When we first started out, I'll admit I did use some "Dollar Tree organization." However, as time went on and our needs changed I decided to invest in higher quality items. The Home Edit from Walmart is amazing! The material withstands my children's abuse and it is very aesthically pleasing. I love it!
I love organizational products that are aesthetically pleasing because I find that I tend to put things back where they belong if they look nice. I have since started to pick up items on clearance from HomeGoods and TJ Maxx and store them until I need them.
That’s a great point… I guess I never thought about it that way! I do tend to keep areas organized longer if I’m in love with how they look and if it looks aesthetically pleasing
I feel like it is the season of closet cleanouts! I just started decluttering my closet too. I’m in the middle as far as price I’ll spend on organizing. I generally try to find a cost friendly option. But here and there will splurge if I know it’ll hold up better, that’s usually for larger things like shelves. I have always bought the same bins for my apts and houses. I use them in different areas and for different reasons but they are the same. Clear in kitchen and living areas and grey in bathroom and bedroom. It looks nice and neat and I don't have to worry about it. Less stress better home

I love watching decluttering videos. To answer your question, I think the price is important but it has to have the quality. Dollar tree organization can be ok but it depends on what. Not everything there is great so you have to pick and choose. I would love to see more organization videos from you, using budget friendly but quality organizers.

We moved two years ago and got rid of the dressers and put those wood 6 cube organizers in our closets with the pull out bins. For our kids and us and they work great! I have all my tops hanging but bras, underwear, swimsuits, jeans, shorts all have bins. Then I just use the top shelf in my closet for all my shoes lined up. Nice shoes anyway. The rest are in the garage on shoe racks. My kids each have 9 cube organizers in their rooms where their dresser would have been for trinkets, stuffies, books, blankets, etc that they use as their tv stands as well. It works great! I organized their playroom as well with the cube organizers and bins. One of the Best decisions I ever made!

I’m old as dirt, retired school teacher, a little ocd…I organize with clear plastic containers, cheaper the better…I am a T-shirt/ jeans woman but have a few church/party things. I just threw away all of my old teaching shoes(about 20 years old). All were broken in some ways. I wear clothes until threadbare. I hate to shop and since I’m old, I wear what’s comfy. Life is good in Mississippi! Love your videos.
Boy I've been waiting for this video this is great that's a good idea to use them because that way when you want something out of your cover you can just grab it and not knock everything else down with it because I have my stuff pound on the top shelf kind of like by organization all this sweaters like over your head all this sweater is the button you know so forth and so forth but that is a great idea because you could take the container down get what you need and not everything is falling on the ground I really like that and even putting in your drawers is a great idea too keep stuff organized like I said I really like watching your videos and I like how family-oriented you are
I love organization videos. I appreciate that you do it onna budget. I can't afford the expensive, "in" now organizers that a lot of you tubers purchase. I like dollar tree, tjmaxx, marshals, Homegoods, wal mart & target finds for organizing.

Hi Jamie.. I’m definitely with you on the tank tops. I typically get mine from Walmart for like $2-$3 or Kohl’s clearance section. Like you I wear them for EVERYTHING… sleep, casual, errands, cleaning with some shorts, sweats etc. 😂 and they are super comfortable. I recently went to Dollar Tree to organize my linen closet upstairs and it’s super affordable and convenient because they have cute containers and tons of supplies to label.
It used to be hard for me to get rid of things. I now ask myself, if we were to move do I really need it and when was the last time I used it. Trying to every 6 months go through everything. I buy my organizational stuff for how I wanted it to look. I’ve learned so much from you.

This was so motivating , I know what you mean by having alone time do what has to be done, I'm a care taker for my sister we are constantly with each other she recently started a day program for people with disabilities for right now she goes 2 days a week in person which is good for her but also I get some time for me , I can't wait to some videos from the new house , I finally tried using resolve carpet cleaner on my grout in my bedrooms I wasn't able to find the foaming one it get it in the spray it works great I'm liking it so far

I am definitely both ways, sometimes I'll spend the money for specific organizing projects but sometimes I really need it to be budget friendly organization so I totally get it!
It sounds like that’s how a lot of people feel too! Most people say they go “higher end” or spend more money when it’s something that’s in the open or even something in the kitchen. But for other areas, people like going budget friendly!
I am so loving your video this far,especially seeing all the decluttering when I do it in my closet and declutter and all those hangers are loose on the floor I know that I have really done some decluttering and that just makes my day I know it does yours.

