This game felt like the end of Florida as a powerhouse in college football. Although the true ending was in the SEC title game the year prior, you still felt as if Florida was top tier. This time, they went on to finish with 5 losses. Dominating win by Alabama.
I never think that way about the good schools that have good programs. Yeah, what's his name "?" the coach left & ended up at Ohio State after a while. He said it was cuz he was having heart problems. But I think it was simply he didn't have the heart ♥ to have to play against Bama with Nick Saban at the reins to be able to win a conference championship. He made the right choice. The Big10 was a much easier grind for a coach that has as much trouble staying focused on the next game as his players. A good Ohio State team can have a bad week & still win on Saturday. If a team has a bad week in the SEC... the SEC teams, they can smell blood in the water like a shark & make any team pay hard!!

How is it dominating if you are playing a bad team? To me, the word means a strong win over a good opponent.
He only beat Saban at Ohio State because Kiffins stubborn ass wouldn't run Derrick Henry who was gashing Ohio States defense the few times he did touch the ball.
We will all miss that SEC intro, but imo most won’t miss Gary Danielson.
Thank you for uploading these games, both wins and the losses. It’s a thrill to see Alabama greats on the field in what once was SEC CFB.
Danielson is an excellent play by play analyst. Give me an example of what he said in this game you didn't like. Please expose your pathetic loyalty to Saban.
The FLA. coach was so upset he left after the season of this game cause he knew his ability to win in SEC was gone . Funny, it could not happen to a better person .

I remember this early season night game. A lot of hype naturally because these were the two previous national 🏆.But it was a transition year for the Tide as they kept their undefeated streak and #1 ranking going in this game. But on the way to three losses themselves and lo and behold that South Carolina game the next week on October 9th. This was a game I watched with mom. I remember going in another room and playing the EA Sports College Football 2011 game when this one got out of hand. It got ugly in a hurry.
OMG!!! I'm not sure how many saw Brantley get the sandwich hit from the 2 Bama defenders on 4th down? Man, if that had been me, they would have had to carry me off the field! I seriously don't think I could have moved after that hit for a good five to ten mins.
Why was Florida only ranked 7th? They were 4-0 and had won every game comfortably. As it turned out they were not even a top 25 team but given how good they had been in recent years I'm surprised they were not ranked in the top 3.
They hadn't played anyone until Bama. And then finished the Season 8-5.
And they had mediocre performances vs teams like Miami (OH), and South Florida during that 4-0 stretch. They fell in the AP polls because of those performances, and surprisingly, because the AP never gets it right.
And when Barron came on a blitz he could have destroyed the QB, however he arm tackled him & just threw him to the ground. That is a player that's been taught how to win with class rather than dirty pool. And I say that because many, many times I have seen A LOT OF DIRTY PLAY FROM FLORIDA PLAYERS!!! And I personally think that the Florida alumni should stand up & say something about it. Specifically trying to hurt someone is not right, especially trying to poke someone in the eye during a pile up. Or someone's shoe coming off, so the Florida player throws it down the field. I do believe the resulting penalty for that one practically costed Florida the game. If I'm not mistaken, Florida had the team stopped, but the penalty gave them a first down & the resulting score afterwards gave Florida yet another loss on the year.
I have rarely ever seen a football game in which Florida was involved & NOT witnessed at least one really dirty play from a Florida player. It's sad but it's true. I'm a Bama fan, & you would think I'd say something like that about Auburn but nope. When Auburn beats Bama they usually just flat out plays Bama. Or they keep it close until near the end & then take advantage of what little time is remaining. But rarely ever seen dirty unsportsmanlike stuff. When they beat Bama they do it legit. Last time Bama & Florida met in the SEC Championship almost the end of the game & Bama's center gets hurt by dirty play from a Florida player. Ya'll should realize by now that dirty play leads to bad luck on the field. And that is why ya'll lose a lot of games that ya should have won. Winners never cheat & cheaters never win. If you good you shouldn't have to cheat.

Bama looked vulnerable vs Arkansas and then dominated here only to look mediocre again vs South Carolina. What a frustrating season.

@@joeblow2069 I never watched the 2010 Auburn game and yesterday decide to watch the 4th qtr. How embarrassing was that for Saban.
I still think this is the best 3 loss team in CFB history. Just was very inconsistent. We saw what they could do when everyone executes against Big 10 co champ Michigan State and it led over into 2011.
