I think the 1979 High School Class can also be mentioned. There was Isiah Thomas, Dominique Wilkins, James Worthy, Ralph Sampson, Byron Scott, Sam Bowie, John Paxson.
Went to HS with Shammgod at La Salle, he was a wizard with the ball, could not be guarded and had tremendous court awareness. Wish he would have stayed at Providence 1 more year to work on his shooting... but can't blame him after he destroyed Mike Bibby and Arizona in the NCAA's
If you really went to school with him that’s pretty cool Ive modeled my whole game after his only I’m 6’4 I’m developing everyday look out for me one day
Traylor, Albert White, Kevin Garnett, Louis Bullock all to Michigan joining Maurice Taylor, Maceo Baston, Jerod Ward, and Willie Mitchell.. Man I wished that could've worked out
I worked at the Sears in the Ann Arbor Briarwood Mall in 1995, and I carried out a computer for Robert Traylor to Louis Bullocks' car. Later, I was visiting my high school friend in the UM freshman dorm when all of the players came strolling through the lobby. Traylor is by far the largest human being that I've ever seen up close.
Garnett almost joined my Jayhawks with Pierce I heard on KG's new Documentary. They both played on same summer team. (The Truth tried get The Ticket to come to KU) KU would've had Garnett go along with two 1st Team All Americans in Pierce & LaFrentz. Plus future NBA players Jacque Vaughn/Scot Pollard/Greg Ostertag.
I was at this game and this is my first time watching the tv broadcast. I didn't remember that half of those famous names where there! Paul Pierce? Shammgod???Vince Carter? Chancy? Even Ron Mercer! Damm! I was so focused on Garnett, Starbury and Ryan Robertson (my brother played against him for three years), that those dudes slipped passed me! I'm pissed!..lol
Maybe if u call getting to make a good living as a basketball player becoming a future nobody. There's at least 5 nba players on his team and a few overseas players
Wow, what a show those guys put on! So many high flyers, so many future NBA stars. Fascinating that they took so few 3 pointers, they really pack the paint. I’m here because Chris Vernon on The Mismatch podcast said to watch it 😂
im from cassville wisconsin..its the hometown of sam okey, sam okey tied magic johnsons total points scored as a freshman in the big ten...sam went to university of wisconsin
2 players in starting lineup out Kansas City metro area. Then best player in Kansas City was a Freshman in High School in 95. JaRon Rush.....another sad sad story. Rush was on 98 McDonald's team
The closest class as far as overall talent that can rival 1995 is the 1979 class that had Dominique Wilkins, Clark Kellogg, Isiah Thomas, James Worthy, Antoine Carr, Greg Kite, Sidney Lowe, John Paxson, Ralph Sampson, Byron Scott.
Garnett was the best player in the country couldn't get good grades couldn't qualify for college had to jump in the draft. Shareef was no. 2 rank in the class
Ron Mercer won the Naismith that year, and was ranked #1 that year by Bob Gibbons. He had Mercer and Kevin Garnett both 98 out of 100, but felt that Ron was better at his position than Kevin was at his.
@@GladiatorWC it’s that phenomenon that when you’re spoiled, you don’t try hard. Michigan had an embarrassment of riches in 96. Traylor, Maurice Taylor, Maceo Baston, Albert White. All McDonald’s all Americans.
I predict that young kid kevin garnett will skip college and try his luck in the upcoming nba draft. I try to guess what team is gonna pick him 🤔? Minnesota timberwolves.
We're all 44-46yrs old now.
Class of 95 baby!
"Ain't no such things as half-way crooks.."
Very well said sun‼️‼️‼️💯💯💯🔥🔥👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
My class of 95 we the best miss those high school years man how time fly by young to middle age man know thank god to see 46 yrs of age.
I graduated high school in 1995, same as these guys. Knowing that nearly all of them have retired from long careers makes me feel old.
Nothing wrong with being old
GenX Is like a a FINE WINE
Look at all GOAT athletes in said pro sports?
Lol..ALOT best players were GenX'ers!
The amount of talent in this class was unreal
Plus the had legit style that's more than relevant to this VERY DAY 27yrs later!
Best Class Ever 😎
My math teacher is Derrick hood
Hands down the best high school class of all time.
Agreed i was at this game
Don't forget about God Shammgod on the Bench for the East
I think the 1979 High School Class can also be mentioned. There was Isiah Thomas, Dominique Wilkins, James Worthy, Ralph Sampson, Byron Scott, Sam Bowie, John Paxson.
@@2822MJ That class was good, the '95 class had 10 legitimate all-stars. They're not even close.
@@dy120481 I'm not sure but ronnie Fields was on the all-star game? I know the car accident fucked him up
RIP Robert Traylor
Murray Wright high school in Detroit Michigan

