I think in some countries you don’t need autopsies, death certificates and embalming

Attempted murder is a pretty serious crime.

They were going to bury her alive. There is a special place in hell for them

This is such a heartbreaking story. It takes great strength to open up about such personal pain. I'm truly sorry for what you and Olivia went through, but I'm glad she is safe now. Your resilience is inspiring, and I wish you both love and healing in the days ahead.

I would of called CPS and went to court to get full custody of her grand daughter

I wish they had given her to you from the start. Oh, and my children slept with us during their early infancy. It's easy to tell when they want their own space.

Don't you need a death certificate?

Usually. I was an RN Supervisor in a Skilled Nursing Facility…and we had people die every day-because we also had a hospice unit in our facility. In some cases, I’d have to wait until morning before a doctor would come to sign the death certificate. I can easily see how the certificate could be “misplaced”, either accidentally OR purposely…

It’s terrible but then people do awful things. Olivia was half starved so became ill.

Such stupidity of criminals to write down their plans and just leave it where it can easily be found. And to admit such criminal intent to someone who obviously sympathises or cares a lot for their intended victim. Haayysst!
For the record, that was also clearly premeditated murder.

Not in this day and age. The corpse would be embalmed so if the grandchild came back to life, I am sure the funeral home would have been the ones to here the noise.

These days, not all people are embalmed. My home state (NY) allows “green burials”-meaning on certain lands, no embalming or vault is done on that deceased person. It’s up to the family, in other words…please check your FACTS before making blanket statements. I know most states do NOT have green burials, but some do. We are actually going to use a facility that specializes in green burials…

Embalming is only legally required under specific circumstances, like transporting the body across state lines.

I notice that many of these "Revenge" stories on TH-cam originate in Japan, though they use Western names (usually mispronounced😁!) Could it be possible that the embalming laws are different from those in the US? Just wondering...

Maybe they just bought a coffin and put Olivia in the coffin. It doesn’t appear that she was taken to a funeral home. Also bout a burial plot to bury her.

This so unbelievable, but I know things like this have happened. There are people out there that really shouldn’t have children. I’m glad these two had a loving and caring grandmother to take them in, and give them the love they needed.

This scares me so much, how many children did this happen to. Now the body would have been embalmed.

The Story sounds like it's taken place in China during the one-child-only law in place. It sounds as it, if true, could have taken place in asia. Embalming is not everywhere as common as in USA. Bribing a doctor would have added another, may be unwanted, layer to the Story,