Hello Jaime, I'm watching your videos while my girls and I battle Covid. We lost our appetite and have just been relying on soups. I had the Iv infusion but my girls are on the antiviral pills. I don't have much energy but managed to throw so lines in the wash. Their dad has taken over the dishes & trash. I don't know if you realize it but watching your videos are so uplifting to some. Someone out there is having a bad day, week, or month but your voice is so soothing. You give out the best cleaning tips and make us feel better. It's okay if the house is in chaos but if we get something done, then we accomplished something. I also love how you are not into spending a lot of money. You find things from the dollar tree for organization ideas. In other words, we don't have to spend a lot of money. Sometimes we can use what we already have. This is why you are by the far number one cleaning channel and TH-cam mom. You keep things real including the mess plus how things aren't perfect. Thank you for always being genuine!
I love super low budget organizing.a lot of times I would purchase on Amazon then fall out of love with the system after a while. But what I purchased cost too much to give/throw away. Dollar tree products…I don’t feel bad for throwing away $1 bins or repurposing them in another area of my home. Thank you for this videooooo!!!

Hi Jamie! As far as organizing, I’m on a super tight budget and I love seeing Dollar Tree options. Sometimes I get specific organizing items from Amazon, Target, or Walmart that fit into our budget as well so I’d love to see if you find other organization items that you like too! Love your videos, they’re so motivating! I have chronic illness that is very debilitating but when I have low pain days and enough energy, I love to clean and organize.
Bless you ,I get every other week home alone ,, hubby works shifts and my two oldest go to thier day center every day ( they both have Fragile X ) ,it is strange to start of with having the house quite but it's kinda nice to , enjoy some you time 🙂
Loved todays video! I’m so glad you brought up about how long it takes to get things done! I’ve been working on my house all week. We are flying out Saturday! Yay! Troy got the ok to fly. Going with our daughter and her family and we are taking our sons three kids with us. Going to Ashley’s condo in Anna Maria Island ! I’m so excited! No worries. Just beach time. Ahhh!! Hi Jamie, so nice to see you again! I've had a pretty stressful week, because my company closes in August for the holidays, and so now it is a very very hectic time with so much stuff to do, so much stress to deal with. It's always so refreshing and motivating to see your videos... even now that my living room is trash, because we got some packages today and my dog tore some of the boxes to pieces and drop them all over the place. My stamina is pretty much zero, but I know that tomorrow I will absolutely have to deal with that. But hey, it is Friday and everything is possible on Fridays!! 😃😃
Our dresser is in our closet and it makes putting laundry away easy. I like organizing with a combination of dollar tree and high end depending on what’s available and what fits.

A funny thing when decluttering, a person can’t think how did it get away from you being messing and how much a person can accumulate. I got rid of a lot of clothes last year…and I’m DEFINITELY a tank top girl too. (Those Target ones are the BEST!) Our house has some Dollar Tree, but we also have lots of Target and Walmart bins (I love the Home Edit line), stuff from Amazon, and a few things from The Container Store. The older I get, the less trouble I have getting rid of things. 😁 BTW…HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you and Mike! ❤️❤️❤️
Jamie, Thank you for sharing as always. Organization in a household by household is always different. I found a lot of trial and error with organizing and getting a good system going. I tend to use items from the dollar tree, Amazon and Walmart depending on what I need and my budget at the time. For an example I will spend a little more for air tight containers for food storage vs organization for a drawer I will spend less. Kids seem to always collect so much stuff. When my kids were younger I would clean at least every month when they weren't home to just declutter. I've seen a few ways of organizing chargers for electronics. One is the dollar store eye cases and labeling what charger it is and the other is using an over the door organizer with pockets.( This particular organization I have used for kids school supplies of pens, markers, pencils, etc..which has worked well. I can see what we have and kids can get what they need.) Everyone has their favorite go to clothes. I tend to organize something similar to you but each section I put in color order looks nice. A suggestion for all of those tank tops and to give a little more room is a tank top or cami organizer. Each one holds at least four tanks. Found on Amazon and has made a big difference in my closet. I am definitely both ways, sometimes I'll spend the money for specific organizing projects but sometimes I really need it to be budget friendly organization so I totally get it!
It sounds like that’s how a lot of people feel too! Most people say they go “higher end” or spend more money when it’s something that’s in the open or even something in the kitchen. But for other areas, people like going budget friendly!
I am so loving your video this far,especially seeing all the decluttering when I do it in my closet and declutter and all those hangers are loose on the floor I know that I have really done some decluttering and that just makes my day I know it does yours.

