These are nature’s own battle tanks, and (with the exception of the Indian Elephant), all endemic to the African continent. The African Savannah is the stage for thousands of battles every day. How do elephants, these large, cumbersome creatures survive and even prosper on a diet that even the strictest vegetarian would pass on! Well for one thing, most other animals get out of their way. But lions and hyenas are not always so easily moved - they prey on young, sick and old elephants in particular. This seemingly gentle giant has been revealed to have a darker side in the last few years too. They may survive on just plant life, but that doesn’t mean they don’t like a fight - to the death. Elephants have been observed attacking and killing Rhinos in the last 20 years. It’s a savage clash. Meanwhile, the Rhino, a tough looking customer if ever there was one, is an endangered species. When the great herds go on the search for food, predators go on the hunt for them. If ever there was an animal that seems destined to survive, it’s the Rhino, which has been around for over 6 million years. But it too has an enemy: mankind - the deadliest foe of all. Then there's the hippopotamus. An adult hippo is a huge, aggressive animal, and even the largest crocodiles tend to stay away from it. However, when baby hippos stray from their mothers, then crocodiles, lions and hyenas will have a go if they can get away without being attacked themselves by adults in the baby hippo’s herd. That’s why baby hippos must stay close to Mum.

I've got the "Race of Life" count at 18 in 26 minutes. I step backwards from the last video. Please be better, because these videos are great. The narration script is a 6 out of 10.
Usually every video on this channel gets played or has been played on "secrets of nature" "free high quality documentaries" I'm guessing they're the same channels but when they're uploaded here from another channel and the same the other way, they say they went out and recorded it, and rename it, it gets just funny when you know the video is from the 90s or early 2000s, like "the wonderful world of the woods part 1-2-3" was made in the early 2000s and upload 3 years ago on "free high quality documentaries" and then just a few months ago they uploaded it here and renamed it " secrets of the woods, an incredible journey\parts 1-2-3" and tried saying they recorded it last year, idk, I made my comments on it and he's probably deleted them because how was it uploaded 3 years ago and recorded 20, if his guy just spent a whole year in the woods recording and getting to know these animals?
But other than the dishonesty, I really like this channel, it's just a shame when they do this, I think every channel does and that's fine if they give credit and not monetize someone else's work

Understanding the cycle of animal survival in the wild is nature but when you throw in the evil actions of poachers or trophy hunters it makes me wonder why the word mankind exists after afterall there's nothing kind about the extinction of animals or seeing a baby elephant starve to death because poachers killed the mother to remove the tusk.
