Brahmos aerospace corporate is jointly owned by india and Russia
    India 50.5%
    Russia 49.5%
So india has a majority share
Entire assembly line is in India
80% of the components which goes in brahmos are made in india
Ceo of the company is also indian
Brahmos is the fastest cruise missile in the world
When we export brahmos to 3rd country concession of both india and Russia is required
Profit is distributed according to stake in company
    Brahmos has many varients
Out of which we only export those which has range of less than 300km
Brahmos has already been delivered to philipines 450 m $
Negotiation for export are underway with Vietnam, Armenia and Argentina
While uae, indonesia and few others are also interested and evaluating if their requirements are met

Yes Brahmos is a joint project of India and Russia, in which India owns larger stake, 50.5% is owned by india and the rest 49.5% is owned by russia. If any missile is to be sold, firstly both the countries will have to agree for the order and then only the order will be initiated. India is trying to increase indigenious materials in brahmos so that things like employment and all increase in india, and it has been quite successful in doing so too. It's also the best missile in the world in it's domain and hence many countries are interested in it...

If a sensitive information is being discussed openly in the media, I would say chances are that it is deliberately being planted. If the enemy wants to rely on it, be my guest. On the other hand, if they want to do opposite of that, then too be my guest. What is important is to keep the enemy guessing.

We're lacking in defence budget believe me. This time budget is disastrous, the Coilation government partners are blackmailing government to transfer funds to their own house states for freebies and development of their capitals.

Bharmos & Bhramos-II is invented in collaboration of DRDO & Russian Defense Research Organization but they transfer the whole technology to India on 2014 because we can make it more cheaper and most effective the Russia buys Bhramos from us on manufacturing and shipping rates but other countries have to pay heavy.

😊Hi Zuzana, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I completely agree with you that India's defense transformation is an impressive achievement. The country's focus on self-reliance and indigenization is truly commendable. The growth in defense exports is a testament to India's capabilities and its potential to become a major player in the global defense market. Let's keep the discussion going! What do you think are the key factors driving India's success in this area?"

    Hi
On Brahmos , he is factually wrong on exports figure.
Govt set broad arms export target of 5 bill US$ per year not on Brahmos alone.
If it gets even 50 Mill US$, ( yes even fifty Mill US$) export of Brahmos alone on every year basis, it is still good number.
