1:44 that is not islamic symbol , that is "Tuğra" it's Ottoman Sultans signature for edicts, letters etc... It's kind of art for Sultans because all Sultans creating their Tuğras and they always tried better Tuğra than their ancestors.

I live in istanbul but my hometown is West Black Sea region , as you see in the video at nights , as the name come from , sea and the sky looks darker when we compare to istabul , in istanbul it is not very easy to see stars as the environment is bright , but at Black Sea region as the sea and sky is darker , when you look up to the sky you see very bright hundreds of stars sparkling and even you can see milky way easily , that is why that region is called Black Sea , not so much moon light but the sun sets verry atractive at the sea side and you can see dolphin groups at the sea , as our summer home was near Black sea coast I could even see dolphin groups from the balcony of our home.

This city is very nice for people who want to live in a quiet place after their retirement. I am from Trabzon but currently live in San Antonio. This is my plan that I will move there in my 50s.

The metal plates are usually used as decoration and either have religious pieces or the tuğra of a sultan (the symbol/sign) on them hammered in them. (Not sure what the technique is called). Also I'm glad TH-cam recommended you to me, I'm enjoying your videos!
6:30 Space nerd here, can confirm this is the milky way indeed. As a matter of fact you're absolutely right either way. That somewhat brighter looking blob to the bottom left is probably the constellation of Sagittarius which consists of many star clusters and nebulae, simply because it's located in the very centre of the galaxy.

But just a funny fact for you that picture you commented about the super clear sky with stars, well noone gets to see it like that :D it is an long exposure shot with a star tracking tripod probably but anyhow still of course pollution is a lot lower there you still see more stars than from a crowded metropol city.
