    Brilliant Marcus. Whilst not the greatest player in the world I have four rules for each shot. Gratitude, Intention, Attention and Acceptance. Watching all your videos has re affirmed and given my the confidence to continue on this path. If only everyone coached / mentored your way there would be so many people would enjoy the game more and be better players.

    Another great helping everyone instruction not concentrating on dorsiflexion and pronation! I hope you intend to publish a book one day to capture your holistic Zen philosophy. I believe it would be a classic. Straight up Marcus.

    played in 48 kph winds today and hit 3 greens from 200+ yards out of the rough and ended up bouncing off the back of the greens. All using this routine. Thanks for posting it. Def coming for some training when the UK reopens.

    I couldn't find the GRF video about the small,quick jump at the transition. I increased my 8i clubhead speed from 62 to 72 mph measured on Sonar
    . Very surprised. Come to IL and spread the news.

    Last four rounds: 87, 86, 91, 93. No intentions with practice swings. Today…76. Chose a target in the distance and “rehearsed” my shots in my practice swings. You da’ man, Marcus.

    Good and important Stuff Marcus👍👌. Good players and Pros often times back off from address position, step back reset n regroup as they recognize that they are not COMMITTED to the shot or they are still thinking about things that are to be a subconscious reaction to your understanding of the shot or the intention of it. They play it out in their minds before standing on the ball and if they feel an interference or change in their original intention before pulling the trigger. The view and geometry changes once your stand sideways to the target and the aiming will tend to change if you allow it to confuse. A feel for change also needs to be developed. The view and feel changes once you change from passenger seat to drivers seat and you need to allow the subconscious brain to execute. I think a lot of my double cross shots happen due to this. Marcus can you please elaborate and guide me on this? 🙌

    Great vid of the best pre shot routine ever. How to prepare, visualise and focus. We all play alongside golfers with such methodical pre shot routines. What generally happens to the shot? They duff it? 🤣😂

    Love this Marcus thanks. Just one question. You said you gaze is focused on a dimple. Can you expand on that a little. Is it front or back or side of ball?

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is to defocus and calm the mind, any dimple 👍

    Great video but most wont get the importance, All i can say is that probably the main reason i've got down to a low hcp at an old age relatively quickly is that i have a similar method.Its certainly not my swing! its only beginning to get good now! My backswing had 101 tips i should be doing in it !So its only this and working on hand eye co-ordination and movement drills that I've done in every other sport but No One ever does for Golf!

    Hi Marcus, can you still play good golf if you have Aphantasia like me and have no visual minds eye?

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't know the clinical answer but my opinion would be that you can utilise all your other senses in a meaningful way to recognise your intention 👍

    • @johnduncan6569
      @johnduncan6569 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GRFGolf I’ll go with that. I’m sure you must be able to as I can play okay at times! Visualisation would be a bonus when you hear the pros talk about it. Nicklaus said he visualised every shot he hit, even on the range to incredible detail. And pros saying about the colour line they saw when putting 🤷🏻‍♂️ trying it was actually how I found out I had aphantasia after 39 years!
