@@AbbieEaton nice, so really it's an Opel Commodore & not actually a Holden? Most of them in those days were actually designed by Opel GM in Europe, and most of the commodores back then were converted for racing, not many VHs left over here. Btw hopefully we can have you back over here in Straya for another supercars race. Perhaps Bathurst 1000 wildcard with Simona?!
With you running that thing hard,.. the way it's meant to be driven.... Someone needs to get a Dick Johnson XD or XE Falcon over there, be great to see them getting a proper comparison to the euro competition of the time.
Warms this Australian’s heart to see a big banger VK being so well driven in the old dart. 👍
Lovely to watch a skilled pro at work
Lightning fast reflexes keeping that thing straight coming out of corners.
I'd be pirouetting down the track.
A beast !! And a commodore .
Love all these recent uploads!
So glad I found this channel. That was mesmerizing
The wing on that thing in front of you is outrageous.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing Abbie! :)
A great piece of Aussie muscle. Sounding good and driven well.
Growl of a mahoosive V8 sounds awesome 👌
When was a 5 litre mahoosive?
@@PiDsPagePrototypes it's big enough for a race car of that type and era it came from.
Thanks Abbie great fun great track :))
Nice laps, dude! Is that a VK?
Thanks for the upload.
Your videos are awesome! U deserve more subs! 👌🏻👌🏻
The big block commo!
Small block, 308.
Thanks for the video. Just curious, do the car only use old parts or do you let you have "new tech" stuff ? have fun !!!
Abbie you should head over to NASCAR racing. I seriously think you'd kick their arses.
What model holden is this ? VL ?
1983 VH
cool. what engine?
That era CrummyDoor had 253 and 308 available stock, all the racecars had the 308. Same basic race setup going back to the Torana's in the late '70's.
💥💥💥💯💯💯💨💨💨👏👏👏
Do you know what model, year, history of car?
VH, 83ish, car has no history - was a bit of a shed! So my dad stripped it down and built it from the ground up again.

@@ALLRNDCRICKETER no it’s a Holden - we imported it from Aus :-)
@@AbbieEaton that's awesome, glad to see some Aussie heritage living well overseas.
What's your opinion on the Bathurst wildcard idea???
First corner seemed a bit off!
