Actually that’s how they trained, speed and aggression. We learned a lot from Fallujah and ramadi in Iraq urban terrains. This rangers fight just like what you see here.
Not necessarily, you need to keep moving, you can't stay in one place for too long unless you want to be a sitting duck, speed and being able to surprise your opponent.
Yes, speed an aggression. But cqc doctrine is way more methodical than this. IRL doctrine has it so room clearing is very much slower yet better coordinated. These rangers were breaking doctrine as they just ran into rooms like a crazed madmen. Yet they managed to get away with it as the enemy wasn’t ready for such maneuvers.
@@nvgboiyes6386 right, they used the same tactics they just speed it up a little lol. But yes a little slower is more reasonable
@@baileypanama I was taught that one-man room clearing could be a death sentence.
The opening scene where you're buddy dives through the window and clears the entire op team is wonderful. Shows just how much the skills translate, and it highlights the level of training these guys have.
I don't get it, the others are complete bust. They see a team mate getting a hit in the hallway or even the same room, yet don't even have guns ready, really no reaction. Second scene, guy hiding in corner, gun pointed to ground, his mate was hit 5 seconds ago. This is not training vs non training... It is lack of any common sense.
When my son came of age to play airsoft, I would take him and play as a means to bond. The tactics I learned in AFSOC and as an LEO transitioned really well to airsoft. So, I taught my son as much as he could retain. Upside, we kicked ass as a team. Downside, No one wanted to play against us because we would dominate. Truth be told it was hard dialing it down so amatuers and untrained personal could have fun too.
In what world would Special Forces operator ever run jump through a window?? Super unrealistic and involves 0 real life tactics
@@oldfatman69 In a world where he doesn't have to worry about dying and at worst faces getting hit with plastic pellets. It’s actually hilarious watching civilians vs soldiers. The lack of awareness is one of the funniest aspects, they really do just tend to stand around rather than being alert or ready to fire back.
I feel like a lot of FPS gamers would have far better instincts than this lot when it comes to positional cover, movement and tactical team work / fire. Cool to see this.
But we do lack the ability to breach rooms successfully
Let's be honest, though. A lot of FPS gamers would spend more time catching their breath than actually fighting.
@@AngeloBarovierSD Maybe, most gamers I know exercise regularly and aren’t overweight. That stereotype is I’m sure around, but a lot of streamers etc aren’t that.
Surely these guys play games if they're interested in airsoft. They must be garbage at those too, lol. Like come the fuck on you don't need military training to at least understand the basic principle of covering angles, keeping watch, being ready, what have you. Especially if you know you're up against military guys; you could at least give them some practice dealing with untrained combatants like insurgents. This is essentially target shooting.
I wonder how frustrating it would be to act as team leader and to attempt organizing these guys into showing a modicum of resistance. Hardest part of dealing with non-military is discipline.

Those room sweeps were so clean. Can tell he's done it many times.
They all took corners to surround all exits. Also notice they didn't stick their body outside the window firing and used the wall and ambidextrous positions for cover concealment. Even with more ammo in airsoft they conserved still with clean shots. Even relaxed with an advantage they had 360 awareness on the battlefield and stopped them from going for the flag. . Nice to watch
No room was ever cleared in this manner ever!
Notice a few things, they’re trained to shoot ambidextrous. This is really important to be able to shoot around corners on both sides and in case of injury. Additionally the teamwork is a crucial aspect. Once the dude was getting bit by the ants his buddy helped him immediately. That’s a key component of special operations, they watch out for each other as if they were looking out for their children.
EVERYONE with a gun should be training to shoot ambidextrously, because if you just use your strong hand, and you have to shoot around an opposite corner, you'd have to expose yourself to fire, unless you switched hands.
Pretty sure it's standard for all U.S. infantry to be taught to shoot ambidextrous. It's an important skill in urban warfare.
@@crowe6961
We are not trained to shoot ambidextrous in The United States Army Infantry School.
@@crowe6961 Shooting ambi is a new thing (as in from the 90s) from civilian schools. The military as a whole does not train to shoot ambi because they have a hard enough time teaching people how to shoot with their dominant hand. Rangers are of course, not average infantrymen, so they take the extra step and extra hours training both sides.
@@crowe6961 it is absolutely not standard lol.