Sdot23BK facts my Lord, u know your shit respect for thar
Got any vid on Shammgod, or even memorable stories of him breaking down people on the court?
Tru story him and artest were beast at LaSalle ...I went to Mount Saint Michaels he hurt my school 4 str8 years
If you really went to school with him that’s pretty cool Ive modeled my whole game after his only I’m 6’4 I’m developing everyday look out for me one day
Sham & Ron Artest @ La Salle was crazy back then. NYC HS bball had so much talent, and most of them didn't leave to go out of state to prep schools.
Traylor, Albert White, Kevin Garnett, Louis Bullock all to Michigan joining Maurice Taylor, Maceo Baston, Jerod Ward, and Willie Mitchell.. Man I wished that could've worked out

Baston and Bullock were stars in Europe. And I remember Ward as a great player but lacked IQ
RIP big tractor
Worked out for them financially

"AND TO THINK VINCE STILL HANGING ON RIMS"!!! 💪💪
What a thrill to watch this. Thanks for posting.
one of my favorite classes! watching this compared to the 90 class for example, is night and day.

Gotta hit the tracking button on the VCR.
DozaLand BaityBoy damn memories son
I remember watching this game as Garnett simply dominated
My #1 McDonald's All American teams
Good memories. I remember watching this game when I was a kid. Taymon Domzalski is from my hometown, Lovington NM.
Kevin Garnett squad was a bunch of future nobodies..
Maybe if u call getting to make a good living as a basketball player becoming a future nobody. There's at least 5 nba players on his team and a few overseas players
What are you ?

Class of 88 still the best all time led by Alonzo Mourning, Billy Owens, Sean Kemp, Chris Jackson now Abdul Rauef. This one is second.
LoL
You named 2 All-Stars. This class had 10 All-Stars and at least 5 HOF'ers. They're not even close.
@@dy120481 You mean 7 All stars only 3 HOF'ers. Billups Garnett and Pierce are locks. Marbury Carter and Jamison are not.

I see u Sham
Always thought Ron Mercer would be better too, always liked his game
Stephon marbury went on to have a great career !!
Pretty good.
Kevin Garrett said he was going to Michigan but he went to the NBA greatest power forward to ever play
Duncan and Barkley were better. I despise Karl Malone but he was better. Giannis is better.
@jamesleverentz6294 Give me Big Ticket handled the ball better and passed better to me than Giannis and had a better shooting touch
Crazy too how Starbury Big Ticket would be teammates with the T-wolves
I don't know about ALL THAT!!!🤔🤔🏳️🆘💯
Sam okey from my state wisconsin
That west team only had 1 name i recognized in the starting lineup
kevin, vince, paul,..steven, they are still playing ,wow, like them
Don't forget Chauncey Billups (at 28:49). But he retired a few year ago.
Paul pierce
Rock Chalk Jayahwks!
Had 2 players out this 95 class
best dunk of the game ruined by a shitty camera angle. way to go!
1:03:35 25/6 years ago is now
Tom Brady's class of 95.
Can someone remaster this??? To 1080p.
25:12 What about Kris Clack doe!!!
Sam Okey = GOAT
Garnett was the best player in the country couldn't get good grades couldn't qualify for college had to jump in the draft.
Shareef was no. 2 rank in the class
Ian Baxley actually he did qualify but he submitted to the draft by the time he found out.
Ian Baxley Steph Marbury was #1 until Final ranking given by Garnett but he was #2
Ron Mercer won the Naismith that year, and was ranked #1 that year by Bob Gibbons. He had Mercer and Kevin Garnett both 98 out of 100, but felt that Ron was better at his position than Kevin was at his.
Isiah Thomas told KG to go pro. he tells the story all the time
And for the swag the t shirt and the jersey you ain't lived till
What year did shammgod play
He's in this game
he is 12 shamond wells before name change
Tractor Traylor was supposed to be better than Karl Malone but, they had too much talent at Michigan they just cruised through it all.
NOT A CHANCE
And he sucked
You are the only person in the history of basketball who's ever said that.
So much talent that none of em did shit in nba
