Whilst I definitely can appreciate and respect the almost unfathomable craftsmanship of this piece, I wouldn't be brave enough to even touch it. Thanks for the presentation.
Ah, you'd be fine. They'd probably give you gloves. As a platinum piece, you can imagine that it has a good deal of heft to it, which is interesting to contrast with the ridiculous intricacy of the movement.
Brian, thanks for this. How cool for you to be able to attend their grand opening AND get your hands on that amazing piece! I was just at the Wynn last fall and walked through the shops very quickly - bummed and had I known that they had a Watches of Switzerland shop, I would have spent major time there!! Once our world is back to "normal" - a visit is in order! You put it perfectly that just to behold such an exquisite and hugely complicated creation like that, regardless of price, is something to marvel at. I will never cease to be amazed at what man can create. :-)
At 400,000, I feel this watch presents so, so, so much more value than the equivalently priced Jacob & Co watches like the astronomica and twin turbo furious. This feels like a true masterpiece of engineering, rather than an excess of design and spectacle.
Nice review! Support and feature great watches. By all means i hope you keep it that way so we wont see in the near future a "Vincero suggestion/option" from you. Promote quality. Great video as always!
Many thanks! Oh, if you knew me from the HSS website or Instagram, you'd know that I wouldn't touch stuff like MVMT, Invicta, DW, Vincero, et. al with a 10-foot pole. I have turned down large sums of money from some of those players and while it maybe wasn't the best move for my pocket book in the short term, my integrity and brand image is way more important than that. I've worked with the likes of Vacheron, Lange, JLC. What would my friends at those brands think if they saw me hawking a DW?! No thanks!
@@hespokestyle That was a great response! I 've just starting following you so i didn't know your perspective about that matter. This path is difficult although you 'll gain subscribers that love quality stuff over mass production/ lower quality products and you'll create a nice community with the same passion as yours. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, man! Been at it for six years on the web and IG. I've had the TH-cam channel for that long as well, but I felt it was time to get serious about it. Honestly, I'm pretty down on Instagram at the moment. It's gotten to the point where anyone who learns how to pose, has a nice camera and/or a photographer who can edit well can be an "influencer". It's so disposable. And people can literally fake it 'til they make it--I know several of them--without having any real knowledge or anything to say at all other than, "look at me!". You can't mask that on TH-cam--what you see is what you get, unless you're a fantastic actor. The space is coming due for a reckoning and, for me, this is the way to distinguish one's self.
It's an old Brooks Brothers Black Fleece shirt, size BB0. They killed the line about three or four years ago so this exact shirt isn't made anymore, sadly. One of the best OTR OCBDs I've ever worn.
470000$ You can't afford such things by honest work, without scamming and manipulating people. Simple as this: those who can own this are criminals. Political, financial, drugdealers etc.

@@hespokestyle And heft is something I strive for in life :)

That Bovet is a work of art.
Indeed. Crazy!
that's art, a sculpture that tells time on your wrist . that's awesome. and it's cheap considering, I've looked up smaller ones for more
Wow. That is a thing of beauty
I know, right? Absolutely incredible.
Gonna buy this watch for my collection next year
"Our daily trip around the sun" made me giggle
Not meaning to put you on the spot or anything but where exactly did you hear that earth take a daily trip around the sun🌞
I'd be nervous to pick it up lol.
Nah, you'd be fine. 😉
wait i know i might be asking something stupid but how do you tell which hour it is?
My guy Brian first on the saxophone now on that Bling bling lol
Definitely an investment piece
More like a museum piece!
stunning.
Perfect one-word description.

What's the blue button down shirt u are wearing Brian?

I am in love
Hold on sir. Did you say 24 hours signifies the Earth's daily trip around the Sun?
Lol i noticed the same lol
How the hell do you tell the time???
Can u tell time with it?
Haha! Of course!

Awesome video, thanks Brian! Are you still in the armed forces?
Thanks for the comment. Really appreciate it.

If you actually WORK hard you CAN have that kind of money honestly, but I wouldn't expect you to understand that.
Not my cup of tea it looks like something from outer space!!
Yeah, not something I would personally wear or buy, if I could afford it. But you have to respect, no, BOW DOWN to the horological wizardry.
Firstly: Show the watch on a wrist. Secondly: show the watch from the side so one can the thickness. What's the matter with you???