When you've been airsofting for years but suddenly you're outclassed on a level you can't comprehend by a group of dudes who have never even played airsoft.
Airsoft and real world tactics overlap. The difference is training, skill, experience and discipline applied from doing it in real life. If these people have been playing airsoft for years and have zero awareness or discipline towards applying any the most important function in military tactics like pulling security, then they suck.
@@jirky015 There's also the difference in ammo and "ballistics"; that's probably why most of the team were trying to get in close quarters as to not worry about needing to adjust for windage. In the real world, engagement starts at roughly 500 meters with a typical rifle in an open area.
@@FinGeek4now Of course there’s the difference between ammo and ballistics. Real world, the first shots everyone is going to hear it and be on alert. You can take further, more accurate shots. These guys aren’t maneuvering so freely in the real world. In airsoft world, first, the team was trying to maneuver as quickly as possible which obviously caught the other team by surprise. Second, the other team was either hanging in the open or clustered in the buildings. It wasn’t really about windage or being accurate, it was about having a place of cover to shoot and maneuver from quickly. My overall point was the other team was not pulling security, they were standing around in the open, and they let themselves get overrun and maneuvered on. As far as tactics and basic military disciplines, you can tell the difference. Pulling security is engrained in every trained soldier because it’s the most important aspect and greatest priority of tactical ground combat.
@@jirky015 It really wasn't a criticism, well, maybe a little, but criticism against their opponents. I think that they may have had a bit tougher time going up against a professional airsoft team rather than a haggle of friends going out for a weekend. @@punkydamonkey989 have you been to ZULU24?
@@squeakyvoice2101 no I haven't even heard of it
Dude rocking the MG4 looks freaking ripped!
Our military guys are so awesome. Around min 3 I loved watching that guy running toward the gate laying down suppression fire while his two buddies were coming up from the side. They didn't even flinch from the fire going right by them.
I'm sure everyone loves when these guys show up
I mean they’re not even playing the game might as well hop on CoD if ur gonna stand still irl
Pure tactical obliteration nicely done and well played. Look forward to part 2 good sir.
Twelve second in and im howling 😂😂😂 dude just walked in and delivered professional freedom to everyone
I just want to point out that at 0:47 he flicks his safety on to go through the window. Incredible detail.
So, could an airsoft platform be good sub for safety drilling? If i want to build muscle memory, I'd like the spend the first months of training into flipping airsoft guns safety while also having some fun doing it. Memory is transferable to the--uhm-- powdered platform.
@@tubyduby2816 absolutely! I think that's a great idea!
@@tubyduby2816 Yes it can. As a civilian pretty serious and engaged airsoft player myself (RS not freely allowed in my country), we do a lot of professional drills/courses/training on safety and manipulations in high stress situations (when you f up it's push ups/sit ups to make you remember). I pretty much auto safety and have proper muzzle awareness in all situations now.
@@tubyduby2816 Absolutely. Gun school brought a dude in who had never even touched a real gun, only training the same events with airsoft, and he ended up picking up real firearms quickly just from the muscle memory from doing the same movements with airsoft. th-cam.com/video/qQDfwyUgtjg/w-d-xo.html
It's not detail, it's reflexive from lots of training.
Went through most of the comments and I can’t believe no one pointed out the huge ant nest he was standing in @5:25. I’m assuming by his reaction, and by the looks of the nest, that it was a fire ant hill. Looks like the ants are the only ones to put up a fight that day.
I didn't see that thx man and that entire scene had me dying 😂😂
That window jump at 7:40 is underappreciated
too much adderall and red bull
As a former spec ops soldier myself I'm amazed at the lack of awareness on the opposing forces in this video - they have absolutely no situational awareness or tactical discipline WHATSOEVER. They just gather in buildings and stand around in questionable defenses and allow anyone to just run in and out. At any rate it was good fun to see the Rangers work them over.
ya cause they have honnest jobs that dont include killing people for petrol and opium ... they are good people playing a sport . if it was a milsim you could judge but this is a hobby
@@myname-mz3lo So you're saying that Rangers isn't an honest job? Honestly this is dumbest comment I've ever seen and doesn't make a bit of sense. Kindly fuck off
What I noticed was how fast he was able to assess whats a threat who's friendly his tactics were on point but his reactions were spot on dude knows his shit in and out
An old buddy of mine was a retired Ranger, one of the coolest guys I've ever known! Everyone in town knew him as "Ranger Steve" until his stupid ass neighbors called in a noise compliant and the Tacoma PD got the WRONG f'n house and gunned him down in his own home... R.I.P. wtf? "noise compliant" "police department" and "gunned him down" in the same sentence ?????? where the fuck you live o.o
Oh shit, sorry to hear that
Shit wow.thats awful
@@tbpom1003 shit happens, even to the best of us.... He will always be missed around this town by those who knew him. And I mean TONS of people knew him from hangin out at Chambers Creek where everyone hung out and skim boarded. One of the first couple times I'd even met him he showed me this sick tomahawk he had and an Airborne knife, not only that but also how to throw them both to get the "timing" right. Within a couple attempts I was throwing them both so well he was impressed enough he straight up GAVE me both of them! Like $150 worth of blades?!

