- In today's video we come back on a very impressive timepiece seen a bit earlier this year, the full sapphire Bovet Récital 26, knows as the Brainstorm One. We had the great opportunity of filming some behind the scenes of its making and I seriously think that it's just a very sweet and nice way to close up in style our watchmaking coverage of 2019.
This timepiece is not yet another sapphire example of what we have seen over the last few years, as it presents some true originality, not mentioning exposing in a rather flamboyant movement.

I think they should consider marketing this very practical watch as a "Motorcycle".
The case has that much needed tilt so you can read the time without rotating your wrist too much.
You describe the case as very strong which would be great if one fell.
The ten day power reserve is another ideal feature.
Personally when I ride often my wrist doesnt move enough to
Keep an automatic wound and ten days would be great.
I have tried to avoid quartz watches ,but not always succesfully.
I do have a Giugiaro design motorcycle watch
Not sure about the shock resistance of the super kool tourbillon, but I would take the chance.
Put me down for the" Bovet motorcycle watch".

great timepiece ! the case design is very clever because it's a lot 'simpler' then it's looks like + and lot more wearable then most Bovet cases. +++++

A work of art really; I guess this is what watches like this are really these days, wearable art. But as an engineer myself I am really interested in the machining required to manufacture that sapphire case.
