I wonder.... I have a recessed wall space in my apartment. It's approx 9ft × 5ft. Do you think it's possible to frame a faux wall in that space using tension rods & plastic panels (or dry wall panels)? I'd want to cover the faux wall with peel & stick wallpaper to blend it in with the surrounding walls afterwards. I know that the tension rods are certainly not safe for permanent installation or for spaces with youngsters & pets roaming around ... but for a very temporary install? How would I go about achieving this? Any suggestions?
