Hatte selbt einen C20XE im Calibra war damals der beste Motor in dem Leistungsbereich den es zu kaufen gab. Noch besser ging der Kadett damit, bis zu den 6 Zyl. BMW´s bzw. 6 Zyl. VW Corrados gab es nichts dagegen. Der Kadett hat alles zersägt , 7,9 sec war Werksangabe allerdings war er etwas flotter. Traumwerte für 1988.

Of course it is reliable, brakes are to small only 256mm in front and 270mm in the rear but they are easy to upgrade to 280mm from the meriva in the front and its done to mine, the power of the c20xe is realy nice but as you can see in a newer video from me i changed the engine to c20let the last winter for more Power, something about 280ps and 320ps. Its chiped and the engineblock is upgrade. Handling is very nice, i mean its not a race car for sure but i will never sell this car anymore
Sind noch viele da. Habe seit diesem Jahr einen, rot, 1994, 1.Hand, orginal (hatte noch Orginalreifen), C25XE V6 24V, Frauenauto, Garagenauto, 133,000 km. Brauchte ne Lima und einen Klima-Kondensator, hoffen wir, dass er jetzt ne Weile tut. Hat jetzt Winterschlaf. Mein Freund (Kfz-Meister) meinte, ich sollte ihn sozusagen neu einfahren, also hat er bis jetzt nur so 200 gesehen, alles mit wenig Gewalt, viel Schwung. Und ist auch lustig, mit so einer alten Karre und 170 PS Dauertempo 160 zu fahren und 9 Liter zu brauchen.

@@LuisMiguel-gr2hg a few years ago I had a Renault Clio 1.2... it was even worse than that. Top speed in speedometer was about 170km/h, real was about 163 and the speedo was scaled to 250km/h 😂😂.

Или те, кого он в конце догоняет, тоже под 200 несутся? Слишком плавно догнал. Да и пейзаж мелькает не быстро.)) Я тоже однажды прикололся и снял ролик, как я на Калине ехал за 200.))) Когда датчик скорости, поставленный мной, оказался не родным. А настоящая скорость была не выше восьмидесяти, а спидометр зашкалил.))) Когда показывал всем, все верили.)))

The camshafts in the c20 Xe are crap and therefore also the hydraulic rockers, there will be an day that that engine sounds like as if you have an thousand bolts and nuts running around in it freely
@@JLCars-bp7wz Der muss ja jetzt echt heftig abgehen. Der ging ja schon mit 150ps sehr gut. Ich glaube auch nicht das es irgendein Auto gibt mit 150PS, dass es mit dem Calibra aufnehmen kann.
Naja...Glaube versetzt Berge... ein Cali mit 150 PS rennt definitiv keine 240 Kmh das ist mal Fakt...nach Tacho kann man da nicht gehen...ich habe zwei C20ne die mit 205 Kmh Vmax eingetragen sind...einer läuft laut Tacho 214 und der zweite sogar 220...mit GPS gemessen waren es echte 204 und 208...also lass es bei deinem so echte 225 sein was absolut top ist...
@@patricklehmann7069 nun ja angegeben ist er ja mit 233 Kmh Vmax...10 Kmh mehr ist schon viel...hast du was dran gemacht denn ohne wäre das nur mit mehr als 200 PS zu erreichen? Selbst ein Calibra Turbo,der viel besser im CW Wert ist,kommt Serie so auf 245-250 Kmh.

Jup war n klasse motor hab aber letzten winter trotzdem auf C20LET umgebaut um mit den heutigen autos besser mit zu halten😁😅

I recently bought one of these, what are the common issues?
Overheating on traffic if not well fluided. Maybe a slight “oversteering “ at some corners at high speed. Even being front wheel drive.

@@feedingravens vor allem Saugantrieb. Der V6 geht gepflegt nicht kaputt, sind noch motoren alter Schule.
@@rammstein7292 Im ersten Versuch war's der Zahnriemen, Ventile aufgeschlagen, nix gut. Jetzt im zweiten Versuch ist er gleich neu.
Mein erstes Auto war ein astra gsi mit c20xe.

chip plus schweissnähte innen am Fächerkrümmer weg und 2.8er Motronik mit 859kopf und 179er Brücke hat das ganz entspannt hin.