In the first minute you demonstrate how airsofters NEVER want to play defense.
yeah no 360 awareness
What's the point of spending all that money on kit and weapons but not learning and tactics and strategy. I thought this was a milsim environemt?
In that building when your guy took out that whole room, no one attemted to shoot back. Weird
@@alhassant9204 Some DO take it to that level, but usually airsofters want to be the heroes, so no one wants to play defense.

The most impressive thing is the speed with which they have overwhelmed the other team.
Training pays off & glad to have the 75th on our side.
Cheers from Belgium 🇧🇪
The other team wasn't putting in a lot of effort. They were just standing around chilling. I probably could have wiped them all out.

Your side, as long as we choose to protect Europe via NATO. I find it very frustrating when Europeans in nations that don't meet the NATO 2% GDP requirement act like the USA which funds NATO is on their "side". Frankly the USA protects you and every now and then you contribute.
Funniest part... time stamp 5:04... "Oh. Ants."
So THAT'S a Ranger's weakness!!!
The best clip was when the army guys use to say something and then shoot 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
Imagine just pulling up to the airsoft field one day and getting matched against these guys lol
I'd switch teams or just shoot myself
Bunch of 10 prestige’s
SBMM gone wrong
i would be nervous af but try to get a kill on at least one of them
I've played 2v2 paintball match against marines before on their base and smoked them every game with zero combat training (except COD). 😂
The way these dudes handle their guns swapping from left to right handed so fluidly is so cool to watch.
Yeah so cool red hot casing in the face. Real soldiers don’t do that 😂
Good teammates make such a noticeable difference
A detail I noticed was that he's actually ambidextrous, you can see him switch his replica between his left and right shoulder to clear angles easier; really a great showcase of the benefits of ambidextrous shooting
The difference between military trained and civilians, that simple. Good job Rangers!!
yep . one is better at being a murderer for hire while the others are people playing a sport . whats your point ? they should be proud to be smart enough to not go to war for petrol and opium when their country isnt under attack.
@@myname-mz3lo yep, always one with an ignorant comment. See, this is the problem with modern society, people like you. The way he broke the gun down as he moved around the corner is exactly why you do it, he was faster than the guy who was meant to be defending

Reason I can imagine is simply after 2 and a half years deployed in Iraq there's a difference between knowing you may not come home fighting a war and going into a fun setting with harmless toys careless.. there's a deep separation.... many may criticize my judgement that it's all in fun, yet I firmly believe there's an internal instinct to game and that's fine, get it out! The flip side is that from my experience it's really haunting to be trained to kill and have to face another who also was. Of course they prevailed, these marines, there's a completely different mindset in motion. End of day advice is play your games and DON'T GO TO WAR ❤
You know it's funny, I was career federal law enforcement in an agency that did a lot of raids, and I used to get more nervous when we did simunition training and making an entry than I did when it was for real. I think it was because I never really expected to get shot for real, but I knew I was going to get hit in simunition training.
@@ralphholiman7401 I agree!! Thanks for your service!! 🇺🇸
This is great, but most of these people are so casual, it's no reason they got wiped. I mean some guys see their teammate get hit, meh no reaction whatsoever. For most, it is really just ENTERTAINMENT. But, airsoft can and is a great training opportunity for real situations, regardless of whether you are military or civilian. Everyone is looking the part. The problem is everyone who got wiped wasn't there mentally. For them it's just a weekend of playing SOF. Nothing wrong with it, but even in a harmless game, why play...if you don't play to win?! Something to think about.
I gotta disagree a bit. I was always of the mind that airsoft bred bad habits that we don't want our guys to exhibit in true combat scenarios. The benefits from practicing communication and the physical conditioning were not worth the detrimental effects because comms training and pt were always integral to real training evolutions. For those not privy to real military training evolutions, sure, this can be a lot of fun and can help scratch that itch. You might even be more equipped than some would-be criminals. But as far as preparing combat personnel, I can't recommend it.
@@TurdFurgeson571 👏🏻🙌🏻
It's a casual setting. People go for fun and to relax, no matter the competitive outcome. It's 100% entertainment with dangers and threat to life eliminated. Airsoft is not good for actual combat situations.
@@TurdFurgeson571 they’ve been using laser tag and paint for years now so I idk what you mean by bad habits.but I’d say the feel and flow without expending ammunition for the sake of audio realism is pretty worth it…
If there’s a way to train without using actual powder and brass etc which costs tax payer dollars, then I’m 100000% certain it’s (at least) beneficial
