I’m glad that I found your channel. Subscribed! I live about three and a half hours from HMB and Pacifica but try to get there once a month or so to do some crabbing during the season. Perhaps I’ll run into you one of these days.
That looked delicious man! I just made my own snare using instructions from fishermans life’s video 😂 we’ll see how it goes when I head back out to the beach
Nice video! Two questions! Do you need to buy a second rod license to have two snares? Is this north of HMB? I just move to the bay and I love fishing! This will be my first time fishing for crabs!
Yeah to add to this, you really should tighten the drag *before* casting a heavy weight like a crab snare. Not only does it get the drag set *before* you retrieve, but if that were braided line and the drag was loose you could seriously injure your finger if the line slips during the cast.
Really like the crab dip. My personal tweak. I would have too loose the shredder cheese add more cilantro and some sambal chilli paste, Or I would do a Singaporean sweet chilli sauce. I think a traditional roti bread (East Indian bread) Sikh Hindu Indians. Sort of a bread served In the temples. Or a tandori stone oven style naan bread.
The crabbing was cool too but your daughter earned the thumbs up, super cute :)

how many crab snares (Poles) can you legally use when casting from the beach? I thought I heard you can use 2?
Yes you can use 2 rods on the beach with a valid fishing license
Nice video! Two questions! Do you need to buy a second rod license to have two snares? Is this north of HMB? I just move to the bay and I love fishing! This will be my first time fishing for crabs!
you should use finger guard when casting heavy setup. crab looks delicious.

Thanks! Will keep that in mind next time!
You have crabs. Nice job snaring, when are you going to start dropping pots?
Haha, I’m lazy. When I shake the lazy bones I’ll get back into dropping pots 😂😂
Your video from several years ago was one of the first Kayak crabbing video I watched and got me into it.

moon kim ahh the classic HMB video!
I saw these crab snares all over here in Los Angeles (walmart,Big5) and come to find out its illegal here in Southern california.
looks bomb as hell. go chiefs! :^)
Hope you clean up all the trash at the end.
You're tripping, bro. Just dunk the whole thing in boiling water and eat the thing. You dump that stuff when you eat it.
As he says it’s a quick way of killing them he over there killing them as painfully as possible 😭
WTF!!!!!!
Thank you for killing my ears
Low key man, don't broadcast where you're fishing. All the other bay area YTers are more discrete. Just a bad look.

Ohh that sounds awesome!! Naan would definitely go well with the fish!
@@FishDiveCook Trader Joe's will be your friend it has a couple of different tandori naan breads I like the garlic naans.
They're thick .
