Almost the polar opposite of when he played as Grog. Anytime he had to hurt/break something he would roll an unnecessary natural 20.

Poor Fjord even after being ReFjorged the natural ones still kick him in DA PRIDE!!! knew that those natural 20's will have a price in the future when he played Grog but DAMN!

@@biobiobio7777 I don't know how true that is. I just started c1 a bit ago. He lost that initial fight against that half-orc, he lost the arm wrestling contest with like 10 terrible roles in a row + help from everyone.

Fjord I felt so bad for as he had a great plan going in and quickly took advantage...then got critted to all kinds of fuck.

That fight Beou had took about 24 seconds btw. Imagine seeing all of that, in the span of 24 secs.
Yeah when you actually look at it in DnD time that was basically a beyond brutal beatdown within the span of less than half a minute...poor old man..

@@Dani-qg2li SPOILERS C1, but the final showdown of C1 with Vecna only lasted 8 rounds. So that entire display lasted 48 seconds. D&D time is weird.
Wabba Dabba Well every round is 6 seconds, so you have to account for multiple players.

Travis has the best worst rolls this campaign. Three ones out of four rolls at the games early on, hernia during a light workout, and gets blasted into oblivion during a fight club. Fjord will be the character to accidentally kill himself soon.

I love that in a cage fight Beau chokes a guy out to put him to sleep, but when it comes time for a sleeping sentry on the roof she opts for acid.
I love how the Dice gods hate Travis unless it's an important story moment, then they are almost always in his favor.

True. Though the true enemy of Vox Machina will forever be the dreaded door, just as for the Mighty Nein it is the nefarious chair. Campaign 3, whatever team comes next must deal with the unholy alliance of a door and chair working in conjunction. Also while beating old people senseless.

When Jester asked to “workout” with Fjord, I thought that was going to go in a completely different direction, but I’m so happy with where it went!
I love how this entire string of the fight with beau was just them making old man jokes at the dudes expense, to the point where even matt was playing in on it.
So basically Beau fights the D&D equivalent of Glass Joe, Fjord gets run over by a truck (and then the trucks backs up over him...poor Travis) and Yasha...well...I'm still struggling to describe that one. Fun times.
Glass Joe was SUCH a pull. Thank you for that

@@manandshark the beau jester thing might happen once, but there's personal reasons jesters crushing hard in fjord. Travis doesn't get table top romances, or doesn't like em I can't remember which and Laura is trying to either embarrass him or ease him into dnd romance. So the odds of beau jester being a permanent thing are low. Fjorester is likely how this will happen
That was more matt then anything, the nat 1 doing, that, is a pisstake.

my party was fighting this old wizard last session and he was about to run away using his 7th level spell and started to monologue and i kid you not one of my players said "ok boomer" in response. guess who got fingered of death to death biatch. they killed him but he died with a content smile. it was the cleric who said that so reviving her was a pain but she lived :P
