ Big matches attribute.
I dunno how you usually do it, but if you don't plan on playing this save any more, maybe you can upload it somewhere for us to take a look around.
Looking forward to whatever series you start next on TH-cam, and I'll throw in a random recommendation of adding the custom African database and taking on any kind of challenge in a smaller reputation country like Togo for example.
I still have the save if anyone is interested, I could definitely upload it for sure. I like the idea of starting in a different continent too! Something I will definitely do at some point!
@@LewisH90 Yea, I'd love to get my hands on the save just for research purposes. To peek behind the curtain a bit at the hidden attributes and how much they developed since I never get my saves that far into the future as I play too slowly
