    This strat is awesome, and it works! Word of warning though, you gotta put that first temple in a place that won't easily be scouted or it will not end well.

    Meme build of course but it's an interesting exercise to make a fast heroic build.
    Build order has some inefficiencies I didn't like. Namely having a villager on gold and making 3 workers in classical age (typically in a fast heroic you want to go to classical as late as possible and powerbuild). Also you do more worker switches (from gold to wood, then from wood to food) then necessary which always introduce inefficiencies from walking time.
    Made some changes by going up to classical 1 worker later but making a hersir while you go up. That way you can use hersir and berserk to build armory taking 30 secs so you just make two workers in classical. You'll have an extra worker 60 seconds earlier which pays over half the hersir cost already. Then because you go up to classical 1 worker later you don't need to put a villager instead of dwarves on gold, you'll just go 3 early dwarves => temple => 2 more dwarves.
    Build:
    Make dwarf.
    2 vils to food with cart.
    1 vil makes two ox carts (First to gold, second to wood) then goes to wood. Go for stragglers or forest close to food.
    (Most Norse builds will want to start out with a dwarf to gold but have the ox cart made by another villager, that way you can get the second and third dwarf before temple while still going up fast enough without needing villagers on gold).
    1 vil to wood.
    rest of the vils to food. Make dwarves ASAP when gold allows that go to gold.
    After 3rd dwarf wait till you make temple at 150g, this should be around 2:25
    After temple when you can make two dwarfs then go up.
    While going up make hersir.
    2 villagers on wood collect exact amount for armory (135) then help with hunt.
    In classic, make 2 villagers send first to food second to wood.
    Build armory with berserk and hersir, make sure to do this right away on hitting classic.
    Go up to heroic at ~4:51.
    Redistritribute villagers, hunt including great hunt will run out around this time. Send one ox cart and 7 vils to wood. Rest to hunt/chickens.
    Send berserk and hersir forward, build more hersirs. Ravens should have found opponent. Make forward longhouses. Pump berserk/hirdman/throwing axemen. Arrive in heroic, cast your godpowers and go to town.
    This version of the build is basically the same with an extra hersir thrown in which is nearly 'free' because the build is more efficient.
    It's easy to stop with a bunch of heroes and target the human units with TC/towers. But still a fun build.
    Loki can do this build as well by the way and better. Odin get's great hunt (600f extra hunt) and 10% father gathering. But for a fast Heroic you make 2 ox carts (100f 100w), ~10 gatherers (500f), a hersir (80f), classical (500f) and heroic (800f) for a total of 1980f. You start with 200 so you need to collect 1780f. Odin does that 10% faster so collects that in the time Loki collects ~1620. In other words in terms of fast Heroic Odin basically gets ~160 extra food. However Loki saves 50f 50w on the two ox carts. And Loki constructs armory faster so doesn't need Hersir.
    Basically Loki has MORE cost savings early on and can do this strategy better. Especially as throwing axemen/hirdmen/Hersirs are better for Loki (more counter damage + spawn myth units). Plus you could go full meme with loki and just turn all your workers into berserks to add onto the push. Arguably if you don't kill them you lose anyway?

      When testing, despite dropping the foundation as soon as classical hit, it takes the time of 3 vills/dwarves creating to make the armoury, hence 3 rather than 2.
      It’s actually pretty much the same build that magic uses in his video, just slightly different.

      Awesome! You can use this as a template for all odin builds, just got to adapt the transition to classical once you have clicked up. So you could use this for a double great hall raiding cavalry rush for example

    Do you start any econ upgrades in between those click ups? And if you do, when?

    • @MorleyGames1
      @MorleyGames1  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No as it’s very aggressive and aiming to get an eco advantage from killing their vills. Getting the eco upgrades would massively slow down the heroic age time. The point is to get the walking woods and giant ASAP for a power spike

    Do you feel not making hersir into classical is too risky?

    • @MorleyGames1
      @MorleyGames1  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends what you’re up against i suppose. Vs the super fast Kronos rush, you’d be in trouble. Otherwise, it should be ok. If you’re being rushed, you could potentially use the walking woods back home and you should be able to kill off the enemy army and then push forward. That’s far from ideal though.