Right now, I have Covid with an autoimmune disorder so my OCD is kicking my butt because my apartment looks awful but I haven't left my bed in days. I don't even have sheets on my bed right now. Thank you for this video because it made me feel so much better!
Hello Jaime, I'm watching your videos while my girls and I battle Covid. We lost our appetite and have just been relying on soups.
I had the Iv infusion but my girls are on the antiviral pills.
I don't have much energy but managed to throw so lines in the wash.
Their dad has taken over the dishes & trash.
I don't know if you realize it but watching your videos are so uplifting to some. Someone out there is having a bad day, week, or month but your voice is so soothing.
You give out the best cleaning tips and make us feel better.
It's okay if the house is in chaos but if we get something done, then we accomplished something.
I also love how you are not into spending a lot of money. You find things from the dollar tree for organization ideas.
In other words, we don't have to spend a lot of money. Sometimes we can use what we already have.

I love super low budget organizing.a lot of times I would purchase on Amazon then fall out of love with the system after a while. But what I purchased cost too much to give/throw away. Dollar tree products…I don’t feel bad for throwing away $1 bins or repurposing them in another area of my home.

Hi Jamie! As far as organizing, I’m on a super tight budget and I love seeing Dollar Tree options. Sometimes I get specific organizing items from Amazon, Target, or Walmart that fit into our budget as well so I’d love to see if you find other organization items that you like too!
Love your videos, they’re so motivating! I have chronic illness that is very debilitating but when I have low pain days and enough energy, I love to clean and organize.

Going with our daughter and her family and we are taking our sons three kids with us. Going to Ashley’s condo in Anna Maria Island ! I’m so excited! No worries. Just beach time. Ahhh!!

Hi Jamie, so nice to see you again! I've had a pretty stressful week, because my company closes in August for the holidays, and so now it is a very very hectic time with so much stuff to do, so much stress to deal with. It's always so refreshing and motivating to see your videos... even now that my living room is trash, because we got some packages today and my dog tore some of the boxes to pieces and drop them all over the place. My stamina is pretty much zero, but I know that tomorrow I will absolutely have to deal with that. But hey, it is Friday and everything is possible on Fridays!! 😃😃

Our dresser is in our closet and it makes putting laundry away easy. I like organizing with a combination of dollar tree and high end depending on what’s available and what fits.
Using dish buckets for storage is brilliant. I'm going out today and picking some up. Thank you for the great tip!

I got rid of a lot of clothes last year…and I’m DEFINITELY a tank top girl too. (Those Target ones are the BEST!) Our house has some Dollar Tree, but we also have lots of Target and Walmart bins (I love the Home Edit line), stuff from Amazon, and a few things from The Container Store. The older I get, the less trouble I have getting rid of things. 😁 BTW…HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you and Mike! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for sharing as always. Organization in a household by household is always different. I found a lot of trial and error with organizing and getting a good system going. I tend to use items from the dollar tree, Amazon and Walmart depending on what I need and my budget at the time. For an example I will spend a little more for air tight containers for food storage vs organization for a drawer I will spend less. Kids seem to always collect so much stuff.
When my kids were younger I would clean at least every month when they weren't home to just declutter.
I've seen a few ways of organizing chargers for electronics. One is the dollar store eye cases and labeling what charger it is and the other is using an over the door organizer with pockets.( This particular organization I have used for kids school supplies of pens, markers, pencils, etc..which has worked well. I can see what we have and kids can get what they need.)
Everyone has their favorite go to clothes. I tend to organize something similar to you but each section I put in color order looks nice. A suggestion for all of those tank tops and to give a little more room is a tank top or cami organizer. Each one holds at least four tanks. Found on Amazon and has made a big difference in my closet.
